I bring my dog here while I go to work Monday through Friday for the last five months and…read moreoccasionally board her. I take her pulling me down the driveway and frantic tail wagging as approval. Julie and Mike are always very helpful and accommodating. Their prices are reasonable and give us specialty pricing when we go for five days total each week. They both love my pup and honestly go above and beyond the call of duty. AND Julie is a licensed vet tech so I feel so safe knowing that she is there to watch over my girl. When I first did all the paperwork, there's also a clause where, if an emergency arises, they can seek vet treatment up to the dollar amount you specify. The attention to detail and level of care is like no other. When I have to stay at work late, I text them and they're fine with keeping her for a bit longer. I work at a school so they also are fine when I have unexpected snow days or delays. Their drop off hours start at 6:30, which is perfect for us. We're there every day by 6:45. When we first started going, my pup was 5 months old and still needed lunch. We also feed a raw diet and I was so pleased that not only were they fine with this, they had a refrigerator on site to hold her food in, and Julie has asked me questions about what I'm feeding. The interest is absolutely genuine and I love that opportunity to converse about canine nutrition. They also accept titers in place of annual vaccinations, which is important for me as I don't care for unnecessary vaccinating if titer levels show that the dogs are still protected. They recently remodeled all their indoor play pens and added a few more. The whole look has definitely improved and is much more welcoming. Their demeanor is just as wonderful to the dogs as to the owners. I absolutely plan to continue bringing my girl here for the next several years. The level of service and passion for their jobs is like no other place I've seen in this area.

Julie loves Renny and the feeling is very much mutual. She always tells us how much she enjoys him. We highly recommend Room for Paws!

Armando Morales is an exceptional person and compassionate, knowledgeable dog trainer. I have…read morekept in touch with him since moving from NY to FL over two years ago and have visited him when in Saratoga. I am "mom" to Obie (Olaf, the Cemetery Dog), who spent the winter of 2014-15 trying to survive in St. John's Cemetery in Troy. (Google: VIMEO Meet Olaf from Out of the Pits) Armando's last email included the following: "Some dogs are lifelong projects and the work is a process, not a quick-fix solution". Along with specific training tools/techniques, this type of thinking allowed me to work with Obie to become the best he could be, not the best I wanted him to be. Obie is who he is and I have acknowledged that in certain areas, he cannot "give" anymore. He is very dog-reactive (having been attacked four times-once in a vet's office); he will never have play-dates. He is afraid of the wind and loud noises. He hates birds (they ate his food in the cemetery). Overall, Obie is always attuned to his surroundings, as if waiting for the next shoe to drop. Armando helped me to accept these challenges and we worked on recognizing triggers during walks, long-leash training (Obie initially wouldn't go more than a few feet away from my side), helping him to gain confidence in different settings, how to avoid stress by eliminating things in our home. I know I can text/email Armando anytime and get a response. I cannot recommend his methods or advice more highly, or his value to me as friend.

He has given us practical exercises that have been easy to apply and, best of all, have made an improvement within a very short time. Armando has been very patient with our questions and concerns.
