Previous effort helped normalize the pain, but I didn't make great progress on my own. I started with doubt that I could recover range and ability. Within 2 months of work so far, Taylor has stepped the programming based on his observations of my current ability. Just when I thought I was getting used to the work, he pulled the line. I was able to, as part of the regular programming able to do a pushup off the floor with disbelief. The same goes with a pull up as well. His decades of experience works you, as long as you give it a chance, consistently. ### Regarding Group Fitness Class The daily group classes are in a place of itself. It will introduce you to movements that you may not do well, increase your mobility and cardio fitness. There are many levels of people who participate, all growing together. The programming is well thought out and structured. Highly recommend as I have taken the dive fitting this into my various routines. Since the free trial, I am definitely moving differently compared to the extreme difficulty I had initially. I thought I had some kind of fitness, but this exposed me to challenge me. Living proof! Lets go!

On my first visit I was admittedly turned off by the setup, dated and tight is an understatement. I was going to leave but instead decided to wait it out and hope for a diamond in the rough. For the record, the last time I did physical therapy a few months back was at a beautifully lit, well decorated place with state of the art equipment, however, I never felt better using them. Sure I had a cut girl massaging me and giving me exercises to do, she was also encouraging, but again, I never felt any better. Well oh boy was I glad I waited, first off, everyone there was super nice. Then I met w/ a therapist named Oliver. He took notes on my health history and starting working on me and boy did he work on me. I'm glad I ventured in to this place and although I'd love to see some updating of the facility, I will continue to go here as long as Oliver remains.

I've been to so many different spas and massage therapists, but he's the only one who's fixed my sciatica pain and TMJ issues. He really knows his stuff too, he does an assessment before the massage to see where is the root cause of the tension and inflammation. I've gone to physical therapists and chiropractors but nothing helped. I came across Mike on yelp and I'm so glad I decided to come in. I've gone back to mike 3 times now and every time I leave I tell him change the business name from "Sooth away your aches" to "brand new you" lol. He's helped me get my hip mobility back that I haven't had in years. He understands how the whole body is connected - instead of just where you experience the pain, mike searches for all the imbalances that is the root of the problem. I've had so many massages in my life where I've left feeling like I just got poked around. It's so refreshing to meet someone who can provide me with relief and results. It's not the most relaxing place as it's on Main Street, but your main goal for coming here is to get relief! I've already recommended my mom, girlfriend, and friends. It's literally been life changing for me. If you're body hurts, come see mike and let him know what's bothering you. He really goes to battle with your pain and he doesn't disappoint.

Dr. Caryn McAllister has become my families rock star. My children were having some issues that the…read moreschool brought to our attention. Their pediatrician also mentioned that they would need some extra work at home with specialists. I was referred to High Quality Home Therapy. I was skeptical at first because I live in Oxford and they are located in Stamford. That's quite a hike to travel and a bunch of traffic both ways! I was pleased to find out that I was able to have all the therapy and other services performed at my home. They ALL came to me. What a relief! My three children were provided with amazing services. I thought they would see all three for up to 45 minutes, but I was wrong. They saw each for a full 60-90 minutes each. My youngest has the most services as he struggled during COVID in school and needed special tests and a different course of therapy. He received two or three therapists/specialists twice per week. Everything was arranged by Dr. McAllister herself. I told her when the kids had time and she asked when would be convenient and I said please give me a schedule that works best with her staff. She said thank you and gave me a schedule right aways. She worked with my insurance, more like twisted their arm to get me the services my three children needed. I couldn't believe that my insurance initially told me they would not cover anything by three separate letters, however, after she worked behind the scene I received a letter for 20 approved sessions per therapist and specialist and all the additional testing my children required. When my kids required additional sessions she was able to get the insurance company to approve additional sessions, beyond what is in my plan...amazing. I've never seen such dedication and passion from any medical professional. My three boys are all doing better. My youngest has made huge improvements. All of this is because of Caryn McAllister. I think the best surprise was one of the therapists was a former student of mine. What a treat to see how one of my former students has succeeded and she kept telling me how much she loves her boss and company. It made me feel so good about working with High Quality Home Therapy. I only had one issue and it was with my insurance company where they refused to cover one service. I fought hard to challenge it. Dr. McAllister had my back and then she told me that they won't bill me for it again. I was very impressed. It did take a while for the bill to get taken care of. About a month later I found out that Dr. McAllister was not able to get the bill approved and removed from my obligation. She took care of it. I don't know specifics but I didn't have to pay for that bill. Wow. I know that her patients also appreciate and actually care for her. I am also a Driver Rehabilitation Specialist and have met many patients of hers and they all say wonderful things about the service they receive and level of care and detail. I can't believe I didn't write this review sooner. If anybody in my family requires therapy in the future we certainly will use only Dr. Caryn McAllister.
