I used MOTION New York for my current apartment and had an awesome experience - it's now time to move again, and I was referred to MOTION through a friend. We had an easy, relatively quick apartment search and Julissa helped us find a place that is even better than we anticipated! We met in her office on a Thursday and she explained the rental process and overall NYC market, then took me uptown to look at 2 listings. They were great, but just not the perfect apartment, Julissa said she would put together a few listings for Saturday. She did not disappoint - Saturday morning, she showed us exactly what we were looking for! Even though there were plenty of other brokers and prospective tenants at the showing, she discretely spoke with the super, got in a good word for us, and then helped us start a crazy application.  She met with us before 9AM on Monday morning to make sure we were the first application in for the apartment. Once we were approved, Julissa met with us the next day to go over the lease and represent us to the management company.  I've worked with several brokers before, and Julissa and the MOTION New York team really impressed me as an honest company that goes above and beyond to advocate for their clients. She found us a incredible apartment within our budget, was sensitive to our price point, and was nothing but helpful throughout the whole process. I could not have asked for a better broker to help us navigate the apartment search, and I plan on sending any apartment-seeking friends her and MOTION's way from now on.. Couldn't be happier! My girlfriend and I were looking for our first apartment together when a friend of ours recommended Motion to us: We contacted them the very next day. Our broker, Lane, was very helpful from the start and guided us every step of the way. Lane was extremely accessible as we were in contact with him almost every single day. He was honest with us regarding unit fees and what some of the pros and cons of each building/neighborhood were/are. My girlfriend and I never felt forced into a situation we weren't comfortable with, and Lane never tried to up-sell us on a unit that was out of our price range. We were also pleased with the transparency when Lane was unavailable. He was able to seamlessly introduce us to one of his associates, Adam, who picked up right where Lane left off. Ultimately we ended up signing a unit while with Adam and had a wonderful experience nonetheless. Who knew finding an apartment in NYC could be an easy and seamless process. I was referred to MOTION through one of my good friends and I was immediately paired up with again Ian Glisson. Ian was super chill, punctual and extremely professional. I needed to find an apartment within a week because my landlord wasn't renewing my lease and Ian delivered. I told him my budget and desired location and within 20 minutes he emailed me over a bunch of great potential apts all within my price range. The following day we toured about 5 units and within those 5 I knew which apartment I really wanted. There was another application on the apartment but Ian helped prepare my application and meticulously reviewed it. 5 Hours later the landlord choose my application over the other person! Max is an incredible broker. Navigating through NYC real estate is a pain. Hiring Max was the best decision I could've made, as he cut the nonsense and guided me quickly to the right place. He has expert knowledge of the city, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a place.. We spent a whole second day viewing more places just for us to be sure in our decision, Max never made us feel rushed and offered us great insight looking at the pros and cons of each apartment. In the end he lead us to feel 100% happy and confident in where we ended up.
