Absolutely disgusting. My washing machine bearing stripped so while I waited to get a new one I had to temporarily use this place. This place is gross. The machines are very old. It's cramped space and only one chair to sit in so you either leave or go sit in your car. It's also about a quarter more than the laundromat down the road. Also it's in a hidden location so if you're concerned about safety go to the other one which has a more public storefront. read more

Really not sure why this is SO expensive. I've been to plenty of laundromats in my life, and I brought $30. I literally had to run to the nearest ATM to get more quarters.... The small washes are $3.75. And these are BUDGET size, mini apartment washers. The next step up is $6.75. The next, $8.75. Clean premises, but the prices are out of control. It quite literally took me $50 to do my laundry here... it was about 5 regular loads... it should NOT have cost that much. You're much better off going to the coin opp on Sutter creek. Regular laundromat prices and regular size washers. I will never again come to this place. Also, no bathrooms, no employees or way to contact. Not worth the cost. read more

I needed a laundry mat to wash big king bedspreads and Coleman sleeping bags and I was sure glad to find this place. I got here around 9AM on a Wednesday to find 4 large extra capacity front load commercial washers ready for my use. 1.5 hours later, everything is washed and dried and I'm ready to go Met Judith the owner while I was here and she was nice enough to share her WiFi password with me. This laundry mat is very clean and all machines except one are in working condition. I will be back when I need to do my bulk washing again. There aren't many choices out here in Amador County, but I was DAMN glad I chose to partake in Judith's offering. The place is SUPER tidy, the machines are fully functional, and the price reasonable. I needed to wash some super stinky work clothes and the outcome exceeded my expectations. IMPORTANT LOCATION ASIDE: This laundromat is on the backside of the parking area and not viewable from the highway in the Motherload Shopping complex that is adjacent to the Rayley's Market plaza. BONUS ASIDE: There's a rare poster of Sergio Leone's, the third in the Dollar's Trilogy classic movie "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly"--one of my all time favorite movies. I understand from Judith in a past vocation, she was actually in the sphere of reference of Clint Eastwood. I look forward to hearing more tales of her past, next time I pass through. read more

Best place in town to do laundry or have it done for you. Very clean and machines are all in good working condition. Very affordable prices for washing and drying. Staff are on site and super friendly. Christmas musicing playing in the background. I wont go anywhere else. read more

What a great little place. Has the feel of being in an arcade in the 80's. Plenty of machines, helpful staff, and quarters or cash is needed. No fancy machines that take plastic here. All you need though if you need a load done quickly and conveniently. read more

Judith did all of our laundry when we were out of our home after a water disaster. I was so impressed that she was using Eco friendly products and my clothes were always clean, folded and ready on time. I have always taken my special Nikken comforters to her for washing as I do not have a commercial size washer at home. So please with her work and she is always delightful as a person!! read more

This laundry mat is very clean! The owner is there 5 days a week almost until closing time! She offers laundry service for those that don't have time to do their own. Her prices are very fair and she has the cutest little dog, Nemo that will give you love and accept it while you wait for your clothes to dry! Best service in Amador County! read more

I used the laundry facilities here for the first time yesterday. I am a very happy customer and I look forward to going back! The owner was extremely helpful to me in so many ways; I felt like a VIP. She provided advice on washing a bed skirt that said dry clean only (dry cleaning was NOT really required -- saved me some $); she provided me with Downy fabric softener balls for use with my softener; and she gave me a key to use for the free wifi (big bonus!). Her little dog Nemo was cute-cute-cute, and I enjoyed getting to play with him while waiting for my load to finish. The shaded front porch was also nice to catch the morning breeze. This is a very clean, bright, and comfortable place to hang out while you do your laundry (love that it has wifi), and it was an over all great customer experience. I used this laundry facility on 5/28/19 for several weeks' worth of clothes. It is located behind the front building of the shopping plaza that faces the main road. The space is old and worn, but is reasonably clean (floors, tables, window ledges, tops of machines, etc.) so you don't need to worry if you drop a piece of wet laundry. There were about 6 multi-load machines but the double load machines cost $4.75 each-- yikes! I needed three of these. There were many single, top-loading washers. Dryer prices were reasonable/typical at 25 cents for 6 minutes. The staff person there was excellent, always moving around, monitoring the activity and assisting customers frequently. My $5 bill was being rejected by the change machine and before I could ask for assistance, up comes the attendant, exchanging my bill for a crisp new one and out the quarters came. She may have been the owner... not sure. If the facility was in better physical shape and appearance (rest room, too), this would be a five star place to do your laundry despite the price. read more
