The observation car was stunning while the light lasted and gave a good destination for twitchy legs. Snack and bar cart downstairs did us right too. Cost effective and a solid alternative to flying or driving.

We got Club Deck tickets, where we got unlimited food, soft drinks, and 3 adult beverages. Good deal, good seats. The Loggers didn't play too well this game, but the biggest downfall was the Ballpark DJ. This person played music between every pitch...every...pitch. It was overstimulating and made the game unenjoyable halfway through. You couldn't just enjoy the game. The playlist was small, on repeat, and just not reading the room well. The announcer was on top of his game, though and helpful with live and between-innings updates.

It doesn't seem to help to complain about anything. Prices are going up and a lot of portions are getting smaller. Certain items we just stopped buying. The soft pretzels are good, but they changed the cheese last year. It's now a white cheese that tastes terrible. I'm sure they went with a cheaper brand. The chicken breast fillets used to be good, but this year they're smaller and dry. The popcorn is good, when it isn't too salty and the price went way up. Cheese curds and onion rings are in very small portions and average about a dollar for each piece of food. We wouldn't mind paying about money if the portions were a decent size. Not happy and not going to buy a lot of that stuff anymore. One thing I find hilarious is the over priced ice cream cones. There have been a lot of regulars at the games who stopped buying them as of last year. You get a small cone with no ice cream in it at all and the so-called one scoop is more like a half a scoop, perched on top of the cone. We've started to eat our meals before we go to the game, when before, we always had our dinner at the game. Costs a lot less, tastes better, and saves us a lot of money!

Some emails on my LTE hotspot, making breakfast, drinking coffee, and doing a little bit of repair on the inside of the van. Four-wheeler parking is right next to the truck parking so you'll have them idling all night but other than that, this is a quiet and peaceful rest area. Not sure what to do then suddenly we came to this campground. I really don't care what the amenities are but will they allow us to pop our tent. We decide to check into it. Upon entering we are greeted and I explain what I am looking for. The gentleman said that's fine because that's all he's got and there's only 2 left. I take one. He tells me during the summer he's 100% before the year begins because of the activities available there. The spot is not too far from the office. I'm sweating hot. We pick a spot and start setting up. M has gone camping but doesn't seem to have had much experience. That's one of the reasons why I decided we would camp all the way down until Las Vegas. I have her help me setup the tent but because we're in a rush to get it done before it gets really dark it's me doing all of it. Mosquitoes are showing up. We spray ourselves. I take my shirt off because it's dripping sticky with my sweat making it almost unbearable. I get the job done and it's pitch black. I decide to go take a shower. It felt so good to feel clean again. If you watch the show NAKED AND AFRAID, and you see how they are always getting a million bites by so many bugs. I know what that's like, literally. My back and legs were bitten over and over it was sick to look at. In the morning, M wanted to count the bites as she put another round of nail polish remover. We tried everything last night and found that worked best. It stung like crazy but it worked to alleviate the itch. I don't recommend doing that unless you got a tolerance for pain. Anyway, I think she lost count after 150 or so. I don't ever want to go through that again. I wish I had a chance to enjoy this facility because it has some great outdoor activities. You have to bring your own equipment, machines and gear but they provide all the basic necessities for what ever hook up you need.
