Moto Guzzi Classics and Mark deserve more than a great review for the service I received. I feared the worst for my 2015 V7, and Mark had it back in shape and running better than new in mere hours. It would have taken weeks, if not more than a month, to get this fixed at another shop in the area and I would have learned substantially less in the process. The guy is old school, clearly done this forever, and seems to enjoy helping people in a pinch. He is passionate about guzzi's and the craft with which to take care of them. I have been dealing with Mark for 25+ years and have never had anything but positive interactions. Some of my service I do myself, and if I have questions, he has answers. If I get stuck (had an electrical gremlin once), he can always fix it. If you have a classic Moto Guzzi, this should he your first choice for service in Southern California. There isn't a shop that has more knowledge of how your bike ticks and what to do to troubleshoot it. I stopped in to look for some replacement parts for my Moto Guzzi. Talked with Mark I was able to get a few parts I've been hunting for. I got them for a fair price and Mark was a pleasure to do a deal. Worst and rude shop ever. They also sell on eBay and they will cuss you out if you attempt to return a damaged item. I purchased an item that arrived damaged. These blokes then went as low as purchasing something from me just so they can leave me a negative feedback. Retaliatory feedback case opened with eBay. What they did is EXETREMELY dirt low, i.e., scum bags. STAY AWAY FROM THESE BLOKES. They will sell brake parts and will not disclose what's wrong with them. So if you are not careful, you risk getting into accidents with the parts they sell. They do not care if you get hurt or not as long as they get paid. And when you even attempt to complain, they will cuss you out and call you names. They are a perfect example of what types of businesses you should avoid. If you value your motorcycle, and even more so, value your life, stay away from these rude, inconsiderate, ignorant, selfish, fraudulent business. I ride a Harley, not a Guzzi. These guys are all Guzzi all the time, but when my bike shut down on me just outside their shop one day, they did everything they could to get me back up and running, all without asking for a dime. We weren't able to make it happen, so I took it over to Bennett Performance for a more in depth look. I'll probably never own a Guzzi, but if I did, this is where I would buy it. read more

I stop by Moto Guzzi Classics about four to five times a year. I am a huge fan of motorcycles, particularly of the Italian brands such as Ducati, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi. I remember when this shop used to be located at a smaller garage on PCH prior to being moved to current Redondo Blvd. spot. Mark, the proprietor of Moto Guzzi Classics is a real nice guy and will engage you in conversation on anything in general, but there is no doubt that he is a Moto Guzzi guy. In the back of his shop he probably has enough inventory to keep all the Guzzis on the west coast operating. Moto Guzzis are not common motorcycles, so it's nice to see someone so fanatical about them. Even though I don't ride anymore, I still keep my motorcycle license current and every once in a while, I get a real bad itch to ride. Therefore, I'll never forget the time I was just checking out a 70's El Dorado and Mark tossed me a helmet and told me to take it for a spin. It was about 20 to 30 minutes of joy; although the motorcycle was archaic (My most recent bike was a Ducati Paso 750 which was much more refined). Every once in a while, Mark has something truly special in his shop. The only time I've ever seen a real life Ghezzi-Brian SuperTwin was at Moto Guzzi Classics. Back in the 2000's, I almost bought a Gilera CX125 from Mark. It is also the only time I have ever seen a real life Gilera CX125. The only reason I didn't get to buy it is because the deal was to buy it along with a Gilera Chrono, which I didn't want. Unfortunately, someone else did want the Chrono and he took the CX125 with it as well. If you are a Guzzi rider and don't know about Moto Guzzi Classics, I strongly urge you to get in touch with Mark. He'll be your go to guy to keep your bike going. read more

Mark and this shop is the f@#!ing worst. He takes advantage of budgets, his work is cheap and shotty, he doesn't confide to any sort of deadline - and most importantly he is probably the rudest person I've ever met. He brought in an old customer and kept reffering to him as "dumb dumb" and "dumby" even though all he asked for was air for his tires (a small favor for a repeat costumer.) He charged me twice for coating my headers because he "forgot" to take it to the coaters the first time. When I received my bike it was half completed as to what we agreed upon for the estimate because he wanted 1,000$ more to finish.. Every time we talked he lost his temper for no apparent reason. (he told me he was going through a law suit - idk if it was shop related or not). Lastly - im not sure if he did this out of spite or not but when I received my bike it developed an odd vibration from the exhaust, it ended up being from the rubber gaskets he used to reinstall my pipes which ended up crumbling in my hands after only 100 miles. Our last encounter ended with him saying "i'm the worst customer he's ever had" even though I paid him upfront for all the work he quoted and only got half of it completed. Lazy. Unprofessional. Dirty. Crude. Crook. Steer away from this shop. read more

This review is not really for anyone who already owns a Guzzi. If you do own a Moto Guzzi and live in SoCal you probably already know about Mark. This is more to anyone considering the purchase of a Guzzi. If so, you can be confident that if you are considering buying a vintage Guzzi you will be in good hands with Moto Guzzi Classics. Mark is practical,knowledgeable and resourceful. He will be able to sort your ride and keep it running with the minimum of fuss. If there is a simple solution to what vexes you he will find it. I brought my recently purchased Honda rebel to see Mark because I was having some problems with the handle bars and lever placement. It was just before close and Mark was very helpful, he took the time to walk me through the lever adjustments to see what felt comfortable for me. For whatever you ride, even if it's not a Guzzi, this is THE shop to go to. Mark, the owner, is a super nice guy and good to chat with. For bike service, he'll be honest with you about the options and not just try to replace parts. He'll look to save you money and will scrounge parts for you at a reasonable cost. He also will warn you if a repair may prove more costly than you are thinking. I have bought and sold bikes there as well as had routine maintenance and major modifications. I stop by whenever I am in the area, just to chat and see what's new. This is truly an old school motorcycle shop. No fancy showroom and waiting lounge. There aren't many left like this.
