But once the reservation was settled and we left the premise, they immediately informed us that the quotation was incorrect and that we would need to pay a higher amortization. I personally don't own a Benz, but I do play around with a 2013 C200 as my test vehicle. The service advisors here are quite friendly, and the mechanics really know their stuff. I brought the test car in to run on their dynamometer, because we wanted to test a few things on the Benz. They have a chassis dynamometer here, but I'm not sure about its availability to the public. In any case, I had a lot of questions about the capabilities of the C200, and they answered my questions without hesitation. I was pretty impressed with the way they were trained. Aside from the Mercedes-Benz brand, CATS Motors also deals American-made vehicles, namely Chrysler, Jeep and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Now, if you want to flaunt around that extra cash without having to go with the Japanese selection, CATS motors definitely deserves a visit.

Their staff is friendly, and easy to talk to when you need to make a service appointment. Even if you don't make a prior appointment, the guards at the gate are accommodating to walk-ins, and will direct you accordingly. There was one time when I got Miranda back from a repair job, and I didn't notice that they switched the wiring of my front and back wipers until I needed to use it (a week after I got the car). When I called to complain, they told me to just bring it in whenever I was available, and they'd take care of it, no problem. When I brought Miranda in, they took around 20 minutes after taking her inside the service area, and they fixed the problem, and released the car, with no charge to me. I am quite happy with the kind of service that they give to their customers. Their preventive maintenance prices are relatively cheap, and they even have a bullet service available (I think they charge a premium for this), which will get you and your car in and out of service within an hour.

Going to one shop for exterior and interior detailing, another for mechanical repairs, and yet another for engine concerns, and so on -- I just don't have the time, the patience, or the funds for it -- really, having several people work on your car will run you dry. But I digress. As I was saying, a one-stop-shop for cars is in order. A good one. When I found out that Ziebart now does more than just keep a "tidy car" for you, I got excited. No, really! They do everything now, from dent removal and paint jobs, to tune ups and mechanical parts replacement. That's basically everything you need to keep your car in shape, and they do everything in one very accessible place! (Of course they have several branches across the country, but the main one, in Pasong Tamo, happens to be the most convenient for me.) As early as 7 am, you will see the red shirts hanging out outside the establishment, waiting to assist people who pull up in their cars. Each one is polite, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. My go-to guy is Sir Mike. He listens to your concerns and assesses the entire car to make sure they cover what you may need when they give you a diagnosis and a cost estimate. He explains everything thoroughly, so you can decide whether you want to do everything all at once, or if you can afford to stagger the repairs so that your car doesn't sit there for too long at a time. Their rates are quite competitive, and you know that your car is safe even if you have to leave it there for days at a time. Needless to say my car and I have been back a couple of times, and each time we drive away satisfied. Oh, and did I mention they offer instalment payments for big purchases made through your credit card? :-)
