Drifty's was a good choice for canoe rental down the Kickapoo River, while camping nearby. I called…read moreahead a few days to reserve and Drifty's staff is pretty low key. "What's your name?" I gave my full first and last name "We'll just put it under (last name), as we get a lot of Kyles" (Quizzical silence on my end, since I gave my first and last name, which is not at all a common combination lol) We wanted to do the shortest trip to the Park Landing, but staff said we had to pick an exact time to be picked up at that Landing. (It was our first time there what would we know about an exact trip time?). All that aside, I made it easy on all of us and chose pickup at Bridge 5, and pickup there around the 3 hour mark was easy breezy. We really enjoyed our river trip! The River was pretty shallow in some places, and it was fun weaving through the Lazy River Inner Tube crowds. There's a lot of river between Bridge 4 and 5, everyone was wondering if they had missed it Bridge 5. Do set aside some time to beach up and drink up! Drifty's for the win!

I've been canoeing on the Kickapoo for years and have been a loyal customer of Drifty's. Prices are…read moreextremely reasonable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We've had nothing but positive experiences with them. You launch into the river right there, and they pick you up wherever you choose to take out (pre-arranged location). They're prompt with pickup and even offer to give you extra time if you want to go slower on the river. The last time we went they were out of seat backs, and one of the staff members let me use his personal one! Now *that* is great service! Most of the traffic on the river seems to be between Drifty's and Wildcat Mountain. The river gets pretty busy on the weekends. Beyond Bridge 5 the traffic seems to really die down and you can experience some peace and quiet.

Gg We rented a…read morehouseboat for 4 days with six guys. It was an amazing experience. The boat had everything you need for a comfortable voyage. For example, the kitchen was better equipped than many Airbnb rentals I've stayed at. SS Rentals staff was so professional. We've never piloted a boat that big before. It felt intimidating until Bob walked us thru the process. Even navigating the lock was a piece of cake. The scenery and wildlife was out of this world. I just can't say enough good things about SS Rentals or our experience.

The kids (adult kids) had a great time fishing and we caught a ton of fish. I called a few days before the trip and the very nice lady answered all our questions. The new owner was very accommodating and hands on. He was the guy adding oil to the engines and fueling the boat. Gotta love a hands in owner. Only suggestion is to bring more food and beverages and worms than you think. There isn't any place to stop and pick up needed items. If you have a small fishing boat, bring it! You can catch fish from a houseboat, but it is limited. Bring a Bluetooth speaker. There is a sound system but radio only. You should do this!

He's skilled in both traditional and Spey casting, and guides on both tiny Wi spring creeks for trout, and larger Great Lakes tributaries for Salmon and Steelhead. His focus is on teaching, a day spent streamside with Bob will not only be a fun fishing experience, but will improve your fishing skill and knowledge for future solo trips. You get a lot more than a grip and grin fish experience with Bob. I can't say enough good things about him- he's the best. If you're interested in Fly fishing in Wi, a guided trip with Bob should be something you consider- he's rare class act who really knows what he's doing- no faking!
