This was the worst hotel experience I've had in my life. We tried to check in at 1am after a long day and desperately wanted to shower and go to sleep. Unfortunately when walking into our room it had trash, including toothbrushes of the previous guest and the beds had not been touched. We let the woman in the front know and she offered to turn the room over. We thanked her and then 45 minutes later we were in our room. However there was a man screaming and talking to himself at full volume on the other side of our wall... We tried to give the very kind front desk worker the benefit of the doubt that she hadn't heard him yelling while she changed our sheets for 45 minutes but after 20 minutes of not being able to fall asleep I called to the front desk to let her know. She assured me that she would look into it but the screaming continued for another hour. Multiple people came to the door of the man who was screaming to ask him to be quiet but nothing helped. I eventually called down a 2nd time. It was about 3:30 am, 2 and a half hours after we arrived, and the woman at the front desk stated that she had called to the room next door but no one had answered...i then requested that she either check herself or call the police if she felt unsafe. I know I felt unsafe, which is why I could not fall asleep. I did hear her walk past our room to talk to him and he quieted down around 4 am. At no point was I ever offered a refund. Not when we showed up to a trash filled/dirty room, not when we had to wait 45 minutes to shower. No offer of a refund when I had to call down to ask for help with a screaming man who was clearly unwell. No offer after the second call over an hour later when my first call had been mostly dismissed. In the morning I spoke with the front desk worker, Robert, who listened patiently and reviewed the notes but was only able to offer a 50% discount. I request that he speak with his boss and listened as he called...after everything was relayed I was told again that there was no possible way to refund me my full $60. Why? Because we slept in the bed so we had to pay. Even though the bed was neither ready and trust me when I say...I spent the night more terrified than rested. I asked the front desk worker in the morning to please reach out to me if something could be done...even a room comp to another Motel 6 in the future...but nope. All that was offered in addition was a snarky comment about how I could take as many of the dirty mattresses in the parking lot.... So I urge you, stay far away. Because while the workers are mostly kind, whoever owns this hotel has no regard for his customers read more

After lots of driving, we were so happy to pull into a clean, safe room and know we could get a good night's sleep and drive the other half of the way home the next day! We checked in and the bathroom was gross, dirty toilet/seat, dirty sink, as well as the kitchen sink being dirty. They half assed as far as cleaning. Towels were stained, shower had hair in it... hopefully the towels were just stained! I was nervous to sleep on the bed/sheets so praying they were washed and clean, Window opens but no screen Very rude customer service as well! Location is whatever.. Be cautious and bitch/complain to everyone including manager and corporate... Motel 6 has definitely gone down hill but I have never had a problem with this much of nastiness!! read more

Receptionist: very good. Did not go thru a monologue on hotel features, which is OK with me. 13 years since this was a Ramada. Room: There were four negatives I saw pretty quickly. The first was a slight smoky smell in the room. Opening the window took care of that fairly quickly. The second thing was that all vinyl flooring. On the one hand I missed carpeting, but it probably means a cleaner floor. The third thing was the missing sink stopper, and the last one is three small cigarette burns in the bedspread. Other than these the room looked very clean the sheets were in good shape and I felt safe. read more

Cmon guys, you can read my other reviews and know I'm pretty positive. But this dump smells like an "asstray". I can't believe Motel 6 let's this place keep the name. So dirty, so smelly, burn marks on the blankets, skid marks in the toilet and hookers in the lobby. I am truly concerned about my health...it's 8 years since my Heppy vaccination and I'm due for a tetanus shot. We wanted a quick place to stop overnight on the way to another destination. This place was a dump. It was not very clean, there were burnholes in the bedding, a hole punched in the bathroom door, and the hallway was filthy. We will avoid Motel 6 in the future. read more

You can Hear the TV from the guest next-door through their gas door thing. Visible damage / scrapes on wall not painted. Toilet not anchored to floor. Nice floors and sink/faucet are new. Fancy entry lock is passive(no slide in). Tv hdtv but tiny and low attached to dresser/ not on wall where you could see it lying down on bed. Small microwave and small fridge. Drive up to door Motel style. read more

Clean rooms, good price and the woman at the desk was really nice and helpful. I will stay here again. Only problem was noisy children upstairs running back and forth til 3am and up at 7am pounding on the floor again. I feel I should have been comped for another night but we all know that's not going to happen. read more

Found candy under both beds only stayed the one night and didnt see this until the next morning so the rooms in my opinion r not cleaned very well if i would of noticed this before my stay i would of asked for a refund i have pictures to prove it very nasty read more

If you are desperate for a place to sleep then this is it. Although you probably wont sleep well as the beds are hard as a rock. The 1980s cigarette burned bed spread, flat pillows, dirty sheets are not my idea of a good nights sleep. No alarm clock, no microwave, no refrigerator. One vending area which is conveniently located by the front desk. I was on the 2nd floor towards the end so the walk was inconvenient. questionable people outside kept me on guard while walking in. The Georgetown Motel 6 is the typical one night only kinda motel. Europeans would rate it as slightly overpriced hostel. Small beds, fake wood tile floor (what likely gives guests sleeping below your room a hard time if you walk in high heels), no fridge, no hairdryer, no extras. Complimentary wifi not provided. Wasn't expecting much, but got way less than our expectations. DIRTY! Floors are filthy, grimy, dusty, buggy, etc. No carpet which is great but need to be swept and mopped. Kids feet from just main area were black. Remote control and light switch plates were covered in black gunk. We checked in and opened up the side door...thought I walked into a giant cigarette box. Not kidding! Hoped our rooms were non-smoking. Room 1 was Not :( stunk like smoke, so turned on the air and left for a couple of hours. Room 2 was fine. We came back to our rooms and started to unpack. Room #1 now smelled like smoke and feet. Hot water was cold & cold water was hot. Toilet didn't flush tp. Sink was slow draining. Room #2 phone went bizerk during the night. Had to be unplugged. Doors need to be PULLED or slammed shut. Kids were running thru halls at night screaming boo while mommy was hushing them...but didn't hear others inside their rooms. Beds and pillows were soft and comfy. This is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in (it was the only option due to high traffic in the area.) The room was not clean, the dead bolt on the door did not lock, the beds are like rocks, and the bathroom is disgusting as well. I didn't even get to sleep through the night because they have housecleaning cleaning rooms AT NIGHT. Also they take no interest If you have a noise complaint (I couldn't sleep from 2 am until 3:30). Bottom line: they are dirty and unprofessional here. Spend your money somewhere else and use this as a last resort read more

Place needs a makeover , for what's offered currently it's a 10$ a night kind of hotel in my opinion. Air bnb was cheaper and WAAYYY nicer

Where do I start? We booked for three days for a horse show at the KY Horse Park. We arrived at 2:30AM and were given Rm 110. As soon as we pulled the sheets back to get into bed, a HUGE disgusting BROWN stain was obvious on the sheets. We were exhausted and legitimately thought about just putting the flat sheet over it and going to bed, but we couldn't. I asked for a new room and Thomas (?) gave us Rm 166 in the opposite wing after warning us that this wing tended to be less reliably "clean" then the wing we had asked to be moved from. And he was right. It was gross. Very dirty floors. Cobwebs. My socks were dark brown after walking and I was worried about bedbugs----didn't find any. Neither one of us could sleep so we checked out after 6 hours. Now, WAIT FOR IT....I called and asked for a refund and the first person at the hotel I spoke to said we had never checked out and were still in our room. What???? I had to argue with them. I even referenced the booking number for the other hotel I had to book instead at a much greater expense. So the person, a woman, said she fixed the issue and that the manager would call me the next day. He did and told me I had to call hotels.com as they booked it for me. I called them, and they claimed they could not refund my money because the hotel was ONCE AGAIN CLAIMING THAT WE HAD NEVER CHECKED OUT AND WERE STILL THERE....(cue me losing my mind). In the end, Hotels.com did refund my money from their funds as the hotel refused to refund it to me directly---or to refund the monies to hotels.com either. In other words...DO NOT STAY HERE. I know it's cheap but it is a total ripoff!! read more

Floor was linoleum and sticky, walls were sticky, towels were course and rough, no blow dryer, no shampoo and conditioner condiments, pillows were about 2 1/2 inches thick (flat as a pancake), they don't enforce smoking policy (hallways smell like smoke in non smoking areas), and no continental breakfast. Sorry so long, we just left this motel and there wasn't enough hot water pressure left for me to take a showers after my husband took his shower. I'm a little P.O.ed!!! read more

Guy upstairs walked around like he was 400 lbs. Turns out he wasn't. When I complained to front desk, they did nothing but offered me a new room. When staying at a Motel. I like to rest. I do not care what time of day it is there is no reason for housekeeping to scream to one another while working on the floor! Like from one end to the other! Just going in and out of rooms slamming everything and gossiping about there lives all the way down the walkways. It was loud and disruptive. Extremely unprofessional. It took me over 3 hours to be able to settle in because of the yelling and banging. Being by the highway is horrid. I wish I would have thought that through. Jack in the box next door and all the noise and traffic did not go over well with the constant noise. The rooms!!! The walls are thin! Some younger kids checked in right next to me and kept me up all night. They were not loud. It's just that the walls are that thin!!! My window had no screen. The top lock bar did not work. Never again. Nope I checked out by 6 am. No way was I staying till check out at 11:00. I woke my ride up to get me out of that nightmare . read more
