I got a call and was told that my truck was given to someone else and that they are working on finding me another truck. I waited several hours and never heard from Penske so I called them back. The gentleman that I talked with told me they were still working on getting me a truck. He also told me that he would call me back the same day and give me an update. Three days later I still have not heard anything. I called them to see what was going on and the same guy that was helping before answered the phone. He again tells me that they still do not have a truck for me. No explanation as to why they have not called me back or even found a truck for my company to use. I guess I will take my business else where. Thanks for nothing.

Tim the local representative needs to be retrained and requires a professional attitude when dealing with customer problems. In addition to the truck not having an operational liftgate, which was not inspected and repaired prior to rental, there was a loss of income and an exorbitant amount of wasted time. The manager (John) was confrontational at the end in an effort to try not to resolve the losses associated with the defective equipment (had to bring it all way back to the office for repair, my paid roadside service was useless/only basic repairs. A mobile mechanic at the office?)! John the manager had me waiting 2+ hours for a repair due to a lack of communication/ coordination between himself and the mobile mechanic. Not only was I not given an estimated invoice prior to renting the truck, upon arrival Tim tried to change the agreement and increase the cost! It was just a horrible business experience from start to finish.

Called their corporate they said $5.99 for roadside a day plus collision which was $31.xx a day. I wanted the van for 2 weeks, You do the math.. At that price they're looking for you on one trip to buy them a new truck to go on their rental lot. LOL. I'd rent some horses and hook them to a wagon before I rented anything from budget or ANY of these rental places (which I shopped around) Over $3,500 to rent a van for just a drive around the country. But when you try to get that $20, they then change the terms and say they have to be the exact same dimensions and you also have to go purchase the other boxes and bring the boxes and receipt to them. They will do anything to NOT HONOR their guarantee! over $20 worth of boxes. If this is how the move is starting with U-Haul, not sure if I want to get the rest of our boxes & truck from them. The employees in the store did not even know the guarantee was written on the box when they have 1000 boxes in the store.

Neighborhood Storage is TERRIBLE! The secured gates at 2 locations are either broken and stay open…read morefor months.or broken and won't open for days!
