Easy 2 hr drive from Seattle on a Fri early afternoon in Oct. Free parking (although free electric…read morecar charger was broken; they said we could plug our own level 1 cord into a lamp post but we didn't because of rain). We loved our one king water view patio (1132)- very clean (despite being dog-friendly), comfortable, and spacious, didn't have to worry about our toddler bothering anyone downstairs, and easy access to the front lawn and water. We brought our own Guava crib and SlumberPod cover. Glad we brought our sound machine as there is sound from other guests since our room was close to lobby. We didn't try Packers or cafe given recent reviews. Instead we made the 5 min drive to Great Heron Grill at the golf course for one dinner, which was a great choice, and the next day had breakfast and lunch from home (fridge and microwave very helpful for this). Heated pool was great for toddler and hot tub was nice for adults. Hoping to take advantage of fitness classes, sauna, spa, smores and Packers next time.

Hard to write a negative review because the atmosphere and weather were beautiful! Checking was…read moreok, except not sure a $15 charge for a 1hr early checkin is reasonable when you are paying $409/night for the room. I thought I reserved a water view but apparently didn't, so I switched to a water view room for the 2nd night. They said since we were just switching rooms they'd let staff know so they'd do our room 1st...didn't happen, our room was actually ready after the 4pm checking. Time so we were in limbo. Restaurant was a nightmare, kitchen bar was sadly understaffed. We got there early for our 6:30 reservation, had to wait which is reasonable since we were early but they started seating walk-in sat 6:35 and we questioned it and suddenly our table was ready. Waitress was absent most of the time, she literally walked away from our table Mid order because she got distracted. 20min later we flagged down our bus boy and eventually got out waitress. Dinner arrived around 8:30 (6:30 reservation) and was just my husbands barely warm fish and chips, my food arrived a bit later. We just got it to go and left, $120 We won't get back in a resort restaurant that should've been better

New owners have really done a nice job on this place. I have stayed here 3 times over the last 20…read moreyears. Major improvements have been made. Everything is spotless. Beds, bedding, towels, carpet, fridge. We had really great service. I called and changed plans due to family numbers. They were totally accommodating. We had several folks, 10 rooms, here for a Steamboat Meet and everyone had positive reviews of this place. This is an old hotel. The toilets are lower than I am used to, a grab bar would be helpful. The shower head is also low. A handheld would make things easier. Wi-Fi and tv worked well. More than enough hangars. Soap, conditioner and shampoo dispensers. I usually loathe these things, but they were very lightly scented and seemed to be a good product. Good ice machine. Coin Op washer/dryer available. A small notepad and pen would have been appreciated and would be a small expenditure but a good reminder to use and take home. We were half a mile from the marina and the BC Border. We won't hesitate to stay here again.

Would give zero stars if I could. Was traveling and having issues with my wi-fi connection, so I…read morecalled to inquire about a double queen room. Extremely rude "person" quoted me $590.00 per night. When asked for said rude person to confirm that that they did not mean $59.00, the repeated back to me five-nine-zero. I am a traveler that does not mind dropping money on quality establishments, but really deplorable customer service for a fleabag hotel is unacceptable.

We have been coming to this timeshare in Birch Bay for the last 28 years. Always love the location…read moreof the resort because it is so peaceful and serene with great clamming close by. It is also very close to Richmond in Canada where we love to go for good Cantonese food. This last trip was the second time we managed to book a presidential suite with a private hot tub in the balcony. The unit is a bit dated, but spacious and comfortable. It's also very good to know that they send service personnel to check the hot tub every other day. The resort also has clamming equipment that can be borrowed. We got a lot of huge cockles and horse clams on the beach in the Birch Bay State Park which is about a mile away. We always have a great time at this resort.

Quiet town just south of the Canadian border [Blaine WA]…read more This was our home for four nights. We chose this place because we wanted to visit some sites in Canada. This is the closest WorldMark to the U.S. Canada Border in Blaine, which is about 6.5 miles drive from the resort. We arrived around 1:00a, check-in was fast and we were given our key cards and parking pass. As all of WorldMark by Wyndham resorts the unit was clean with a fully-equipped kitchen including a microwave, refrigerator, and stovetop along with a separate living area. We had a studio unit (only one available at time of booking) and our room was on the 5th floor. As always during our trips we never get to enjoy the hotel amenities (pool, recreation area, etc) since we always start our day out early and arrive back late. Can't waste any adventure time while on vacation. For our last evening we walked across the street to Bay Breeze Restaurant & Bar. We had a pleasant stay at this Worldmark location even though we were out most of the time. Review #3623
