I used to come here over 10 years ago when Moto Club was on Lincoln, and it took a long time to find a mechanic I trusted. Back then, Moto Club was excellent when Victor owned it and when Chris and the rest of the original team were there. Management changed last year after Victor sold the business, and the difference is obvious. All of the previous employees left, and after my experience, I can understand why. The new owner was rude and unwelcoming. I was completely ignored until another employee noticed I had been waiting and finally acknowledged me. The mechanic I briefly interacted with seemed friendly, but that was the only positive part of the visit. When I got home, I discovered my license plate holder had been replaced with Moto Club plates without my permission. When I called to complain, I was told that "some mechanics do that," instead of receiving a proper apology. That is unacceptable. On top of the poor service, they overcharge. I've since found another nearby mechanic who charges significantly less, is personable, and trustworthy. I feel completely confident leaving my bike with him. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE & SERVICE- DO NOT GO This dealership quoted me one price. Once my bike got in they started recommending services that my bike didn't even need. They charge me for things I didn't even authorize. The customer service was terrible. I left my helmet attached to the bike they gave me my bike back WITH NO HELMET (1400 SHOEI HELMET) I HAD TO CALL THE POLICE TO GET MY HELMET BACK. The owner Jeremy was no help at all. He actually kicked me out the shop. Saying he didn't like my tone. Denying that they had my helmet. Entire time the did!! They sent me three different invoices none of the numbers matched, showing that they fabricate the numbers. I was clearly overcharged. Lastly, our order parts I was charged for parts & Labor, and they never sent the parts. Out of all of this, they never made any attempt to accommodate me, this was my first time ever going to this dealership, and this is how they treat first time customers SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND SEARCH FOR A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP. This was my maddening experience with Moto Club LA. Since my experience was so different from the others posted here, and since it was a function of many frustrations over a period of time (i.e., not a one-off), I'm sharing my experience here. · New Vespa. I wanted to buy a new Vespa from Moto Club (MC) and they asked me to email them the details of the bike I wanted. I emailed them the details - twice. They ignored my first email. Then they ignored my second email. So I bought my 2025 Vespa elsewhere. · Scratches. I had my 2010 Vespa towed to MC and MC replaced the battery. When I picked up my Vespa, it had deep scratches that were new. The scratches were either created by the tow company or MC. When I pointed out the scratches to MC, MC assured me that they "always" take pics of bikes when they arrive at their shop - meaning MC's photos of my incoming bike would disprove the notion that MC scratched my bike. I asked MC for those photos - so I could figure out whether the tow company or MC was responsible for the scratches. Then I asked MC for the photos again. And then I asked MC for the photos a third time. Etc. Finally, after weeks of seeking the photos that MC assured me it "always" took and would exonerate MC, MC said that they didn't actually have the photos. So I can't prove that MC (vs. the tow company) scratched my bike. But MC can't exonerate itself because it chose to not take photos of my bike when it arrived, in spite of their assurance that they "always" do so. So I actually don't know if MC scratched my bike. But the two primary alternatives here are: (a) MC never took the photos of my incoming bike, even though MC proclaimed that it always does so, or (b) MC did take the photos - but when MC saw the photos they showed that MC scratched my bike and so MC wouldn't share the photos with me. · Confusion Over Pricing + Confusion Over Credit. Once I bought my new Vespa elsewhere, I paid MC to transfer my after-market horn from my 2010 bike to my 2025 bike (and transfer the new bike's horn to my old bike). There was a lot of back-and-forth between us as they worked on my bikes. I understood their estimate to be different from what they understood their estimate to be. As I recall, the total was about $600. They claim it was about $800. ($600 was a stretch for me to spend - so if I understood it to be $800, then I know I wouldn't have had the "horn switch" done.) When I left MC after paying their full $800 price for the "horn switch" (which was after a frustrating conversation for both of us), their staff followed me out as I was getting on my bike to leave. He said he'd credit back to me $90 or $100 (I can't remember which) - because he didn't want me to leave mad. Not only didn't MC actually follow-through with the credit, but when I pointed out to MC that I still had not received the $90/$100 credit on my card, they didn't respond. It took another email and 5 weeks for them to issue the credit back to me. (They eventually told me that, when I was leaving their store, they offered me a STORE credit (not a credit back to my credit card). But I would've remembered that - because a store credit is meaningless to me and so I would've asked for a credit back to my credit card.) · "Warranty" Issue? On my 2025 bike, MC was to install my QuadLock phone holder. Once MC had my bike, MC told me that my one-week old 2025 Vespa had a warranty issue in that the item that holds the side mirror into the body frame was stripped. It didn't seem plausible me that that kind of defect would exist on a new bike, but I'm not a mechanic. MC told me that Vespa "corporate" agreed it was a warranty issue, so I didn't think much of it. I took my new bike to a Vespa dealer so they could do the "warranty" repair, which MC isn't authorized to do. The Vespa dealer said that when they spoke with Vespa "corporate", Vespa "corporate" refuted MC's characterization that it was a warranty issue. I was told the stripping damage to the threads was likely caused by the person installing the QuadLock not understanding that the mirror apparatus has "reverse threads". (This is all Greek to me.) I'm inclined to believe my Vespa dealer and Vespa "corporate" and not MC. But I'll never know the truth. MC apologized for the "store credit v. credit card credit" confusion, but nothing else. That's fine, bc surely MC disagrees w. virtually everything I've written here -- even though I gave MC a prior draft of this post and 2.5 weeks to point out any inaccuracies. I may regret this post because there are so few bike repair shops and now I can't go back to MC; but the reviews on here just seemed so different from my MC experiences that I felt the need to balance it out. read more

No more procrastinating. :) At the time of my bike search in 2023, I had a 2022 Yamaha R1 and I was interested in an Italian supersport (i.e. Aprilia RSV4, Ducati V4/V4S). About 8-9 months ago, I purchased a brand new 2023 Aprilia RSV4 Factory 1100. This was at the Santa Monica location before moving to their new location in Culver City. I primarily worked with Victor, the owner, and he and his team (Shae, Chris, Trevor) provided an exceptional 5 star experience. Victor and his team are very knowledgable, friendly, addressed all my questions, provided personalized customer service, went above and beyond, and most importantly made me feel very comfortable with my decision to buy my next motorcycle here. There was absolutely no sales pressure and Victor and his team truly wanted me to be happy with my purchase and the overall service they provided. I took my wheel in to La Moto Club for a tire change and i was quoted $120 and ended paying $150, which i still thought was reasonable cause i did not know the wheel required a inner-tube so i purchased one of their inner tubes and they proceeded with the labor. When i got home i noticed the wheel was deflating as a i heard air coming from one of the spokes, i called them immediately and asked them what was wrong. They responded with they are not responsible and that i should tighten them because they did not touch the spokes. Before i took my wheel in for the tire change it was holding air perfectly fine so i assumed taking it to a reputable shop it would be in good hands i guess i was mistaken. read more

made a appointment two weeks out and the day of showed up at the scheduled time and they told me they would try to get it in by the end of the day for 30 minute compression check. They said that their shop was full and if they can get it in in the afternoon, it might be done. This was the worst experience I've ever had in my life with an auto repair place I have friends who've had the same Experian with family auto do not go there and if you do good luck. I dodged a bullet. DON'T BUY or REPAIR here. Sales has no transparency. And I wouldn't buy a stick of gum from them. The shop, couldn't fix a sandwich. Too expensive and the techs don't know anything but maybe Aprilla. Minor oil leak I had diagnosed and repaired in a couple days at another shop. Their tech said he would need to pull the motor. Ahhaha. Go pull your Aprilla motor. I give it less than a year at this location. Maybe the can go back to bicycles To be fair, I spoke to the owner and we came to a mutual understanding and I was harsh. That being said my experience was less than desired. Back in the saddle again. Back in 2016, an accident and subsequent questionable life choices took me off two wheels for 7 years. Yesterday, 4/22, that all changed. I had been trolling my usual three or four dealerships online, looking for inventory and found the contender online at MotoClub. I was shocked to see a 23 RR in black and didn't wait another minute. Like a lunatic, i emailed, called and instagrammed Victor. Then i apologized. Lol. His response, its all good, call me. Friday, 4/21, he slapped a post it on it with my name and sent me info to get the process started. Friday night, i get a picture with the requested tail tidy akd prep all before i had set foot in the shop. When i got to the shop, i was greeted by cool-as-a-cucumber Victor. We greeted each other and then he showed me to my bike- which was perfect. He had all the paperwork (which was the shortest and easiest process Ive been thru buying a vehicle of any kind) ready and I was riding out in two hours - possibly less!
