    dirty fingerprints on window covering

This property brings reputation damage to the Motel 6 brand. The hotel had significant deferred maintenance, guest rooms are in disrepair and heavily soiled with both tobacco and marijuana smoke damage. Reception Staff could not explain why a $100. deposit was collected upon check-in. Was told it was for incidentals. This property has no incidentals. In fact, shampoo/conditioner was not offered on in the bathroom, however, was sold in a vending machine somewhere on the property. I felt very insulted with this stay, and fortunately for me it was brief.

    Microwave on fire and melted

How horrid. I stayed here awhile ago and was not impressed, but decided to try again. I complained about the cigarette smoke, pot and cigar smoke on the third floor. It is literally a fog on the entire third floor. I did speak to the gal working at the front desk and she informed me that those were the smoking rooms, I was not aware we had smoking rooms in the state of California. Regardless, I have no idea how the smoke alarms are not going off. The beds are pretty darn old in this place and make horrible sounds, the TVs are small and not impressive. And my microwave caught on fire while I was making popcorn. The base of the microwave is filthy and Burnt, Another words, it has not been cleaned. I found some meatballs next to the air conditioning unit which is tucked into the wall. And the TV remote does not work remotely well. Pretty much this is it for me. I will be staying down the road and paying $20 more to stay at the best Western plus. I don't know how companies like this can continue to be this crappy and make money. Nor do I understand how they are not constantly calling the fire department because of electrical issues and the smoke in the hallway.

    broken AC door, damaged walls

By far the most disgusting room I've ever been in. If i was not super tired from a long drive late in the evening, I would have left to find another place to stay. Room 309 right by the elevator looks like it has not been maintained since it got built. Ill start off with the bathroom...extremely unacceptable. The toilet seat is worn and damaged, looks disgusting. The towel holder where they put "clean" towels is full of dust/dirt and towels are stained and nasty. No shampoo in the showers. Shower head is extremely old and dirty. Things were rusted, the bath walls are damaged. I can't believe they book these rooms in this condition. The bed area is also old and run down. The couched has not been cleaned and has dirt/stains BAKED on the arm rests. No one should sit in that, no one. The desk "chair" has seen better days, super worn out and disgusting looking. How is that even allowed in the room? There are stains all over the rooms, in the walls, on the ground and even the beds. The room was next to the elevator and ice machine... so guess what you can hear EVERYTHING. People filling their buckets with ice, people coming in and out of the elevator... This was by far the WORST room I've ever been in. I wish I wasn't so tired that I would have left on the spot.

Not only is my room huge but I have a sofa bed (besides my queen bed), a fridge, microwave, and GRANITE counter tops.

When we arrived around 10 PM, we were informed that our reserved King room was no longer available and had been given away. We were downgraded to a Double Queen. We were never notified in advance -- and our cancellation window had expired three days prior. There was no phone call, no email, and no communication that our confirmed room type would not be honored. Had we known before the cancellation deadline, we would have made other arrangements, especially given that this was a holiday stay. At 10 PM on Valentine's Day, finding another hotel wasn't realistic, so we accepted the downgrade. Unfortunately, the experience didn't end there. Loud music began playing somewhere within the building at 7:00 AM and continued for nearly two hours until we finally got up to get dressed as sleeping in was no longer an option. We were not on a lobby floor, and the volume was significant enough to disrupt the morning. After a late holiday evening, that was not the expectation. The room itself was clean and the check-in associate was polite, but the lack of advance communication, the room downgrade, and the early morning noise significantly impacted what was meant to be a relaxing Valentine's stay. We hope management addresses these concerns appropriately.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Also not squeaky. Free breakfast and free parking were a big plus. The hotel has a pool, gym, and newer washers and dryers. Staff mentioned the property is about six years old, and it definitely feels well maintained. No complaints at all, worth the price. Friendly and helpful staff. We also liked the location. It felt safe, close to shopping and Vacaville outlets, and about a 30-minute evening drive to downtown Napa. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The common areas are clean and attractive. I was at the hotel for a multiple day meeting and I thought the meeting space was nice. I appreciated that the meeting rooms had doors that opened to the parking lot, so it was easy to move supplies in and out of the meeting rooms. There's a hot breakfast in the morning. The coffee was good. The staff, including the housekeepers, were kind, friendly, and accommodating. The one place where this hotel needs improvement is in the sleeping rooms. Or to be specific, room 331. When entering the room it smelled like either a smelly dog stayed there or a man with poor hygiene habits lives there. It's a double queen room and the mattress on the bed next to the window needs to be replaced. The mattress has an impression in the middle and I could feel the mattress springs. The pillows also need replacing as they were flat and uncomfortable. If not tightly closed, the bathroom door slowly and loudly swings open during the night, which is frightening as it seems someone has entered the room. The coffeemaker is on a dark shelf with a burned out light bulb, making it impossible to find the outlet to plug the coffeemaker in unless you have a flashlight. Normally I would knock off more stars, but I think that this room may be an anomaly. It is on the top floor at the end of the hall, so it is probably one of the most quiet rooms in the hotel as you don't have noise above you, only one room next to you, and no loud talkers walking past the room. Therefore, it's probably a high usage room frequently requested by hotel regulars. A good friend of mine who also stayed at the hotel had no complaints about her room, which makes me think this room is an anomaly for the hotel.

Milk, chocolate milk, yogurt, few juice flavors were available, seems like 24/7. Their complimentary breakfast does not start until 6am, but when a staff saw us at 5am in the lobby, he informed us that bagels were already available. There were other staff we talked too during our stay and I could not emphasize enough how friendly, professional and helpful they all are.

When we got to the lobby, we were greeted by the pleasant scent of the spa and a complementary glass of wine. The lobby was gorgeous. There was a nice fire going with plenty of seating, even some mounted down tablets where kids can play games. Outside, there is a ton of patio seating as well. There are fire pits, cozy chairs, and a pool (that seems to be more of a puddle). This hotel is unique in that it promotes socialization. I noticed that there is an abundance of seating not just in the lobby, but on the room floors as well. With the wine and fire pits, it makes for the perfect evening to chat with the other guests. The rooms are also super nice! They were spacious and very clean. The shower was huge with two high-powered shower heads. The shampoo and conditioners bottles were high quality and smelled very nice too. We paid a $75 pet fee and the room, to my pleasant surprise, came furnished with a dog bed and pet food bowl. This hotel is very dog friendly! I would say though that the lighting in the room was very minimal. There was no overhead lighting; just a few lamps that directed light down. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Winters and would love to stay here again!

We had to stay here for a conference. This CA town has a population of 7500 people. Everyone knows each other and there are 4-6 big families known here from the town's origination. We were greeted upon arrival at the hotel registration desk. The registration is two large sit down desks with the hotel agents offering a glass of wine at check in. There is 1 restaurant attached to the hotel, and it is only open for most business from 4-9 Mon-Sun. They offer a coffee shop with pastries counter service Mon-Wed 7:30a-11:30a. It's a bit inconvenient because if you work earlier than 7:30, you must walk a block to another place or drive 10 mins to Starbucks. The hotel is beautiful, very minimalistic, rustic modern, and the design is geared towards Wine Vineyard/Tuscan/Farm like decor. There is a common area in the lobby, an outside large patio with a shallow fountain pool. The inside offers a two sides fireplace with seating on both sides. A small corner next to the 2 elevators has 3 tablets that are fixed in place for guests, this seems to be a business corner in the open space. There is also conference space. Our room was nice but when we arrived, the toilet paper stand was on top of the toilet seat. This was very odd at 8:30p since they had several hours to quality check our room before we checked in late at night. The good news is that I had no itchiness after staying here. There was a clean bed, bathroom, desk, and carpet. For our 3 night stay, it was a good experience.
