Before our first scheduled sit, we had a get to know you meeting with the sitter and my dog, and they were beyond helpful and eased all of my worries. They take detailed notes on the specific needs of my dog, and take the time to really understand how to best care for her. My dog has some separation anxiety, and I'm sure it doesn't help that I'm a helicopter mom, but the sitter did an amazing job looking after her and she is so happy to see them each time! At the end of each visit, they send a recap of how it went and send pictures! It's almost as detailed as a kiddo's daycare recap (I have compared haha). It makes me so happy to see my girl happy when I'm away!

We miss Amber as well and are happy to hear that her vet doesn't have any concerns. That being said, daycare can be extremely active, and messy as well during play (when pools are out, mud, etc), and we would never want Amber to get further hurt or sick in a vulnerable state. Due to her extreme and sudden onset of medical issues, we feel as a team that we can no longer provide the level of specific care Amber needs at this time. As much as we would love to continue seeing her, we feel that it would not be the best decision for her medically. I appreciate your understanding, I apologize for the inconvenience, and wish you all the best. WTF??? Is upper management now veterinarians too? Who are you to override a veterinary clearance? We thought that is why you have EVERYONE sign a waiver which releases you from liability. What we see here is ageism plain & simple - you do not want to attend to a senior dog who can walk, run & play because you have no staff and cannot be bothered oh, by the way, this is after we, as loyal clients did not sue you after our dog was severely attacked at daycare by a bully dog who had only just joined. Yes, we are loyal clients, we came back, we recommended you to others, you used our dog as a test dog for meets & greets with potential new clients! We have never been in arrears for payment, oh wait, we actually paid in advance! This is NOT how you treat clients! We had a person who would stay in the house for several years with them. However, she retired, so we were left trying other boarding facilities. Our pups always came how smelling awful from the stark conditions in which they were boarded. Our new pups have only been boarded at one other place, which we did not care for, so based on a recommendation from our niece, we called Alex and Alena for boarding for our recent vacation. It turned out to be the best call ever. They are the new owners who recently took over the operation, which is fantastic. We were escorted on a tour of the facilities and blown away. A huge play area where they provide daycare and dogs can mingle. Boarding accommodations are excellent, with beds and exceptionally clean, climate control, and even ceiling fans. You would never know they had been boarded when we picked them up. They were clean and didn't have that boarded odor. The best part for us is that the operation is at their home. Unlike other places, they don't lock up and leave the pups overnight. They are there! They play, walk, and care for the dogs every day. They are truly caring and amazing people. We wish them many years of success and look forward to boarding with them whenever we leave. In fact, we already booked our next visit. In our opinion, there are not enough stars in the universe to award them with!

Beware there is no such thing as a one day stay with this kennel and no matter what if your pet…read morestays overnigh they will automatically charge you for two days (and it is expensive!) I booked my two dogs and dropped them off between 9-10AM on Wednesday (8/11). I picked them up on Friday (8/19) between 9-10AM. If you count it up this is 9 nights or 9 full days. However I was charged for ten days?!. When I asked Don the owner how this could be he said they bill by "calendar days"?! He confirmed I was charged for Friday despite picking them up during their morning pick-up hours. So I asked him hypothetically if I dropped my dogs off at 9AM today and picked them up at 9AM tomorrow (24 hours!) would I be billed for two days and he said I would because it is "two calendar days". I've used many kennels and NO ONE has ever tried this scam but per Don because it is their policy they feel they can get away with it. At $60 per dog this meant after tax I was overcharged $132. This kennel looks a bit run down and is out of the way so plenty to chose from and avoid this money grab. Also I called immediately after I noticed the overcharge and he took 4 "calendar days" to call me back. AVOID THIS PLACE!

We normally board at our vet but they were booked up. Our dog was boarded in a Townhouse. It had a very good size run which I'm sure our dog loved as he doesn't get such freedoms at home. Over all I would say the place was decent. That being said, the hours to pick up are very short. They only take cash. My two main complaints are the following: We boarded for two night and the bill came to $237. Yep you read that right TWO HUNDERD AND THIRTY SEVEN DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!! I was shocked. I said it is only $55 a day. He responds, "that's right a day. A calendar day." Now to me that is shifty as that is not on the website. I have been boarding my dog about 7 times a year for the 4 years I have had him. I have never paid anywhere per calendar day. OK well live and learn right? Get home and the dog STINKS. Just think of going to an elderly persons house that hasn't been opened to air out in decades. Mildew I think but not sure. The stink did not go away. A week later we went to Shampoodle to wash the stink off of him. So I would say if you are in a pinch I feel my dog was happy there. But I would do my best to not have to use them again.
