Between the late-night coughing symphony, a barking dog, and a surprise 6am leaf-blower/dumpster concert, sleep was more of a concept than a reality. We had a great stay overnight here while transporting one of our fosters dogs to his new home. This hotel was extremely well maintained and clean, parking is good, staff is friendly, brewed coffee available in morning in lobby and a snack vending machine. This hotel is dog friendly with lots areas to take your dog out, and of course they do not charge you a pet fee like many others will do. We had a great stay. read more

We stayed at the Motel 6 in Twin Falls. We picked it because it was the least expensive and it had a pool. What we liked about it? The room was clean. Housekeeping did a good job. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large. The pool was outdoors and not at all crowded and they did supply towels. What needed improvement? The internet was terrible. No problem connecting to the WIFI, but connecting to the internet took forever. There was soap, but no shampoo nor lotion. It was freezing in our room. The temperature hit 99 so I'm thrilled the AC worked, but it took hours for our room to warm up and there were no extra blankets nor extra pillows. The toilet shot water on the floor when flushing. I could get over everything except the internet. That is critical. read more

I can't remember the last time I stayed in a motel that was this good a value! The room is super clean and so was the lobby and although the room is very stripped down and minimalist, it is very up to date. If you're not looking for luxury but just a very clean, very cheap place to sleep, you can't do better than here! read more

This Motel 6 is located across the street from a few car dealerships and is in a prime location for numerous of shops and restaurants. Most Motel 6 are dog friendly and do not charge a fee (with an exception of very few locations). I don't normally stay in Motel 6 places but being that most of the hotels in Twin Falls are pretty expensive, Motel 6 seemed to be the cheapest (which was $125+ with tax per night). Since I was only going to stay for one night with my husband and our little girl dog, I figured one night couldn't hurt. We arrived yesterday to check in a little after 5 pm. We were greeted by a friendly manager and a new employee being trained. Check in was quick and we were off to unloading our car and getting into our room. I made a reservation for this hotel through Hotels.com but realized later that I accidentally reserved a queen size bed with accessibility. I don't have a physical need for this room and wanted to see if we could get another room so that this room would be available to someone who did need it. But when I went back to the front desk, the manager told me the only rooms left were two double beds in a room (please note that there aren't any king size beds here). The manager said that typically those that may need these type of rooms need to reserve in advance and so she said it was fine for us to stay in this room. She also thanked me for checking with her if another patron would be needing this room. Anyways, the room itself is small. This isn't a problem but the walls are very thin. We heard walking and running upstairs and outside our room during our stay. The worse thing though was our neighbor's TV. We heard it loud and clear (not that the TV was on full blast but the walls really have no noise blocking insulation) in addition to the conversation this person had on the phone. This wasn't a problem during the day and later into the evening but it was definitely a problem this morning at 6 am when the neighbor decided to watch the news until 8 am (and I wasn't planning on waking up until 8 am). If you are a light sleeper like me, you may not want to stay here. But if you sleep like a log like my husband then this shouldn't be a problem. I have been rather sleep deprived since this morning and really wished I had gotten more sleep last night. Please note that there is free WiFi available but it is incredible slow. There is grass available for dogs to relieve themselves and also poop bags provided. There is also complimentary hot water (for tea) and coffee in the lobby from 6-9 am each morning. I wouldn't stay here again and would consider driving to the next big town (Boise) to find other hotel accomodations. read more

Staff was very polite! They just went through a remodel, big new TVs and very clean rooms. I stayed here twice and pets stay free! Only thing I would recommend is bringing your own shampoo and conditioner because they only have bar soaps. read more

So normally when I have stayied at this motel 6 I was always treated well and my room was clean. I stayed ther for two days this time. The wheather had been bad lots of snow and rain. When getting ready to leave i slipped in the park lot outside my room. I hit the ground hurt myself pretty good, it took me a couple of minutes to even beable to get up. I had to crawl a couple of feet just to get a safe place to stand. Went back in the room and called front desk. I wanted to make a report because you never know how bad your hurt. But was told that the was no manager on duty. The lady showed no concern if i was even ok. After sitting on the bed for about 10 minutes my husband and i went to the office. When i went inside i asked forthr managers nae and left my contact info. The lady at the front desk said to me if i am looking to collect disability they wont pay. I was totaly shocked by her insult but she never even asked if i was ok or showed any concern. A few hours later, the manager had her call me back and ask me what time I feel still no concerns whether I was okay or not. After telling her approximately the time that I had fallen she told me that the manager would check the cameras and then make a report. Not once did I receive a phone call back from the manager to ask me if I was o k or anything. Treated me as if I was just trying.To do a scam on them. Needless to say I will never go back there with the way I was treated after falling and getting hurt. The front desk lady treated me with such disrespect and rudeness.she talked me and treated me as if i made it up or did it on purpose. I know there are people who do but I am not one of them. She doesn't deserve to be in a position that she's in. I'm Lucky that I didn't get hurt worse than I did. For the manager herself, not to even call me.She should lose her job. I will be contacting the corporate office on this for how I was treated. And I will never give them my business again. read more

Staff knew I work nights and would call/knock multiple times during the day and wake me up. I gave them several chances to change this and they did not. Front desk and management were rude and inappropriate. It was below freezing and the heat did not work. Bathroom was filthy. Refused to move me unless I paid them more money. If I could give this motel a negative star review, I definitely would. First and foremost, the smell radiating from the air around the building was atrocious. The simple way to describe it was rotting dead animal and fresh human urine. The office floor was littered with dirt and trash. The lady that assisted me at the front desk was short and kind of a prude. The general manager, Lorena, came out of the back and went straight to talking about all the latest and greatest drama. Ragging about her other employees and how her job is just so stressful. After she finally noticed there were customers in the lobby, she quickly stopped talking. The room was below mediocre. It was cold and damp. There were stains on the sheets and dust on the table. The neighboring room was what we would define as a 'crackhead', coming over to our door and knocking and asking all sorts of strange questions. The parking situation was also God awful. To give an ounce of benefit of doubt, they are having the parking lot remodeled so only half of it is accessible. When I didn't think our visit could get any worse, I went outside to walk my dog and there was a gentleman squatting next to the dumpster taking a crap. When I called to let the front desk know and vent my frustration, nobody answered the phone. Mind you, we did try to call the front desk on multiple occasions to try to get some issues resolved. But each time we either didn't get an answer or we were told "we will have someone come over and see what the issue is" and we never saw anyone. We finally decided to cut our loses on our money and move to a different hotel in town. A hotel that was nothing but accommodating and understanding when we explained our recent horror. This hotel also informed us that they had nighttime security who handles all sorts of issues and gave us the direct number to the company if we needed them. Maybe motel 6 should invest in some security for crazy situations. I would never recommend this motel to anyone and you will never catch me staying at this place ever again. The owner should be ashamed of themselves and who they have running their motel. I will absolutely be reaching out to the Better Business Bureau. I hope that sometime in the future this place gets put into better hands. Considering it is basically center stage of the entrance to the beautiful Twin Falls. read more

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at in my life. The building is in shambles, pain peeling everywhere, the upper balcony looks (and sounds, but more on that) as if it's going to collapse. The room smelled terrible. It was tiny, everything wobbled, the table, the chairs. The heater didn't work at all and in its place was a tiny, literally greasy, space heater, completely ineffective and probably unsafe. But this hotel was so loud sleep was absolutely impossible. EVERY step above me sounded like the building was about to collapse, I could hear the road as if it was running through my hotel. The most depressing stay I've had in years. This is what complete and utter apathy looks like, clearly no one here just cares at all. I had paid for two nights, but left immediately the next morning to find another hotel. Of course they didn't give me a refund on my second day, but i was happy to pay it to get out of that hellhole. A solid three stars. It wasn't rocking the red carpet in any one way or another, but no cosmic misses, either. The laminate floors are of the Lowe's variety, and the first I've seen in any motel, but for my money, I'd rather have the slightly cooler feel under my feet than that of a commercial carpet that was last cleaned heaven-knows-when. Corner shower unit that I'm strangely fond of (dunno, makes the bathroom seem less claustrophobic than the full tub setup). I'm surprised that those were queen-sized beds (seemed almost like a full with a queen-sized name, but call me a skeptic -- who felt trapped on the teeny bed seemingly not intended for two adults). A fairly good-sized motel; five buildings with a pool (though closed for the season, but it is November already). So we were traveling from Seattle to Oklahoma City two weeks ago. Got to this motel 6 in twin falls . Go in and try to get a room. Needless to say it didn't happen because the desk people were very Rude. So I took my business elsewhere. There's no need to be rude to a mom and two kids who've been driving non stop who just wanted a room for a few hours to sleep. Well I can't expect a lot from motel 6 even for a higher price. I think we got a massaging bed for no extra charge because the springs were poking into my back all night. We were on the bottom floor and the people above were stomping around all night. The walls had a lot of gross things on them. They definitely haven't been washed in ages. I luckily carry Lysol wipes so I helped the housekeepers out a little. Knowing what I know now I would definitely pay the extra $20 for a better hotel. read more

It's definitely worth the price to stay here. The rooms are great and warm when you come in, I always have to turn off after being in here after like 15 mins cause it gets so hot . I love how it's clean and staff has been super friendly . I do have to worn you if your expecting shampoo and conditioner in those little bottles they do not have them. Only in the vending machine ($2.75 a piece ) Which I think is out rageous, but if you need to wash your hair than you'll pay it . I did talk to a nice gentleman up front about why they don't offer them in rooms, he says he's not sure he assumes it has to do with they are " low budget" but only corporate would know . So if you plan on staying for days or weeks I'd bring or buy your own. They also serve hot tea and coffee in the AM.! I wish they would like a muffin or something real simple . But they do have vending machines . WiFi is free here (: I think it's a great motel, very much to like . If you come in the summer, their is a pool to enjoy outside . Reasonable price for the good conditions. Rooms are clean and simple. A good addition to it is the swimming pool in the back which is also maintained. Stayed in couple times and would stay for a night. I really appreciate crew's work: they are always ready to help, especially Lorena - reception desk woman. Have stayed here in the past and noticed the floor had been replaced with a wood laminate (better for allergy sufferers and cleanup) and not carpet. Floor was incredibly wavy and felt like the laminate was bubbling or coming unglued in some places. Did not like this laminate though it would be easier to clean up after dogs. Many people in the hotel did have dogs though we did not. Some 2nd floor rooms not located near stairs. No elevator because this is Motel 6 and Motel 6 is VERY BASIC. Room doors are outdoor accessible (where you access them without going through an indoor hallway). This motel was $49.99 plus $6 for 2nd person so it was about $60 with tax for weekday summer rate. Kids under 18 stay free. No bathtub - just small round shower. Has OUTDOOR pool. Houses located next door to motel. Bar soap provided. Shampoo not provided. Uncomfortable beds. Room has A/C. This Motel 6 was okay, but I don't think that I would not stay here again because of the wavy uneven and laminate floor. read more

Motel 6 in Twin Falls wins again for us. Ended up in a pickle traveling from WA to Las Vegas when my car key decided to stop working. It's chipped and a smart key so it was such a hassle, especially in 100degrees weather with my dog. SO LUCKY for us that we were three blocks from Motel 6 and had even stayed there before. We ended up having to stay the night and get our spare key shipped over-night to our hotel. The front desk people were excellent in helping us and hooked us up with a room right away. They understood our situation and were sympathetic to it. So after a hectic few hours of moving everything in the car (windows were stuck down and it wouldn't lock), including my dog who had a hurt leg, and making sure we got the key shipped from Vegas we were able to jump in the pool and relax for a bit. The following morning as we tried to wait patiently for the key to arrive, the front desk did the same as we kept checking in with them but they called right away when it finally arrived and even clapped when we stopped in to say Thank You on our way out of town :) Gave 4 stars instead of 5 simply because the comforter on our extra bed was not cleaned well along with a few of the pillow cases, some hairs and stuff I found; but the rooms are great and clean in general. It was clean, comfy beds, the right price, and they have outside entrances which works well with our dog, for which they didn't even charge extra. One of the older motel 6's, really disappointed with it. Air didn't work in the room, shower was very weirdly placed and cramped, and the rudest most loud inhabitants of the hotel ever. Was woken up at 3am by my neighbors who were clearly smoking cigarettes in a non smoking room, which bled into my room, so all night my room was filled with cigarette smoke. Stayed here for a night on our way back to CA from Yellow Stone. Small, Clean and hard wood for pet rooms. Motel 6's are Pet friendly and I have not been to one that charges for pets yet. For those who don't know, Motel 6 is a basic motel without breakfast offerings. So you really do get what you are paying for. There are no Queen doubles here, so the 2 beds in a room are doubles. The room is VERY SMALL. with a good bathroom (odd in shower design, a little reminiscent of European shower stalls (small squarish, with rounded curtain). WIFI here is 2.99 per night, this was the only motel I had to pay for WIFI in which I thought was odd. Staff was courteous and nice when I checked in and out. Good for a layover, but would not recommend for a vacation stay. read more

I have always had good luck with Motel 6. I stayed here for a few days since there was a bad storm in the east. I found the room to be comfortable and rather quiet since Twin Falls sits back away from the highway. They were accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this for a traveler with pets. read more

Clerks were abrupt and cold and the morning one could barely stir herself from behind the counter. Our "non-smoking" room smelled like the inside of an ashtray overlaid with heavy-duty cleaning materials. My laminate floor was fine. Never did get dark because of the huge amount of "safety" light outside our room. If I hadn't been spoiled by the Motel 6 in Auburn, I could chalk it off to "you get what you pay for." Like that I could bring pets...but that's about it...can't wait to get out of here. read more

Less than one star. Horrifically rude staff (not one hello, welcome ir thank you)..zipped thru check in without even acknowledging me. I had asked for ground floor unit due to mobility issues and was told that would be accommodated. It was not! Instead we got an outside two sets of stairs and an around the corner walk unit. Right above the pool with screaming kids (who were having fun, but I checked LOUD fun) until about 11. Then the party started next door with yelling, laughing g, banging on walls and slamming doors. I called staff about1 am and again at2 am. I was usurped "something" would be done;but nothing was done. Around 4 am someone was trying to get back into a room and started banging on our door and several around us drunkenly demanding to be let in. Again call to staff was this is a safety issue. NOTHING was done. It became obvious their staff is trained at the do t give a shit institute. The rooms were old, beds felt like straw and the heat did not work. Check out even worse. Stayed there with 2 friends Friday 6/22/18. Outside temperature about 85 degrees. No air conditioning! As per the Front Desk gal when we checked out Saturday morning it has not been working as long as she has worked there which was 3 months. Failed to mention the problem when we checked in but happy to take our money for two rooms. Drenched with sweat trying to sleep despite being buck naked on top of the sheets. Water pressure sink and shower somewhere between a trickle and not much at all. We surmised while continuing the trip that it must be a franchise motel owned by some seriously cheap SOB. Guess what? Company owned. I know Motel 6. I was not expecting 5 Star all inclusive but this was far beyond the pale. Methinks never again at any Motel 6. read more

The rooms would have been fine but the lack of a hairdryer, hot water, lack luster water pressure, shampoo and the nerve to charge for Wifi make this motel very unappealing. I would only recommend this place if you just need a bed to sleep in and your stay is short.
