My sister wore the hand towel as a bib to protect herself from the miniature Twin Falls in our bathroom's sink!

Tim Burnett, you should leave light off! This place was awlful. First we were told that the heat in the entire complex had been turned off for the summer, but we could get extra blankets. That wouldn't have been bad except the night-time temperture dropped down to about 40- degrees F! Our overnight stay became more like an indoor camping experience! Then we discovered that the water in the sink spigot sprays rather than streams at such a high velocity that you get sprayed all over your front unless you turn the faucet to barely a trickle of water. The combination bathroom light/fan was so loud, we felt as if we were camping next to a busy airport runway. Finally when we checked-out, we were told our receipt would be e-mailed to us. That was three days ago, and we're still waiting for our receipt. I'm giving this establishment 1-star rating because I could give it a -4 stars rating, and because the shower designer thought it out well-enough to have the shower head installed facing back towards the shower walls instead of towards shower curtain with broken shower ring eyelets. At least the shower curtain did not flay out and get the floor all wet.

I can't remember the last time I stayed in a motel that was this good a value! The room is super clean and so was the lobby and although the room is very stripped down and minimalist, it is very up to date. If you're not looking for luxury but just a very clean, very cheap place to sleep, you can't do better than here!

Only issue was the water pressure in the shower. Other than that a great motel to stay at. Beds were comfy.

Wow! I am truly amazed at how fantastic this property is. I travel a bit and usually stay at…read moreMarriott locations, so I understand that the Fairfield is typically on the more economical end. This one, however, is changing that stereotype. First off, everything is immaculately clean and well maintained. The lobby area has gorgeous furniture (my mom even looked it up because she fell in love with some chairs-but learned that they were far too rich for her budget!) The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast area was as clean as I keep my kitchen at home (which is saying something.) What really made this stay stick out was the service. I requested an early check in due to some scheduling things and we were able to get that-no problem. Then, my son's glasses broke and we ran into Steven, a maintenance employee, who cheerfully offered electrical tape and the use of his scissors for us to makeshift fix them. I don't find myself in Twin Falls often, but if I come through again, I'll be happy to stay here in the future.

Gym small but very clean. No bike let alone recumbent bike. That was disappointing. No ball for a work either. At night it was fine but in the morning it was packed. By packed I mean 4 people on the 4 machines! Room was big and clean. Bed immaculate. Cool curtains. Tub a little old but water pressure great. And bathroom was big. Not sure I'd stay again if I could find a hotel with a recumbent bike. After all the sitting in meetings and on the airplane, I need to work my knee out.

The stay at the Inn: The rooms were beautiful and spacious with comfortable beds. Each a little different with their own charm and flare. The living room was gorgeous with exposed beams and I loved sitting on the couch and reading a book in the afternoon sunlight. The owner said the goal is to feel at home and she totally nailed it. The food: At check in you find homemade cookies in your room which taste amazing. The owner checks any allergies and preferences and then prepares an amazing breakfast in the morning which is included in the cost of stay. Each day was different and fantastic. I think I will be dreaming of that coffee cake and biscuits/gravy casserole until I return! Fillmore Inn as an event space: We rented all the rooms and had a bridal shower in the backyard. It was the perfect event space! The backyard was a gorgeous backdrop for the shower and Denise the owner was so incredibly helpful with all the details along the way and during the event. We will definitely return anytime we are in Twin Falls! I would give the place more than five stars if I could!

Suggestion: If you want a cart you provide a $50 deposit (charged to your room) and if the cart is not returned in 30 minutes you lose the deposit. I should not have to make 8 trips back and forth at check-in to shuttle my belongings from a full-size SUV packed for a 3 week roadtrip (everyone knows not to leave a single item in their vehicle overnight). When arriving and expressing our disbelief that there were no luggage carts available the young girl at the front desk laughed and told us we just needed to wait. Great example of 0/10 customer service. While we were unnecessarily making all of these trips from our vehicle to our room to get everything unloaded we were dodging people openly consuming alcohol from what looked like a bar right next to the front desk. Super enjoyable dealing with drunks in the lobby and elevators when you're just trying to call it a night after a long day. Our room was $225+ with fees/taxes which is too much for a simple Garden Inn, especially this one. Parking is shared with a diner and there is not enough of it. The room felt large due to high ceilings. Although the lighting in the bathroom was great, in the bedroom it was dim. Good location if you need shopping (Costco, Walmart, a mall) or dining (Denny's, Black Bear Diner, Culver's, Chick-fil-A). This property reminds me of why we try to only stay at Homewood Suites or Home2 Suites which is that you pay the same price for a Garden Inn and get so much less in return.

It's directly across the street from Costco Warehouse and gas station. A Chevron is also on the other corner. There is a Target right next door. We checked in late afternoon and the girl working the front desk was super friendly and helpful. She carefully explained everything that was available to us. The rest of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful as well. The room was very clean and comfortable. And very large! This room had a king bed, sofa sleeper, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. We both had two very solid and restful nights of sleep here. Most of the guests seemed to be contract workers so the morning breakfast was a little busier but they don't stick around long as they have to get to work. Definitely deserving of this 5 star review.

The rooms are fine but there's one reason why wouldn't recommend staying here. Every light in the…read moreroom has a LED type of light which emits brilliant blue-white light. Why is this a problem? It's not a problem if you're waking up -- but have these lights on in the evening, you'll have difficulty sleeping. Brilliant blue-frequency light signals the brain to wake up. Spend 8 minutes in this light and your brain begins waking you up. After much longer, the hormones your brain releases, for example, helps energize you if you're suffering from jet lag (interruption of your sleep cycle). You'll spend a sleepless night, wondering why -- and once exposed, insomnia is inevitable. We got to the hotel too late to change hotels -- and after having the lights on for a little more than an hour, even covering the lights to lower the intensity, our sleep was badly disturbed (got less than 4 hours of broken sleep). We were both exhausted getting to the hotel, and after 10 hours, left in worse shape.
