They worked very hard despite cold winter temperatures and completed the job in a timely manner. They took their time laying the posts and carefully measuring the distances and property line. Antonio is very detail oriented and made sure that we were comfortable with the property line and we discussed how the fence would flow given the grade of the property. I appreciated that he is definitely of the "measure twice (or three times), cut once" mindset and I felt like he was very focused on getting it right and making sure that I was comfortable before starting the install. I never got the sense that he was trying to rush this job to hurry off to another project. His team left our yard spotless during and after the install and graciously cleared bushes and brush in order to install the fence in the first place. Any time I had a question about the project or needed clarification, Antonio was quick to call or text me. He is very customer service oriented and puts a lot of effort into maintaining open lines of communication and partnering with his clients to get the job done right. Every day he said he would show up to work, he did, and he was always available by text (day or night, including weekends). Example screws not nails, butt up to building, down to survery marker, spacing was not consistent at all, quite a few boards were really crack ... No more cash deals for me. They cleaned up the lose trash daily to keep the area clean. It was a huge job and I had other bids from $16,900 - $21,075 so I felt like I won twice. I got a fence and a much better deal with doing it this way. I liked the transparency of their deal much better than the other companies, cause I knew their labor numbers were very high. Lumber/80lb bags of concrete cost me $4,720 plus delivery. Labor cost me $7,950 after some wheeling and dealing. Grand total: $12,870. Savings is: $4,030-$8k + Great family owned business and I appreciate the deal and great work. It was worth every penny!

Adam came out to fix an entry door issue and ended up renovating my entire kitchen. I live in an…read moreolder townhome (built in the 1949s) and it had been a long time rental unit prior to me purchasing. The kitchen door was old, so I decided to close it up and move the back door to the dining room wall. All in all Adam and his crew were fantastic. For each issue found, Adam had someone who could step in and fix it. I'll post pictures later, but Adam renovated: 1. Entire kitchen (moved walls, installed new appliances, added recessed lighting) 2. Moved my basement entrance from the living room to the kitchen 3, Moved back door (to include brickwork to close that door up outside) from kitchen to a sliding glass door with deck 4. Added a dishwasher 5. Added a recessed light in the living room 6. Electrical upgrades from the main breaker to the weird wiring Adam did a fantastic job. As issues arose, he jumped in and addressed them and found solutions quickly. It was a fast decision to go for broke and he made sure I had a working stove for Christmas and reused my cabinets to help me save a little money. Which I promptly spend on beautiful countertops, that Adam was able to find and his crew able to cut to fit and install in a day. Bottom line - we hired them to create a garden space in front of our home that removed the plastic, daylight trees, and fix our driveway to make things easier for us. We wanted a large chain linked fence area for a chicken run…read more And as I mentioned to Joe of the problems we needed to solve, he said he could build us a little wood retaining wall, would weld a chain link fence over the top too, and build tunnel from the run into the gated area. Struck me as an eager problem solver. He really did a good job of it over all. The wooden retaining wall wasn't perfect though, like they didn't put a gravel bed down first which AFAIK is usually done. And oddly the sides were built with the angle of the hill slope vs building the side level with the back as it probably should have been (level with the back, then level up to front tapper of a downward slope). Although it added some wacky charm to it which fits our custom chicken coup anyhow. The whole chain linked fence with welded top (of crossmembers and chain link) is great, the tunnel was way better than expected (very study and solid). But I'll take one point off for: A) I wish Joe was a more communicative over the build period, and B) He charged almost double the VA legal max for the deposit. Overall he did good by us and happy we chose Joe to do this work.
