they told me they would do a free diagnosis because the part that needed fixing was under warranty…read more I double checked multiple times to make sure it would be completely free and they said it would each time. Then they gave me my keys back and said it would be $80. Also they didn't even find or fix the problem. They didn't seem to really give a crap that I was there and they seemed quite annoyed that I was asking them to do their jobs. Also the part that was under warranty fell apart and they still won't fix it. Definitely steer clear! "Let's think about this for a sec, Ted, why do they put a guarantee on a box? Hmm, very interesting. Here's how I see it. A guy puts a guarantee on the box 'cause he wants you to fell all warm and toasty inside. 'Course it does. Ya think if you leave that box under your pillow at night, the Guarantee Fairy might come by and leave a quarter The point is, how do you know the Guarantee Fairy isn't a crazy glue sniffer? "Building model airplanes" says the little fairy, but we're not buying it. Next thing you know, there's money missing off the dresser and your daughter's knocked up, I seen it a hundred times. Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of s**t. That's all it is."

We took our car back in and they told us they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and to come pick it up. We asked for a list of tests they ran and the results. We got a small list but no results. A simple search from chat gpt told us what the problem could be and easy tests that could be run to confirm it. Two other mechanics confirmed that they could have run a simple test to confirm the head gasket was bad as well. Now we get to pay another mechanic to diagnose it and replace the head gasket after already wasting $900 with carsmart.
