Not only is he personable, kind, and immediately makes you feel comfortable, he's incredibly knowledgable about the body, injuries, and post injury recovery. He is highly skilled in manual therapy work, which (in my opinion) is a critical part of therapy. It is rare you find a physical therapist that spends the FULL hour with you, but Marcello does. As a dancer and athlete, I tend to have injuries or pain often, and since seeing Dr. Marcello, I am learning proper body mechanics to perform exercises more effectively without injury. The office is really nice and both receptionists are super friendly and helpful. He also incorporates massage therapy and Acupuncture (when necessary) into treatments. You can book full sessions of either to quicken recovery time. If you have pain, are suffering from an injury, or want to improve your sports performance, I would highly recommend Dr. Marcello

I went to Sarrica PT during lockdown and at a point in time where I could no longer put off seeing someone for my knee and hip pain. Marcello and staff were dedicated to getting me back on track. Then I sprained my ankle and it was SPT to the rescue again. For the first time since before the pandemic I finally can walk and exercise pain-free and feel great! Going to SPT was the best pandemic decision I made!!!

Her knowledge of every little foot and leg muscle allowed her to create a whole plan to strengthen every part of my injured ankle. As she saw my strength, mobility and balance increase, the exercises changed so that I was always challenged. I would recommend this place for any physical therapy you need. I am finished with PT and back at the gym feeling stronger than before. THANK YOU RIA!

For the person quickly leaving a "witness" opinion of an "irate" patient today without understanding the backstory. This comment is for you** and JAG. I'm the niece of that patient. You have a lot of nerve to come to google reviews and speak about a matter that you have ZERO knowledge of the WHY - and for that reason it is non of your business. You must be one of the many old and disgusting men that stare at women's @$$ at this Jag facility... This was not a "one off" situation of what happened to my aunt today (And if it was - Why would it be any of your concern?)... You just happened to observed it today coincidentally. Something like this could of happened on a day that you were not there. You forgot to mention- There was a room full of angry patients waiting for their appointments besides my aunt in the waiting room. It appears you solidified her for some reason and write about her on google reviews.... Jag are tardy with their appointments- and constantly over book their patients. If you witnessed her "irate" today then you must of also witness the other man pissed off arguing with their front desk waiting for 30 minutes today. Who ever you are sir - Mind your damn business and Jag work on your customer service.

They are not only the best group of physical therapists I have ever come across, but they are a lot of fun to be around. When common methods don't work, they work hard to come up with new (and sometimes entertaining) ideas to help you get better. I have recommended multiple people come here. They have already helped me get back onto mat faster than anyone expected. I have another surgery coming up and I plan on going back there to recover. The only negative is that one of the women who works the front desk is a pain to deal with. But you don't go there to deal with the people at the front desk, you go there for therapy. And since the therapists Gene adn Steve are top notch, problem solved.

When I spoke to Olga at the front desk she told me without hesitation that they took my insurance. The lady at the front desk was not very nice or understanding to begin with, and frankly am glad that they don't take my insurance because I don't know if I could see her 3 times a week. Sorry, but be more respectful to your customers and don't answer questions that you don't know the answers to.

The person at the desk seemed very kind while answering my questions and gave me the information I needed. I made my appointment for after the winter break since I would have the kids home. When I came for my first appointment in January 2022, Dr. Chris (who is the same person I initially met) listened to my ailments and explained clearly the process we would do to get rid of my back pain. I've been coming for 3 months now and do feel a lot better. I'm doing minor exercises to strengthen my back. I love the TENS, a massage, and some vibrating machine he uses to finish relaxing the back muscles! Dr. Chris is very professional, he listens, and does not talk condensendingly as some doctors do. He is flexible with the schedule. He's available in Brooklyn on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays after 10:30. The facility is kept clean. It is small but even when he has a couple clients at the same time, everyone is kept in their own "room". I would recommend Dr. Chris and Phoenix Physical Therapy Rehab.

Dr. Armin Tehrany of Manhattan Orthopedic Care (MOC) repaired both my shoulders, four months apart,…read morein 2020. My shoulders had deteriorated over a period of years. By the time they became unbearable, each needed nearly everything fixed; labrum, rotator cuff, bicep tenodesis, bone spurs, arthritis, etc., souvenirs of decades of weight training and as a police dog handler. In my late forties, my normal routine of five days of running, or lifting in the gym became four, then two, then none. Training with the dogs, my job and my passion, became an ordeal to be endured. My sleep was affected. I had constant pain, even at rest. I was referred to Dr. Tehrany by my regular doctor, and soon discovered that he is especially supportive of first responders. As I contemplated surgery I heard from the usual doomsayers: "Don't do it!" "You'll never be right!" "I know a guy who..." I am so glad that I didn't listen to them. The doctor's reputation, his philosophy, and his people gave me the confidence to move forward. Their plan wasn't just to relieve my pain, it was to give me back full function, the ability to get strong again, and to do all the things I like to do. I visited the Staten Island office. The staff there was always great. They made scheduling the surgeries a breeze. Billing was never a problem, and MOC accepted my insurance without issue. Office personnel were friendly, and responsive. Appointments were always timely. Dr. Tehrany's medical team is exceptional. He, along with his surgical PAs and anesthesiologist, practice as a unit to ensure consistency and high standards. Of special note is Physician Associate Tim Lopresti. Tim became my go-to guy, always available and happy to answer my questions, and follow my progress. Both surgeries were performed at surgical centers in Manhattan. The care I received at each was top notch, compassionate and efficient. The toughest part was three weeks in an immobilizing sling after each surgery. That seems to be universally agreed, among shoulder surgery patients. Through it all, I never needed any post-operative pain medication. Of course MOC checked on me and made sure that I was comfortable. Dr. Tehrany's post-surgical strategy is to get you into physical therapy almost immediately, within just a few days. His office recommended a PT provider, and they were terrific. As a result, only four months after the surgery on my right shoulder, I was ready to fix the left. The first experience naturally left me better prepared for the second. Once again, the surgery was completely successful. I went right back to physical therapy. As before, the MOC office staff handled the billing and administration without a hitch. Tim Lopresti stuck by me throughout my rehab. The plan was to give me my life back, and Dr. Armin Tehrany, PA Tim Lopresti and the entire team at Manhattan Orthopedic Care did just that. I will always be grateful.
