As always, Aspen Pretty Eyes is with me, She is a Service Dog with ADA tags &c..... As I was exiting with her, I was told firmly: "All Dogs must go around and stay outside!" My response since I have been here many times and know the ADA laws: She is my service dog! Again with a HUFF: ALL DOGS MUST GO AROUND (HOT TAR ROAD WALKWAY) AND STAY OUT FRONT! Again I insist, we always waiting inside in the enclosure: I was told we could find another place!! RUDE Knowing they were very busy, a lane shut down causing overload and tension and my requiring the new emissions, we aquised finding a tree to shade my service dog, but, not forgetting the rudeness and how wonderful my past experiences have been. Often the place is not so hectic out on 44th street between Golden and Wheat Ridge, this was a very unfortunate experience and have never been treated in such a manner! Yet, the heat of the summer sun was very uncomfortable also the tone in which I was addressed. I was so frazzled, my cell for photos were left in the car!!

I have never had a problem here with the technicians but the current manager Charles P. in the…read moreoffice is extremely rude. I went in to fix a paperwork issue I had after a VIN check. I needed to resolve it before I went to register my new vehicle. I walk into the office which had a window and Charles was sitting at the desk with his head turned. I said "Hello?" and he did not react. I said "Hello?" a little louder to which he did not react. I thought he could not hear me through the glass. I proceeded to a door that led to the testing area but it said "Employees Only" so I didn't enter. I went back to the window and saw a sign saying to ring the bell for service. I rang it but I didn't hear it ring.....still no reaction from Charles. It appeared that he didn't know I was there. I proceeded to knock on the glass at which point Charles turned towards me and rudely stated in a condescending tone, "I'm in a meeting. You need to sit down and wait!" I'm not sure who Charles thinks he is but he could have simply lifted a finger gesturing to me that he will be with me when he can. He was so rude that I asked for his name and he grumbled something unintelligible. He then turned towards continue to ignore me. I saw the side door to the office (which said nothing about no entry) and opened it to ask him his name again. When I opened the door, he threatened me. I told him I didn't hear his name to which he said "You have 30 seconds..." I asked him "Thirty seconds for what?" not knowing if he was going to assault me, shoot me or what. He said "Until I call the police." I told him to go ahead and call the police. Completely rude and unprofessional behavior from someone that is the manager nonetheless. The photo below is what Charles looked like the entire time I was trying to get his attention. I would say that I would recommend this Air Care Colorado for emissions testing because the technicians have always been nice, but if you need to deal with Charles, be cautious.

As always, the end of the month is the worst time to go to any emissions testing center. Anyways, to be fair they only had 2 gentlemen working this afternoon. The line was outside the gate on the road. I'm glad I left work early to go, I was there for about 44 minutes. Thank you for being friendly and professional, I give these guys credit. I got there about 3pm and left around 4pm, my truck was done but I had to wait for one of them to check me out. They were busy! Marvin you're such a nice guy, the older gentlemen working with you I didn't get your name, but thank you as well. You 2 guys did an amazing job.
