Mt. P Towne Center is a one stop shop for shopping, dining, and entertainment! It is a great outdoor shopping area like Tanger Outlet. The entire area is well maintained and attractive. Theu have a Regal movie theater and plenty of parking throughout the complex. Shops include Belks, Barnes and Noble, Old Navy, and Lush. Restaurants include PF Changs, TGI Fridays, and Burtons. The best attraction is Live Music Under the Oaks every Thursday in May and October! read more

Can't speak enough praises for this town center! They have a great variety of self care spots, restaurants, and businesses to appeal to all ages. I particularly enjoy during October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month the annual Pink Promenade Fashion Show which benefits cancer patients. 100% of proceeds are donated to the Roper St. Francis Foundation. All models strut their fine self and showcase some local boutiques at the Mount Pleasant Town Center. Nell's Florals came by and taught us how to make our own flower crowns as well! Also in October there's the SWEAT Fitness Series sponsored by Athleta. Every Wednesday there's a chance to attend free workout class in the grassy pavilion area. I've done Lowcountry Yoga and Rock Box Fitness classes. It can range from challenging to relaxing, just listen to your body! Another perk was after class: they would hand out a free goodie and offer coupons for Athleta! Much to see, do, and celebrate at the MPTC! read more

When Mount Pleasant Towne Centre was built over 20 years ago, I was in high school. Folks said no one would drive this far north for a mall. Today, Mount Pleasant Towne Centre is far from a "mall". Over the last ten years, Towne Centre has exploded, with a Hyatt Place and a parking garage onsite. The parking garage has electric car chargers, perfect for when you're in the movie theatre, shopping, or dining. It's a happening event spot with fundraisers for Charleston Animal Society, outdoor workout classes, and live music outside in the Spring and Summer. The retailers are all open-air, with large stores like Belk but also smaller boutiques like Lizard's Thicket and Palmetto Moon. The quality of restaurants has also improved- Savi Cucina, Cava, and Malika Pakistani restaurant are all here, and Jeni's Ice Cream opens later this year. This is the high-end shopping center in Mt. Pleasant, but most stores are reasonable for families too. Skip the Charleston-area malls and come here! read more

You don't always think about how great Towne Centre is as a whole until you visit other malls or shopping centers. Considering Mt P doesn't have a traditional shopping mall, this would be the closest thing to it. The great thing is that it's way better than all the malls in the area. Yes, your have to walk a little further between stores and it sucks if it's raining, but I usually only need to make a stop or two anyway. Plus, it's usually beautiful weather so the pros on that out weigh the cons. The stores are always relevant and updated instead of slowly failing and sitting empty for months. I wish they had a few more restaurants that weren't mega chains, but they fit the bill for being in a shopping plaza and I do have an undying love for Q'doba. I drive out of my way to go to their movie theater and the new parking deck makes it easier than ever to find a spot. Take a minute next time you're there to check out how well the grounds are kept and the display for Christmas is second to the festival of lights. It also has a few local shops. The entire area is well maintained and always pretty. Restaurants, including Burton's and P.F. Chang's, line the outskirts of the shopping center. There are also some mixed in with the shops, including Atlanta Bread and Zoes Kitchen. There's a movie theater. There's plenty of parking throughout the complex. read more

Nice variety of stores, and very walkable, combination of a few strips of stores but also larger stores like Belks. Didn't eat at any of the stores during our visit but looks to be a variety of options in that respect as well, plus some of the other add ons like hotel, movie, etc. There are a couple local stores as well. The perfect spot for dining, shopping and festivities that is getting too big to manage. I have always been challenged driving through the maze of parking, roundabouts and unique sections of this mall structure. Now they are building a Hyatt Place and parking garage to add more complexity to this structure. The stores are immaculate. You won't find a cleaning mall structure and such a intense variety of mid level and high end stores and dining. You can lose yourself in Towne Center (For crying out loud, Belk has two buildings). Throw in a Bed, Bath and Beyond, Victoria's Secret, Gap and a multitude of local specialty stores and you are set. This place has it all, but note, it can be challenging to make your way through. Oh yeah, a movie theater to boot. read more

This is a nice, outdoor shopping center. It is anchored by a recently renovated Belk. I often go there because they carry Lilly Pulitzer. Belk is also next to another preppy favorite, Palmetto Moon. This is a busy shopping center and I hope that draws more stores and restaurants to the area (Cheesecake Factory, I'm talking to you!). read more

For the restaurants, you are also sure to find something to your liking...so many options. It is perfect for a day out to walk around, browse, and grab some lunch. There's plenty of parking too. If you have to go to a mall, make it the Mount Pleasant Towne Centre. It's an open-air style space with plenty of parking and a variety of dining and shopping options. It's convenient to 526 as well as Isle of Palms. Note that the Belk here is higher-end than I've seen at other malls, so it's a nice improvement. read more

What a great improvement on the old Malls which have fallen into disfavor. Open air and some great shops both local and chains. I wish the Belk was not split up like it is but that is just a personal thing. They keep the place up very well and they have plenty of parking and good entrances and exits. During Christmas it seems that most of this is not correct but trust me it is amazing with the amount of people there that you could even find a place but always a spot after some looking. I think this is a great location and easy to find regardless of what area in town you are. Overall a great shopping destination. read more

I will start out by complementing the way that this shopping center is laid out and the quaintness of the buildings and the feeling of being in a little town. The new parking garage is great. However, the shopping selection for me as a male in his 20's is pretty much non-existant. They used to have an American Eagle, but they lost it. Did they raise rent too high? I dont know. I have nothing wrong with the look and feel of Towne Center, but i dont have anywhere to shop. Of course, this is just my taste in shopping. They have many stores that tend to many people, but they need to reach out and try to get some "hip" stores for people in their 20's. read more

I went to the farmers market that is in here and I was pretty disappointed. There were a total of seven booths and they did not have very much to offer. Of the seven two of them were produce booths. I was happy with this until I saw the price and the quality of the produce. Overall I was not very happy with this farmers market compared to the one that is DownTown. One of the booths did not know how to work there debit and credit card machine. When it comes to the shops there is a descent amount but they lack some of the more common stores. They have a Barnes and Noble which is nice but nothing else really stands out. read more

In years past I would have given this shopping center 5 stars but I am finally writing to say they don't even deserve this one star! Maybe a negative 5 stars! What is wrong with a shopping center that builds a hotel in the middle, takes up all the parking, creates a huge mess, inconveniences shoppers, closes off roads (at Christmas? WTF???), makes it difficult to shop, and worst of all, jeopardizes business for tenants? The Wine Cellar, a great shop, I no longer visit as regularly as I once did due to parking issues. Cycle Bar, loved that place, I won't go back until construction is over, not worth getting whistled at and hooted at and yelled at by idiot construction workers, no wonder the work is still not finished. Apricot Lane Boutique, I feel for you, my last visit was my last visit, I know you can't help it, I feel for you too! And don't get me started on Stella Nova! My favorite business, I'll try you again but my visit yesterday was almost as bad as my last 3 visits! No parking, construction traffic, closed road, dumbass construction people blocking my car, made me wait for 5 minutes while they moved a crane thing, late for my appointment and I am NEVER late! It seems like to landlord does not care about these businesses, so sad:-( Why are they at least not cleaning up around there? After my visit to Stella I went to NAPA, love that place, could not believe how dirty it looked! I commented on this and they said its from all the construction and they mentioned how bad it has been for business as well, I can only imagine! Shame on the landlord! read more

This place is my go to if I need to do a little shopping at some chain stores. They offer a lot of retail options, several restaurants, and a movie theater. There's just enough there to keep me coming back. I also like that there's a mix of chain stores (belk, Ulta, gap, old navy, etc) as well as more local boutiques (teal, style exchange, copper penny). There's truly something there for everyone in every price range. The layout can be a little strange to get used to and it's easy to forget that some of the stores further away exist. So if this is your first time here, look at the directory to make sure you hit all of the stores that you want. But overall I like this outdoor mall. read more

Best place to shop in town. Great for mulling around skipping or window shopping. Plenty of parking with the new parking deck. Upscale outdoor mall. Kids love coming for the day, and we get exercise so that's a bonus. read more
