One of my outdoor interests is kayaking and this place had a direct pipeline to Current Designs and Wenonah Canoe (top-of-the-line canoe and kayak manufacturers here in town) Through the work of Mike L., Avery P., Jacob C. and other wonderful staff here, I purchased my first kayak and other related paddling gear. But, I also learned a lot about how to use the gear and what to buy/not buy for my skill level. Just today, got an incredible deal on a carbon Werner kayak paddle. The staff is knowledgable and friendly and the store stocks excellent high-quality brand-name outdoor gear/active clothing. It was funny to me to find out the store was more well-known as a clothes shop vs. as a camping/climbing store (like REI). But, it has it all, and if they don't have it, then ask, because they can probably order it in. For those folks who don't run triathlons or scale mountains every weekend, this place still has something to offer.
