Then, they went back and got her in the morning and nurtured her while we were gone. I could not have asked for better care for Caroline. Then I go to pay and the staff felt so bad. I was in a bind, emergency out of town and had to board both of my dogs for 7 weeks and this was…read morethe "homiest" kennel I found in the area. One dog was very old and sick when I brought him in, and they took amazing care of him. When it became apparent he wasn't going to make it (and I knew that was a distinct possibility when I brought him in) they rushed him to the vet, and on his last day, visited him there out of sheer good will and concern, to say goodbye to him. They gave his "sister" extra love and support and walks because she was so distraught and needed extra attention. They went above and beyond the call of duty, walk the dogs so much, and are so full of compassion for the animals, it is clearly not "just a job" for them! The animals are well exercised and their rates are incredibly reasonable. It was distressing to leave my animals anywhere for so long (really, I am not a bad dog mammy!) sometimes life just throws you a curveball and I am grateful to them for helping me through the difficult times. Won't go anywhere else!

We boarded our English bulldog for four nights while we went on a camping trip in the Adirondacks…read more We were nervous about boarding him at our local spot in Manhattan during Covid-19, and found this place through a good review on Yelp. When we spoke with Karen she explained that they only board 7 dogs at a time, and take care to reduce health risks. Our bulldog had a great time, with lots of one-on-one time to play with the owners and other dogs boarding. Also a plus is that their fees are so much more reasonable than kennels in Manhattan. When we visit the area again we will definitely return to Maple Lawn B&B.

I don't know if their dogs are perfect but man was I made to feel horrible. Would not pay ever again to have my dog in a fenced in area in a garage filled with other dogs. Didn't meet the husband but the wife was enough. If you really want a good space for your dog please check out Milton Manor near Saratoga where your dog will have its own private shed. That way if your dog is barking during times the owner doesn't approve maybe she can just tune it out.
