My first PT, Rebecca, is an amazing physical therapist, extremely knowledgeable and motivating to work with! I made great progress with her, and felt enthusiastic and optimistic the whole time. The desk staff are also super helpful and nice--really excellent at their jobs too. I came back for physical therapy for a different problem 5 years later, and had the luck to work with three more physical therapists there. They were Conor, Greg, and (on two occasions) Brittany. They found a way to keep me making progress even when I had a medical set-back, and they worked really well as a team. Plus, they were super-kind and knowledgeable and creative in the choice of exercises. My balance and strength have noticeably improved because of working with them . Also, they have taught me valuable lessons about how the different muscles work together and how to make the best of that. Add to this that the staff at the desk is still both super-competent and very kind and friendly--I still recommend Elliott PT in Dorchester highly!

I checked out their web site and liked their complimentary transportation to the clinic as well as staff bios. So, I made an appointment. It turns out that Wellness have the most amazing staff - friendly, knowledgable, professional people. Dr. Nimgade is a gem! He is very attentive and spends generous amount of time trying to understand what causes your particular problem and how your lifestyle contributes to your condition. Dr. Nimgade not only prescribed an appropriate therapy treatment for me, but most importantly, showed me how to break the circuit of pain without surgery or drugs by teaching me gentle exercises and stretches that give me quick a lasting pain relief. I was referred to Bay State PT, specifically for either cupping or dry needling, as indicated on my…read morereferral picture attached. When I called to schedule my initial appointment, this was the service that I requested. After being booked the first appointment and paying my copay ($70), I was told that the physical therapist they scheduled me with did not perform dry needling and that I would need to follow-up with another PT. In addition to that, I was told that they cannot bill insurance for dry needling and is $100 out of pocket per visit. None of this information was communicated to me on the phone before I made the appointment, otherwise I would have tried other places that will bill insurance first. After inquiring about whether I could at least get my $70 copay back for the incorrect visit, this was refused. After this experience, I told them to discharge me as a patient. If I can't trust them to even book me the correct appointment, I will not be trusting them as an alleged health care provider.

I came to her to seek pain management and injuries to my right wrist about a few months ago and she evaluate my pain according to what she knew best that can help treat and cured my severe pain I was enduring at the time of my injury. After seeking two months of exercise, massages at Baystate Physical and with the aid of my orthopedic surgeon , Dr. Charles Cassidy, injecting cortisone shots, I have feel allot better with both treatment. The only reason for the 4 vs. 5 stars, is I am not a fan of the pre treatment electric simulator thing he puts on you. It's hot and has a wet over blanket- and I'm often here on a lunch break and typically have meetings after. I'm not a fan of having my face squished while I relax for 5 minutes... that's just me being vain, but I thought I would put it out there. I will say he is friendly and has made my neck/back feel better. He knows what he is doing and has been amazing and always patient.
