I was pleasantly surprised at their selection they had. I didnt realize it was countless different vendors, which is nice as you get a good variety of items and styles. Some pieces are handmade others are new. I found some great christmas presents for my family here, like a set of beaded sea turtle napkin rings. They have everything from small pieces and trinkets to large furniture items. I did notice some pieces looked like they could have been at Marshalls or Target but with higher prices. I cannot confirm this! The only issue I had was I felt the staff were a bit snooty. They watched me, all three of them, walk in and said nothing. As a former vendor, I must say that after almost 7 years of putting up with theft and backbiting of fellow vendors, i have to admit that this is the worst place to start a business as a vendor. to put up with not only dealing with the rudeness of staff and vendors, I had to keep a watchful eye on my items because the neighbor vendors kept stealing from me. i also have to add that many items that I sold were not credited to my account. Either the staff would lose my tags, or the owner was not giving me credit for them. This overall is so incredibly dishonest and i would never recommend anyone to start a small business there. One last thing, the arguing in front of customers is over the top. I have had to hire an attorney to recoup my losses. read more

I love how much this has to offer from Vintage to New to hard to find. There are local artists and antiques and everything in between perfect one stop shop for Old and New gift giving items as well. With over 90 vendors there is a lot to look at A must see for sure. Each an every vendor takes time to fill their spaces with curated pieces. I love everything about this business. Moments ago, I took the girls I nanny to the Mount Pleasant Mall to go look at all of the beautiful decor items for a rainy day activity. All of my girls are respectful young ladies, who are aware of the value of items in a store and are able to treat things with respect. My girls were having a respectful time, even connecting with other customers as shopping here has always been such a joyful and fun experience, especially for little girls who feel beautiful trying on the various accessories. While supervising the girls very close by might I add, I made sure that every item they picked up, they put right back where they found it. As they were having a wonderful time, one of the store associates came up and asked the girls to stop touching any items in the store unless they were buying them in a very ugly tone. A huge part about going to a store this large is touching, feeling, and looking at all of these items with the expectation that not EVERY single item you touch, will be purchased. I also want to add that every single item the girls touched was less than $30. I obviously kept the girls out of the areas with items that were fragile, and items that were higher priced items. The manager continued to basically yell at my girls and went further as insulting all of their mothers who were not even present. I communicated with the lady that my girls had not damaged, or gotten even close to damaging any items and were simply having a lovely time in a very respectful manner. This lady was clearly an extremely unhappy individual who was displeased in seeing little girls having a wonderful time on a rainy day. I communicated to the store associate that I would be leaving a bad review so customers are aware of the fact that she was very disrespectful to not only myself but the girls I am caring for. I am extremely upset with the way she spoke to us and this experience has made me never want to come back. I definitely will be sharing my experience beyond just this review. If you're looking for a laughably overpriced selection of furniture and Knickknacks, this is your spot! I really love antiquing and thrifting and at this point, I have a pretty good idea of fair pricing, and if something has unique history, I'm even willing to pay a little more- especially if it's to my taste or interests. Normally, I'm not even a stickler for a deal, so believe me when I say everything here is egregiously overpriced. A small vintage chest that had plenty of wear was over $300 for example. A worn leather chair- $795, a flimsy standing lamp.. $200. There are manyyyy better options in the charleston area to search for great finds, at way better prices, without the Mt. P pretentiousness. I have been here twice and I enjoy looking at the multiple multiple treasures. There is a little bit of everything for anyone. You have to allow yourself time to search through all the different vendors for sure. I will say though so many things are a higher price point and some over priced for sure. But I do return to see if I can find that "just the right thing" I am looking for. Unfortunately, I haven't felt like the customer service is such a big thing since I am not greeted or acknowledged much during my visits. read more

We had finally found this store and went in 20 min. before closing. We just wanted to get a feel for what they had when it was 5 min. before closing a very rude woman came down the isle an inform me that they were now Closed. No announcement had been made, she told another lady who had several items in her buggy that register was closed. Evidently they don't need busines, so I intend to let them have none of mine. A bunch of unpleasant women working in a fake antique mall. Most of the items are new and marked up quite high. There is def an audience for this mall and thier service. If you are like them, expect them to be pleasant, I imagine. If you aren't, expect to be treated like a criminal thinly veiled in helpfulness. After my apartment fire, it was time to get some new furnishings for my bedroom. I kept an eye out on the Facebook furniture group and stopped into a couple furniture stores, but wasn't finding anything that stood out. I wanted something different and unique without spending a fortune. I decided to stop into Mt Pleasant Mall because I heard they had a good selection. I've been places with a similar setup where people have a booth and sell their wares in that section but not like this one. Mt Pleasant Mall is huuuuge and the selection seems to rotate quickly. You could easily spend hours looking around in here. The thing is that you've got to be in the mood for it otherwise, you could just walk around aimlessly. The main item I was trying to replace for is a large dresser which would be a main focal point. Honestly, I found four or five that worked for what I needed but narrowed it down to two. They were both in a similar price point and served my needs exactly. The dresser is obviously a high-quality vintage piece that had been refurbished and distressed. It even has two hidden drawers and original brass hardware. I ended up with a couple other very unique items and picked everything up the following day. Offering delivery would be an amazing option that I'd be happy to pay for, but I was able to make due without. The staff was great to work with and I'm very happy with my overall purchase. read more

While there are some newer pieces I think the prices are fair.. if your used to shopping at HomeGoods and looking for comparable quality to that then this is not the store for you. There are some nice things in the Mt Pleasant Mall but very over priced. In some cases, astonishingly overpriced.

A mix of unique finds and cheap Wayfair and Home Goods items (at double to triple the price). First the good: I purchased a very unique, handmade nightstand that looks very Restoration Hardware. I love it and would not have found it anywhere else. Second, the not so good: Last week I saw 2 cute chairs at Home Goods. I bought one at $199. Today I went into Mt Pleasant Mall and found the other chair priced at $495. What a crazy markup! Last year I bought two buffets "on clearance" at $500 each. I later saw them on Wayfair for $275 each. I guess it's just being capitalistic, but it's a bit disingenuous for sellers drive a couple miles to HomeGoods, buy something and then more than double the price. Three stars for the smattering of fun and unique up-cycled items. read more

There is some really cool stuff here, I mean really cool. The furniture, the decor, lots of random things. The light fixtures are super rad. A lot of people with a lot of creativity and talent showcase their items here in their booths. There is really an extraordinary amount of things here that could fill pages and pages in a book. But they are just so expensive. Not that the items aren't worth it but it is like you have to have a very large income to shop here or come here for something specific you planned to purchase. I understand the rent is pretty high here for one of those booths. It isn't the kind of place for your normal every day people living paycheck to paycheck unless you want to buy sunglasses or earrings. What a great new addition to Mt Pleasant! This is a large building of smaller "shops" inside. Each store or individual seller has a section in the store- I guess their "storefront". There is only one cashier in the store, so you carry your stuff around with you or have it waiting up front. We spent over an hour in there looking at everything. They had older stuff and new stuff, which was good. We found a large map of Charleston for the cheap, which we had been looking for but could not find for under $100! This was awesome. The staff is incredibly nice and super helpful. Some of the "shops" had their sellers there, so meeting the artist was nice. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for house furnishings. We will certainly be back to continue our house decorating. read more

I have been a patron of Mt. Pleasant Mall for many years. I love browsing the aisles and have never had an issue with staff though their etiquette leaves much to be desired. Today I found some Christmas ornaments that I thought were $12.50. The tag was folded over. After browsing I went up to purchase and had to take a phone call from my sons school. I thought the number seemed high but was quite distracted. After getting to my car I checked the receipt and was charged $42.50 per ornament. I walked right back in and politely asked the same woman who checked me out to double check the pricing. They were in fact $42.50. It was my mistake and I asked if I could return or exchange for less expensive ornaments from the same vendor. She said that they have a no return policy and brushed me off. I paid cash and was willing to spend the money with the same vendor which would have been no cost to the store or vendor. I own a small business in Charleston and realize that mistakes often happen. Unfortunately their customer service has cost the store and the vendor my business. I will not be back to Mt. Pleasant Mall. read more

Great place to shop for unusual items and used furniture. I need to bring a truck next time.

I have loved this store for a long time and shopped there often. Last week I drove 4 hours to purchase two end tables. They looked great, but brought them home and three large pieces were broken off. I didnt see it because 1. I am 62 and not great vision and 2. I get vertigo when I bend over and these were missing on the bottom. I paid nearly 500 dollars with the tax. When I got home and started cleaning the dust off them I noticed the missing pieces. Called and was not treated very kindly. There was no " AS IS" on the price tag, reputable businesses do that. They asked me to send photos, I did, and a week later I have heard nothing. Texted a second time, nothing. I've bought a lot there, but won't go back. They do not value good customers, are not honest and zero integrity. Buyer beware. These were from a booth called Classic vendors or something, way in the back. Check things over closely, they will take your money for damaged items and not blink an eye. read more

This is a huge vendor/ Consignment Store. It has lots & lots of great things large & small for the home. It is booth orientated with individual owners. Be prepared to spend at least a couple of hours here browsing & watch the pricing & the origination of some pieces. You can get wonderful finds but there are also items here that came from places like Marshall's & TJMAXX. So be careful. I love it here & when I have the time I come. My favorite re-sale/antique store. I don't think i have ever walked out empty handed. Great selection and variety - knickknacks, books, furniture, art, accent pieces - it's all here. Usually well-staffed with friendly help that is willing to get hard to reach pieces and call vendors to check prices/possibilities for discounts. Prices vary from steals to WTH are they thinking but for the most part are fair. Lots of parking and convenient location. They are unable to help with large pieces but have the numbers of several people that will help and can deliver. read more

Love, love, love this store BUT if you pick up some items, do not let the employees take them to hold them at the front. I made this mistake after I got asked 3 times and one of my items got gone.
