I personally don't own a Benz, but I do play around with a 2013 C200 as my test vehicle. The service advisors here are quite friendly, and the mechanics really know their stuff. I brought the test car in to run on their dynamometer, because we wanted to test a few things on the Benz. They have a chassis dynamometer here, but I'm not sure about its availability to the public. In any case, I had a lot of questions about the capabilities of the C200, and they answered my questions without hesitation. I was pretty impressed with the way they were trained. Aside from the Mercedes-Benz brand, CATS Motors also deals American-made vehicles, namely Chrysler, Jeep and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Now, if you want to flaunt around that extra cash without having to go with the Japanese selection, CATS motors definitely deserves a visit.

It took a while for me to talk to somebody who could speak fluent english and when I asked them when I could test drive the Avanza, they said they needed to check. After a few minutes they said they didn't have a test driving model available. When I asked them if they expect me to buy the car without a test drive, they try to persuade me to test drive the innova or vios... hello...what? In the end they recommended me to test drive the avanza somewhere else e.g. Makati and then when I like it just come back to them to buy it. I'm not sure why I want to do that. Poor service.

But once the reservation was settled and we left the premise, they immediately informed us that the quotation was incorrect and that we would need to pay a higher amortization. As a first-time car owner, I have a lot of questions, and they seem really, really patient with me no matter how many dumb questions I ask. I also love that they underpromise, but overdeliver. Just this morning I was told that my car would be ready by 3, and then got a text by 2pm that it was ready to be picked up. Inside the dealership there are a handful of couches and armchairs, and a big screen TV just in case you have to wait. But if my experience is any indication, you probably won't be waiting too long.
