Nice velvet like upholstery & marble-like table tops. I ordered a couple of cookies to snack on: biscoff & chocolate chip. Plus a bottle of water which was in a glass bottle. The cookies were okay. Not too sweet. But they were pretty ordinary tasting. The service was fine. There was a nice young man at the counter who took my order. Note though, there is no washroom at the cafe. So then I had to go find a washroom. LOL

You are able to grab a coffee while shopping in the store or just come by for a coffee, matcha, soft serve, or pastry (from Le Beau!) if you're feeling hungry or in need of caffeine. This is the only location in Toronto that has frozen treats - think soft serve, sundaes, and even affogatos! The space is fully accessible where they have their own separate entrance, despite them sharing a space with the clothing store. There is plenty of seating and the coffee bar is stylishly designed, just like their other locations across the GTA. The menu has a bit of everything for everyone from your classic espresso based drinks to specialty matcha drinks. For the soft serve they have vanilla and chocolate where you can also customize it to a sundae. They also have croissants and danishes if you are looking for food to go with your beverage. I stopped by A-OK Cafe on a Sunday around 10:30am to grab a drink. The space is modern and chic, where the mirrors in the space make it look that much bigger. It has a darker vibe to the rest of the store where it feels like you are in another world, rather than in an Aritzia store. I opted to grab an iced banana matcha latte. Staff were friendly and my drink was made at a reasonable time. They have water on tap that is self-serve if you need it. My iced banana matcha latte was good - I enjoyed the banana syrup and the foam on top. Overall, a chic and stylish cafe inside Aritzia where you can grab a drink, pastry, or soft serve while shopping! I didn't browse any of the clothes and came for the cafe experience this time. However, next time, I definitely would want to try the soft serve or sundaes to see how those taste as well.

I took my coffee outside to enjoy on their bench located in front of the store. The beverage was made well! I'd consider it as one of the better options around this part of Queen St. W. Overall, great coffee and friendly service!

4.5 stars ... this is really great coffee on a stretch that was previously empty of a good coffee…read morespot. Before, you'd either have to trek to Ossington or Parkdale... no more! I love discovering great coffee spots ... probably because those great spots are often filled with amazing owners or barista who are passionate about coffee. Finding these gems are so worthwhile and Major Treat fits in that category. This spot is unusual... you'd probably pass it not realizing it because it shares the spot with a barber shop. Really. Signage is discrete and the one thing that catches your eye is the fire engine red paint job on the exterior. The spot is really take away only. There are 3 stools with very little counter space that shares the barista area. This is the only teeny tiny knock on Major Treat... if they had an actual space, I may never leave. Part of the great experience is the barista ... his name is Campbell. If you get him, expect incredibly sincere & friendly service plus an amazing pull of espresso for your drink. Every person that went in got a smile, fist bump, or an expressive hello. He honestly knew most of the people walking in and half the people just dropped in to say hello. If this telling you that they have great service, I don't know. The drinks here have 2 options of beans... I appreciate that it's not just one. They do serve Cut Coffee (same as my other fave Tucana) and a new one from GTA, Pig Iron Coffee. Campbell was generous to offer us a shot of the Pig Iron just to taste the different notes. He said he liked the Cut Coffee better and after tasting both, I 200% agree. Flat White - Completely delicious... the espresso was bold and fruit forward. I loved it. It was very rich in flavour and a great balance to the milk. The microfoam was frothed nicely and just the right amount. It's one of my favourite in the city. 5/5 For those who are in the west end, I know it can be hard to find a great cup. With relatively new Major Treat on the border of Parkdale, you have a great option to get your kick of great coffee.

This little shop has its own charm with its merch, fresh baked goodies, and of course, incredible coffee. If you're not sure, just ask any of the friendly baristas for a recommendation!

I'm a lover of scones but unfortunately I found them to be a little hard even after heating so I'm thinking perhaps it wasn't fresh? Not sure, but the café is cute and the staff working there was very nice. Despite the thin cheesesticks, it was actually the item I liked most.
