I called them in a panic, after the sudden loss of my mother in-law. I had searched many other funeral homes, and had become discouraged due to finances and most places being strictly about getting their money and sending you out the door. Distinctive Life staff was both professional and compassionate towards our family. Mr. Scott was available to speak with us any time we needed him, and answered any and every question we had. He went above and beyond in helping us plan a beautiful graveside ceremony to lay our mom to rest. The person I worked with (Tracy Allen) at SMART Cremations was very knowledgeable and showed great respect for my needs. I was given several options and feel like my choice will fully meet my family needs. To top off the level of service, the company highly respects veterans and helped provide all the necessary documents in advance that would be needed for VA burial benefits. Having peace of mind knowing that my family won't have to make these decisions is a great relief to me, just wish I would have done it sooner.

My dad was raised Catholic but converted to Baptist when he married my mother. so when I buried him here I had to get permission from his family(weird) and some other authorities!
