I ride a 2016 Triumph Bonneville T120, which I damaged pretty badly after dropping it a couple years ago. Really busted up the right side, including my exhaust. Fortunately, I found BA Moto, and they were so helpful, thorough, and reasonably priced. I've been taking my bike to them ever since for repairs, maintenance, and modifications. If you ride a British bike, this is the shop to take it to. Plus, the shop is just a rad space to be in. Thank you for all you do, BA Moto! read more

Props to Nate for helping me find the best parts for my T120 and to Jamie for the awesome work he did on my bike. These guys are extremely knowledgeable and can handle a wide range of repairs/upgrades for old and new bikes. While they're perfectionists when it comes to the work they do, the vibe of this shop is very chill and fun. Great group of guys for talkin' shop or just hangin' with. Quality work and excellent customer service! The owner and his team work hard to create a community here in Long Beach.

Been going to BA since I bought my first triumph 4 years ago. I didn't know a ton of people in the moto community when I moved to California and they were recommended by a friend, I stopped by the shop and it was instant good vibes, at this point they are more than mechanics to me the BA guys are friends & family. I've had multiple triumphs over the years and they've always been well taken care of, serviced, and upgraded by the guys at BA! They work with me to make sure I'm staying within budget and communicate well and get my bikes back to me quickly! Nate and Jamie have always gone above and beyond to make sure my bikes are safe and ready to ride :) read more

These guys are top notch. The owner and staff are all passionate riders and know all there is to know about Triumphs. Brought my bike here for a recent service and they do all that's required, asked and then some of things I neglected to ask simply because it is the right thing to do. Best service in town, hands down. Well done fellas. read more

I needed a new clutch cable as mine almost completely gave out on saturday. As is true of most of the industry they are closed on Sunday and mondays. I sent forms to dealers and ba moto and they actually got back to me on Sunday and told me they had one in stock. I was super excited because my motorcycle is my daily ride and I need it to go to work. I went there this morning shortly after they opened and they had it ready for me the price was much better than any of the dealers quoted me also and it was OEM. Everyone there was very nice and I was like a kid in a candy shop being a triumph owner look forward to doing business with them for many years to come. read more

I have to thank these guys for all their help with great service and parts (and free advice) that aided in the restoration of my 70' Triumph. Experience and knowledge beyond their years. They also carry an enormous amount of new and USED parts! love this place. read more

Nate and his boys are rad. You won't find a better, more trustworthy shop to get your bike worked on.

The boys of BA have shown up for me when I needed them the most and go above and beyond to make sure I'm getting the most cost efficient fix possible. They've gotten me out of multiple tough spots and show great compassion to new riders. I've always felt like I was treated with respect and honesty from their knowledgable staff. Plus, the new shop is sick and I'm excited to see them grow and serve the moto community of Long Beach (and beyond) even more while also creating a passionate, open community for riders of all skill levels and styles. Yay BA! read more

BA MOTO - Work shop - Motorcycle Repair Near Me - Signal Hill, California

I wrote a review on google but BA took it down within hours, another sign of how dishonest and unprofessional this shop is. I took my bike into BA because I wanted the job done right and their reviews seemed up to par. I left BA with a HUGE unauthorized bill and a dirty and damaged bike. The last thing I want to do is put down a mom and pop shop but these guys DO NOT deserve your hard earned money. Every second of my experience was unprofessional. I paid my bill regretfully, took my bike and left the shop feeling robbed and irritated that I trusted them. Considering I paid so much money I couldn't stop thinking about how weird everything went from start to finish, so I decided to ask around the motorcycle community to see if anyone else had dealt with this shop before. Sure enough the amount of negative comments and information I received about how these guys conduct business was appalling. From ripping off customers to large scale and repeated tax fraud these guys do it all. Now that you went the extra step to delete my google review and confirm that you really are a shady shop that takes zero accountability / pride in your workmanship I will 100% be filing a Form 3949-A and report them to the IRS. Consider this your warning to stay FAR FAR AWAY from BA motors. read more

Nate and the crew go above and beyond to ensure you and your bike are fully taken care of. The only people I trust with my triumphs. With over 15 years experience they can handle any British bike between 1950 and 2020! They build em, race em, and everything in between. Come here to get your bike in tip top shape and you won't be disappointed. read more

I'll just start by saying i loved my mechanic. Unfortunately there were two things that kept me from going to him as much as I wanted to. 1. He worked at a dealership and 2. It's several miles away and at least a 20 min drive if I was the only one on the road. Fortunately, he turned me on to the guys here at BA Moto. I know what he considers quality work so if he was referring me, then I figured they must be pretty good. I finally got over there and I could just kick myself for taking so long. I have a '01 Bonnie that needed a lot of little things that would have taken a full day and several hundred dollars at the dealer. Mike gave me an estimate on the phone and a couple days later I finally called to schedule an appointment. He not only took me in that day, but was able to get all the planned work done, plus a bunch of other things I thought of after I got there, all while I waited! I didn't even get over there until about 4:45p! Amazing! I also have a '73 Super Sport that I'm trying to get running. I will be taking it over to them and saving myself the wrenching headaches. They specialize in the Brit bikes, but as one mechanic mentioned to me, working on all bikes pays the rent. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they do with it. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they even offer a reasonably priced pick up service. I think what I most appreciate is that these guys ride too. Their love for bikes comes through in everything from how the shop is designed to how they work on the bikes. I like knowing that the guy working on my bike loves her as much as I do. Oh, and did I mention that she runs and sounds great?! I'm so happy to have a great bike shop here near the LBC. Check them out. read more

Let me start by saying I signed up with Yelp with the sole purpose of giving these guys a review they are that good. After calling and researching triumph mechanics in the greater Los Angeles area I decided to bring my bike to BA Moto to have some work done and get some parts powder coated. I could not be happier! From the first time I called and spoke with Nate about what I wanted done to my bike till the time I picked up the bike they were a pleasure to work with. Both the mechanical and cosmetic work they did on my was done to perfection. Even though they are located 35 miles from my home I will continue to bring my bike to them for anything it needs. Both Nate and Mike are top notch this is the only shop to bring your Triumph. read more

I stopped by and I asked about a paint job and tail tidy and Nate said sure but wanted to take my bike for a ride and I said yes but then regretted it when he mentioned to me he was hungover and to email him about the work I wanted done. Never heard back and I'll tell everyone else to avoid this place. read more

I'm fortunate to work right down the street from these guys. It makes it really easy for me to drop my bike off in the morning and have them upgrade it while I work. So far they've upgraded the exhaust and air flow system on my triumph Bonneville as well as some electrical work and a tachometer installation. Their work is really good and they know the Modern Triumph bikes really well so I really trust them. I plan on doing some more upgrades so instead of me tinkering and possibly screwing something up again, I'll hand her over to Wrench and Ol' Fashioned haha I highly recomend these guys if you want to get work done on your Modern Bonneville or Thruxton! read more

I needed a 12k service on my 2014 Street Triple R and was quoted a high price by the dealer. While the dealer has always provided top-notch service, I couldn't bring myself to pay that much and been researching independent shops. These guys had solid ratings, so I went in and met Nate who was a really cool guy and really knew what he was talking about. He quoted me a much more reasonable price, so I left my bike. In the end, I received the 12k service, new brakes, a new chain and sprockets, and a cool T-Shirt for less than what the dealer wanted for just the one service. I'm definitely bringing my T120 back to these guys for the mods I've been wanting to install. read more

These guys know their stuff and are real easy to deal with, definitely the gold standard of independent repair shops. I have known Nate and Jaime now for over 10 years. Nice group of guys. I had my Thruxton remapped there. Bike kept on dying on the home. Ordered a OBD II off amazon. Found out BA MOTO map was just standard change out of pipe. Jumped online remapped with a map that matches my aftermarket installs. Now works perfect. Sorry but first impression very disappointing. They should've checked or asked what was already installed. 3-stars for the customer service. read more

I was referred here by a coworker and had a diagnostic performed on an old Yamaha. Mike was personable and picked up the bike and I was sure I would receive good service. After diagnosing the problem, he stated the cost to go further was so much that I decided the bike was not worth the cost. Mike stated he would put the bike back together and bring it to me. I assured him that was not in a rush. I just got the bike back today and he did not put it back together. He gave me the bike in pieces and told me it would cost additional money to put it back the way he promised he would. I purchased a Triumph in the interim and also own another old Yamaha. I will NOT be giving them my business again and if you plan on doing business with them, I STRONGLY recommend a written contract. read more

Good honest guys here who love bikes and do great work for a fair price in a reasonable amount of time. They also know how to have fun and promote community among riders. Check out one of their bike nights for a better understanding. They have done great work on both my 02 Bonneville and my 07 Suzuki/Ryca CS1. Their custom builds are works of art. If you have Brit or Jap bikes, you won't find a better shop. That is all. read more

Met these guys back in 2013 with the purchase of my first motorcycle (a 2013 Triumph Bonneville). The service I got on that bike and every other bike I've purchased since has always been the best. Including work on 2015 T-100 I crashed that I got back from them even better than before. On top of that I've grown a friendship with them and their family. They're great people and a great family run shop. Not to mention they're only 10 minutes away from my home. read more

Awesome place. FILLED with beautiful bikes. I'm only taking my Bonnie here from now on. I was stranded at one point at a nearby gas station and Mike drove right over and gave me a tow! This is not your sterile motorcycle shop. These guys live, breathe, and eat motorcycles. No, seriously, they eat them. I have taken my Harley, and my vintage Honda here, with good results, and fair prices. Maintenance, repair, tires, advice, and camaraderie among fellow riders. Solid local guys who love bikes, and want you to have a good experience. Real riders, real mechanics, square deals. What more do you want? read more

I was in need of a 12,000 mile maintenance service on my Bonneville and realized that other shops and dealers were charging me way too much. A coworker of mine referred me to BA MOTO so I decided to give them a call. I called Mike and told him about my situation and he gave me a quote over the phone. I rode over 30 miles to drop the bike off and they had my bike ready in a few days (I dropped it off on Christmas Eve). Everyone was cool and i wasn't surprised by any hidden fees or anything of that sort. I felt pretty comfortable at the shop and I'm hoping to come here more often to do some custom work on my bike. read more

Nate helped me with a seat I was looking for. Best shop to go to in SoCal if you have a Triumph.

I thought with the price I paid I would've had the rust removed from my tank with a sealant put on to prevent future rust, but came to find out they just put the sealant over the existing rust. I could've done this myself at a quarter of the price. read more
