One dog was very old and sick when I brought him in, and they took amazing care of him. When it became apparent he wasn't going to make it (and I knew that was a distinct possibility when I brought him in) they rushed him to the vet, and on his last day, visited him there out of sheer good will and concern, to say goodbye to him. They gave his "sister" extra love and support and walks because she was so distraught and needed extra attention. They went above and beyond the call of duty, walk the dogs so much, and are so full of compassion for the animals, it is clearly not "just a job" for them! The animals are well exercised and their rates are incredibly reasonable. It was distressing to leave my animals anywhere for so long (really, I am not a bad dog mammy!) sometimes life just throws you a curveball and I am grateful to them for helping me through the difficult times. Won't go anywhere else!

Then, they went back and got her in the morning and nurtured her while we were gone. I could not have asked for better care for Caroline. Then I go to pay and the staff felt so bad. When we spoke with Karen she explained that they only board 7 dogs at a time, and take care to reduce health risks. Our bulldog had a great time, with lots of one-on-one time to play with the owners and other dogs boarding. Also a plus is that their fees are so much more reasonable than kennels in Manhattan. When we visit the area again we will definitely return to Maple Lawn B&B.

Everyone from the receptionists, groomer, technicians, and doctors are willing to take the time to explain and educate what options are available. As all professional veterinary care can get quite costly, Mount Anthony is also fairly priced compared to what I've heard from other pet owners who have faced similar procedures and services.

Dog beds, leashes, collars, food (both high quality kibble as well as raw), cat food and toys, you name it, she has it! As you walk in you can see her wall of clients and ribbons and awards from her own dogs who also happen to roam the store. It's nice and cozy and you can ask her any old thing, she can help you! She also runs a small but nice doggie daycare in her building. Your dog will be treated like a star! Don't forget she can groom them too... let's just get everything done while we're there.
