The confidence I got from buying from a shop run by someone who clearly knows his way around a moped and enjoys working on them made it an easy decision, and the bike is running great. The bike is often hard to start, stalls constantly, brakes are weak, and the pegs have broken twice. The first two batteries were defective. It looks good, gets a lot of compliments, and is easy to handle. But I don't recommend it unless you are too old to ride anything bigger, have deep pockets, and have the time and experience to work on it. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) gives the company its lowest rating of F for failure to address complaints about mechanical and warranty issues.

I toured the shop, learned some history, and then someone gave me a set of keys and said "please don't break it." I rode for an hour or so, but was sold before I ever got on it, to be truthful. I started a build sheet. For whatever reason, I didn't put down my deposit for nine months, but 6 weeks after that, I was riding my own Halcyon. They had a very limited selection of sizes in the shirts I wanted -- most options were only available in 2X and above. When I asked the associate if they had more inventory, she mentioned they were getting ready to swap everything out for the holidays. I understand seasonal changes, but as a destination for riders and collectors who travel specifically to buy shirts, they really should keep all sizes well-stocked year-round. Not just one, but several shirts I wanted weren't available in the size I needed, so I left without purchasing anything. Also worth noting: this location is not part of the national Harley-Davidson points or rewards system. If you're planning to swing by just to pick up shirts, I recommend calling ahead to confirm they have the size you need. Friendly staff, but limited inventory.
