When we spoke with Karen she explained that they only board 7 dogs at a time, and take care to reduce health risks. Our bulldog had a great time, with lots of one-on-one time to play with the owners and other dogs boarding. Also a plus is that their fees are so much more reasonable than kennels in Manhattan. Gave us some meds for diarrhea (flagyl-which I love!) and something to try to stop the vomiting (which is pretty random). We had a VERY nice meeting with him and are so relieved. But, mostly happy to have finally met him! We've been "patients" of GFAH since 1975 so it's nice to feel a confidence and familiarity with our Vet. Thank you, Dr. Kevin!

The door was unlocked, walked into the facility at 1:30 and was met rudely by a woman who informed me they opened at 2 pm and that it was on the door. Since I read online they opened at 1:30, I was not looking for any alternative time and did not see 2 pm notice. She briskly and rudely ushered me out the door. It was a blood clot she made it worse by giving him fluids, if she had listened to me when I first brought him in and treated him for a blood clot he most likely would have survived.
