The vanilla latte was layered with flavor to the last sip. The first thing I noticed was how smooth the coffee was, but also paired with a robust coffee flavor. It was not bitter at all. There's something special about this coffee - one of the best I have ever had. The smoothie was great as well. It wasn't sweet, which was appreciated. It tasted like a healthy option for breakfast. My oldest son really liked the mini hot cakes, from the presentation to the taste. My youngest ordered the oatmeal and really enjoyed it. My wife had the scrambled eggs and was not impressed. They are located in one of the crossed street. They have a good selection of books in both English and Spanish. I have to say the book prices are adorable. They do accept credit cards as well as Mexican Pesos and USD dollars. They have loads of comfortable seats that's a combination of benches and sofas inside the cafe. They also have a really cute garden as well. I'd noticed their fresh cookies, snacks and soft drinks they had available for purchase. Overall it's a very cozy place to relax at and read. It's a full service cafe with coffee and tea drinks there is also food and local craft beer.... And the books! There are rooms and rooms of used books for sale! In times of COVID I would expect places to encourage to-go orders instead of charging extra. The reasoning I was given was "To save the planet" but wouldn't they then encourage to-go orders and plant based milk options if saving the plant was the true motivation instead of covering the costs of paper cups? Regardless, it was good coffee but the seating was not really socially distanced which makes it hard to want to stay in and sit down in leisure.
