Great Place to Rummage Around!…read more I've been popping into this place for years and love it. No, you're not always going to find everything you want.....but that's what I like about it....you just never know what else is there - sometimes nothing - other times a rare find. You have to spend some time there I'm a bit of a fashionista and I've scooped up some seriously beautiful stuff - when you have the time to get passed the other stuff. They even used to have bits of furniture there and I picked up a gorgeous large antique-looking trunk for the end of my end. People all ask me where I got it - they don't have it anymore I say! Owner knows me know and is super friendly.

So classy and elegant. This store is awesome and filled to the brim with unique pieces made for a lady with an adventurous soul! So pleased I stopped in!!

Upon entering, I was amazed at the talent of the local designers' work. There are some beautifully tailored pieces made with high quality material/fabrics throughout the shop. I can't really afford much of the clothing right now because I am a student. However, I will be coming back again and again because of the jewelry. I am in love with the vintage reworks by the various local designers. Lots of the jewelry are one-of-a-kind and handmade. I bought 2 necklaces: one for $32 (on sale, regular $40), and one for $38. I'd say these prices are fair. The owner is awesome. She's extremely knowledgeable, talkative and friendly with everyone that comes in. She isn't pushy and you can tell that local fashion is her passion. If you are unable to attend the city's local craft markets, then this is the place to be! I plan on taking a peak at Little Dream on Granville Island very soon! I have a feeling Dream is just a taste of the one-of-a-kind stuff. There must be more at the other location!

From what I know of the fabulous Miss. Sixty jeans and their hefty price tag, I wasn't too surprised to see that most items in Miss.Sixty are pricey. That being said, most of the items are totally worthy of the price tag! I had forgotten how original in design and incredibly interesting Miss.Sixty apparel was, being that the last time I had been in an actual Miss.Sixty store was in the UK many moons ago. The clothing here is meant for the man or woman who wants to stand out and make a statement, both with their clothing and their personality. These intricate designs, shiny fabrics, bold accessories and, of course, fab jeans, are not for the weak of heart and I love it! It is very reminiscent of the verve and vitality of European apparel and attitude. Another reason to adore this shop? The staff! Not one, not two, not three, but four separate staff members made a considerable effort (without being irritating) to assist me in finding what I wanted or just offering up suggestions. Sales people are not hard to come by, but great sales people are and Miss.Sixty on Robson has snatched up a good few of them. I suspect if I worked here, amongst these exciting clothes, that I too would be enjoying my work and wanting to spread the word to the customers!

The store is neatly laid out and much smaller than the location on Granville but the displays are well organized and the merchandise can easily be seen. I had walked in after my wife and I was standing around actually adding the business listing in the store while she was speaking to the staff. I already knew there wasn't a listing because the other store didn't have one either. Again my wife seemed to be interested in the leggings. The cashmere she sampled again getting a good chance to feel it she said it was good quality. Again, I'll defer to her knowledge on the subject as she knows clothes very well. The customer service and attention is very helpful and not at all at either store at any time did we feel neglected or ignored. I was also asked if I had been helped and I had said I was with my wife who was already speaking with an employee. The staff at both locations seemed helpful, patient, attentive and very knowledgeable about their products. The prices for the quality of their products is very reasonable. Cashmere is an expensive product but this is not cheap quality products being sold here.

The ladies behind the counter are always lovely and they run great sales and promotions (of special interest was their "12 Days of Christmas" in which they ran a different promotion on each of the 12 days leading up to Christmas - very cool). In my opinion, all of the clothing at Charlie & Lee is beautiful -- stylish and casual without being overly hipstery. There seems to be an emphasis on unique and flattering cuts that have a timeless edge -- like the ruched skirt, black blazer and die-cut oxfords I came away with the last time I went here. One of the things that often frustrates me with clothing shopping is the lack of really good service. I've experienced pushy salespeople who follow me around, and snobby salespeople who completely ignore me, but rarely do I encounter intellioent salespeople like the ones at Charlie and Lee. The girls who work here actually ask me what I'm looking for, choose pieces for me to try on, and then give their HONEST opinion when I step out of the changeroom. What a relief!
