They gave me a muzzle, with peanut butter on it, to secure on Buddy. Then we loosely covered his head with a towel; while I kept talking to him and petting his head. All the vets have been great about answering our questions, addressing our concerns, and giving us a range of options for our pets - especially our senior dog with arthritis, who hasn't had great luck with NSAIDS. Our kitten had some complications with her spay, and then we poked her in the eye trying to give her antibiotic pills, so we ended up coming in here 5 times in 2 weeks just for her. She's all good now, but the vet and front desk were awesome - everyone always had great attitudes, and the vets were super helpful. They were also complete dears about bribing our kitten with tasty treats so she wouldn't get too traumatized about vet visits. The clinical and support staff here are just as great...and believe me, we put them through their paces. They're not the closest. Their not the fanciest. But they are the best!

We were charged $250 for a spray for my dog, which is not worked at all in the past four years. Twice a year, my dog has bad allergies so we come in for a pill also, his nails clipped and his anal gland squeezed. None of these performances were done. We were charged an excessive amount of money and they still haven't even told me what it's over asked for an itemized receipt twice now, and the people have hung up on me because I use the term that my dog is still licking his butt like a motherfucker. So sorry they're virgin ears have never heard anyone swear before, didn't swear at them, but I should've because this is absolutely atrocious to charge someone that amount of money and not do one of the things they asked for in their normal two times a year visit. We spent $250 for a spray that doesn't even freaking work that I just looked up cost 10-15 $ depending on the store & now since it's been multiple days my poor dog is in distress & they're telling I now have to wait till Monday cause that's when the other vet comes in. THE ONE WE NEVER EVEN SEEN ONCE BEFORE. They should be ashamed with this disgusting behavior & basically fraud service.

Here are the positives about this place..Dr. Linendoll who I believe is the owner of the practice really is a fabulous vet and the times we saw her she was spot on with everything, but in the last few years she's owned the practice, I can count on one hand how many times I've actually gotten to see her. So needless to say either she's not available or not there enough to see her only which would keep me there. Also, Marlene at the desk is quite good and very nice and typically gets everything right, but it's just not enough to keep me there with the rest of the subpar healthcare my pets receive and when their lives depend on these people, I had to make the right decision and move them out of there.

I booked my two dogs and dropped them off between 9-10AM on Wednesday (8/11). I picked them up on Friday (8/19) between 9-10AM. If you count it up this is 9 nights or 9 full days. However I was charged for ten days?!. When I asked Don the owner how this could be he said they bill by "calendar days"?! He confirmed I was charged for Friday despite picking them up during their morning pick-up hours. So I asked him hypothetically if I dropped my dogs off at 9AM today and picked them up at 9AM tomorrow (24 hours!) would I be billed for two days and he said I would because it is "two calendar days". I've used many kennels and NO ONE has ever tried this scam but per Don because it is their policy they feel they can get away with it. At $60 per dog this meant after tax I was overcharged $132. This kennel looks a bit run down and is out of the way so plenty to chose from and avoid this money grab. Also I called immediately after I noticed the overcharge and he took 4 "calendar days" to call me back. AVOID THIS PLACE!

We normally board at our vet but they were booked up. Our dog was boarded in a Townhouse. It had a very good size run which I'm sure our dog loved as he doesn't get such freedoms at home. Over all I would say the place was decent. That being said, the hours to pick up are very short. They only take cash. My two main complaints are the following: We boarded for two night and the bill came to $237. Yep you read that right TWO HUNDERD AND THIRTY SEVEN DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!! I was shocked. I said it is only $55 a day. He responds, "that's right a day. A calendar day." Now to me that is shifty as that is not on the website. I have been boarding my dog about 7 times a year for the 4 years I have had him. I have never paid anywhere per calendar day. OK well live and learn right? Get home and the dog STINKS. Just think of going to an elderly persons house that hasn't been opened to air out in decades. Mildew I think but not sure. The stink did not go away. A week later we went to Shampoodle to wash the stink off of him. So I would say if you are in a pinch I feel my dog was happy there. But I would do my best to not have to use them again.
