Yes, there is a Banana Republic Factory Store in BC!…read more October officially marks that weird time of year when you can no longer wear your summer clothes, and you realize that you hate all your old winter clothes. Every day, getting dressed is a struggle, as nothing ever feels right. For those of us that hate shopping, this means that we're caught between our reluctance to hit the stores and our desire to feel fresh to death. My better half and I both struggled with these feelings for a good few weeks before we finally decided that some action was necessary - despite our fervent wishing for clothes to materialize out of nowhere, our wardrobes weren't refreshing themselves. Can't I F5 in real life? Please? Looking for classic pieces that might mitigate those fall blues in coming years, and not willing to drop a lot of coin, we were delighted to discover this recently opened factory store. We're students, but we don't want to look like slobs. Factory stores are a perfect compromise. It was a bit of a trip to South Surrey, and the "village" that this store is located in was sort of horrifying (I should mention, however, that there are many other outlets located here), but the deed was done (a smashing success!). Lots of selection for both men and women, at very reasonable prices. Classic pieces (like plain t-shirts) as well as more elaborate looks. Staff were friendly and efficient and the store was very tidy and well organized. In combination with the Give & Get sale that was going on, we managed to walk away with some excellent bargains.

Best shopping and most of the time, great deals!! Staff are quite helpful most of the…read moretime..sometimes it's hard to catch one when its so busy! It only would be really nice if fellow shoppers would return things instead of just dumping on the tables or just hang on the rack without putting it back on a hanger...

For someone like me visiting from the US, it's fun to come here as there are some stores that we…read moredon't have in the US, such as Purdy's Chocolates, Murchie's (tea company; https://www.murchies.com/store/about-us), Cobs Bread, and Shoppers Drug Mart. I have to say the actual mall is dated and not very uplifting with the very low ceilings. I'm sure the selection of shops is not exciting at all for people in Canada. Probably the saddest part of the mall is the food court. Three hour free parking (covered and uncovered). It's one of the closest shopping malls from the US boarder. If you're not from Canada, you might enjoy this mall as long as you come here only occasionally. Otherwise, it's probably not a mall to make a special trip to (no offense). ***************************** If you found something useful in my review, please hit "useful" so that I can improve my reviews. This is a pretty small shopping centre as compare to Metrotown, Oakridge or Richmond centre. Most…read moreof the fashion merchants are not well known: Anna Kristina, Lotus Point, Northern Reflections, Silhouette Lingerie. You won't find any Gaps or Old Navy's around here. As for the guys you have Keith Ridge Mens Wear, anyways you get the point. The mall is basically anchored by two big retailers, Zellers and Price Smart. In terms of services; there's a lottery kiosk, liquor store, ticketmaster, etc. The selection at the food court is slim pickins: fortune wok, Fresh Slice pizza, Orange Julius, Kuroishi, A&W, Nibblers, Pick and Chews. Luckily, there's White Spot and Earls near the Entrance. There's also a CIBC and RBC.
