Dr. Yevgeny Sosnovsky, DDS - 5 star review!!! I am not a fan…read moreof going to the dentist, let alone a new dentist. However, Dr. Yevgeny Sosnovsky was so patient and kind. He talked me through the process of pulling my tooth, which healed perfectly. He is amazing! T. Murray

I made a yelp account just to say how my appointment with Dr Phillips went…read more I went to Brunswick Dental Care for an emergency appointment because I have a tooth cracked down into the gum with associated pain. My teeth are in a severely neglected state, but also many teeth are whole but have dentin exposed at the gumline. I have severe anxiety about people making me hold my mouth open while they do something because I was orally raped. After the x-rays Dr Phillips came to look in my mouth. I was distressed but was able to do it. Dr Phillips looked in my mouth for a couple seconds and said I'd need to have all my teeth pulled out and get dentures. Obviously I said I'd like to avoid that if at all possible. She told me another dentist could fix the problems with root canals, crowns, and extractions, but that "no one who accepts my insurance will do that." I am on Medicaid. I asked her about the Dental Disability program who does this kind of work, but she said her practice didn't work with them so she couldn' give me a referral to them. At the desk I was given a mantilla envelope containing a referral to Adirondack Maxillofacial Surgery, and one copy of an x-ray, although they'd taken many. The only note on the referral is under "Recommendations" where she wrote "extraction #1 2 3 4 5 6 7...32". When I got home I was surprised to see my pharmacy had delivered a bottle of prescription antibiotics. Dr Phillips never talked to me about any infection, or if these are prophylactic before seeing another dentist. I have no clue. She said nothing about antibiotics or infection. Neither did she give me any instructions regarding taking the antibiotics. She never once asked me about my pain or discussed options to prevent me breaking off the chunk of tooth or to control the pain. It hurts quite a lot which I told them when I made the appointment. I was never told she was prescribing anything and the only thing she said was I'd have to get all my teeth pulled out. I didn't even get so much as a recommendation to eat soft food. She is negligent and cruel, and her conduct probably qualifies as malpractice. Avoid at all costs, especially if you have anxiety or neglected teeth.

Brunswick Dental Associates - You can see that my teeth are in bad shape, but not so bad that every single one of 30 teeth need to be pulled out like she said.

Brunswick Dental Associates - The referral. She how she just recommends to pull out every single tooth (except 2 that are missing - I was born without adult teeth there).

I declined, but changed my mind since my financial situation changed and I now have low income dental insurance. I really liked Dr Chi and his office staff. The office is very nicely decorated and clean. They have new and sophisticated equipment which always makes me feel more at ease. I called to cancel my root canal appointment and I asked IF I could get cleanings and future fillings with Dr, Chi. (Using a specilist who would take my new insurance would save me $2700k - Dr. Chi's fee for root canal and crown). I was told NO I had to get my root canal with him ONLY and I could not even return there for cleanings or fillings!! This literally brought me to tears on the phone with his wife/receptionist! She didn't seem very understanding or compassionate. She just said he has a strict standard of care. *** Here is the kicker though! Today I went to a very well known root canal specialist who has been practicing for over 30 years, and he said this tooth/molar needs to be extracted because it is so severely cracked that a root canal would not even be successful! * standard of care, eh!? I really question the ethics of this dental practice. The root canal specialist said he has never heard of a dentist dropping clients for wanting to see another provider. He also said that it appears as if Evergreen is more motivated by money than standard of care! There are a lot of great dentists in this area who are more interested in the health of their patients, than the money in their pockets! I'd be wary to go here $$$

He had xrays and I was sent there by my dentist with a message from her for an extraction. They tell me no this is just the consult. They had my health questions filled out on the email they sent me with meds and health issues filled out. I don't have a lot of time as I work full time and care for an ill family member on hospice. My time is limited. There is barely a tooth there as it was decayed under the crown. When I did see the dentist he asked me two questions stuck his finger in my mouth and said ok we can do this today but I have to fit you in. Two hour wait time. If they had told me that it was a consult I would not have taken the appointment. He may be a good surgeon but there was no communication. They asked me to be there at 720 and they didn't open the door until 730. Then they wanted a fee for a consult, that was a hard no. So no I would not recommend him. His office was all pretty furniture and big screen TVs but I feel it was just a little too foofoo and not enough medical.
