Both knobs broken on loudest AC ever experienced.

Oh my god. I have stayed all over the world, sometimes in tents in foreign lands because my country asked me to. But today I can honestly say to family, "I'm sorry". I would have rather put my family in a hut in Mogadishu than make them stay one more hour in this sh*thole. We looked for a cheap place to sleep for 6 hours while traveling. I will never be so cheap again. The room keys did not work and the clerk could not fix it. He said "just go to sleep". I think I've seen him before in Benghazi. The AC sounded like a baseball bat rolling through a metal garbage can, all night. Every fixture in this unit was either bent, warped, damaged or broken. The clerk said he couldn't give us another room, because we took the last one. The parking lot appeared only about half full so I assumed the other rooms had been condemned. Don't put your family through this. If you are trying to relive an old memory you had in a disgusting 3rd world hostel, well then this is your dive. Good luck.

We stayed here very last min at 2 in the morning driving through. It was modern and clean. Our particular hotel room was clean and there wasn't anything falling apart like in the previous pictures shown. The only draw back was the bathtub. It was filthy and had not been cleaned at all so we skipped showering. The bed was comfy and I looked all around the next morning and there was nothing to complain about in the room.

My main complaint was they put a hold on my credit card for about 2 1/2 times the amount of the room. My room total was a little over 300 and they had pending charges for over 1000. Most of the charges came off, but if you are using a debit card, be prepared for them to tie up some of your funds for several days.

We've been LaQuinta Inn & Suites guests for years, but I will say the chain has gone down, especially the older hotels. This is one were they slapped lipstick on it to make it appear new and modern but when you get to the rooms it's definitely an older hotel. The lobby and breakfast area as decent and "modern". Our room when I opened the door the rug at the entry was torn (I took a picture to show the front desk, so they didn't try to charge us). The tile in the bathroom was cracked/broken in several places and definitely sprayed the room down with Lysol. It has definitely seen better days. The location was perfect because it was right off the highway and it was less than 3 hours to our final destination and not the worst in reviews when we searched. There is some green space out front but don't go around back, they don't cut the grass and I don't know if the owners live on the property as there is a large overgrown garden or that is what it looked like. It's also next to another low budget hotel and they have a German Shepherd that's at the front desk. We made it through the night, and I definitely check your statement because they charged us a $1.00 (which I know isn't anything) but didn't indicate what it was for.

3.5 It's a decent spot to stay at in Corsicana…read more Pros: - Parking lot wraps around the building. Definite plus when towing a trailer. - Staff is friendly & helpful - Rooms are spacious - Comfortable beds - Water pressure is perfect, especially in the shower - Breakfast is typical but has 2-3 hot items Con: - Carpet needs to be replaced. Dirty/stained, smells bad Stayed here a few times when working in the area and in all the rooms I've stayed in, the carpet needs replacing. Will I stay here again? Probably, I'm hoping they change the carpet though. For the price, it's a good spot. Oh, if you don't want the sun beaming into your room in the afternoon til sunset, ask for an even numbered room. If you want a nicer hotel to stay at, check out the hotels at the next exit on I-45.

Check in lady at the front asked if we needed a handicap room we said no and well we got one anyways We let them know when we booked we are a family of 4 2 adults and 2 young kids lady at the front desk advised us to mind our noise level before we even got our key it seemed rude to presume we'd cause some kind of disturbance and if you know we are a young family checking in and we booked days in advance maybe make sure we are in a secluded area as a posed to front an center right above the front lobby in a handicap room after check in we headed up to our room floors in front of the elevator were extremely dirty and the hand rail in the elevator was real wobbly we entered our room upon inspection room looked clean ac worked well tv phone all working hangers in the closet were broken none the less we unpacked and got ready to settle in for the night there were only two towels in the room there are 4 of us so naturally I went down for additional body towels and wash cloths at the front desk I was questioned on why I needed so many towels I explained we are a family of 4 it's late and we are showering before bed we each need a towel to dry ourselves and wash cloths to bathe with I feel if a guest is saying we need something I shouldn't have to explain myself in order to receive service maybe next time I should pack my own towels thank god I'm not handicap or an elderly person because the shower seat was unsafe to sit on I sat on the shower chair thinking I'd be able to use this peice of equipment the offer their guest in order to sit and bathe my kids as soon as I sat in the chair the legs bent apart and I was on the floor had I actually needed this shower chair their would have been a problem and a possible injury. once we get settled we go out to the vending machine unfortunately the vending machine didn't take card which would be fine if there was any way to pull cash on site but sadly no ATM. And on top of lacking on basic customer services the guest laundry room was out of service so no laundry could be done thank god we had a bathroom in our room public facilities downstairs were also out of order wish I could say at least the food is good but I can't breakfast was sad options were extremely limited and they didn't have half the stuff they are supposed to offer needless to say we will be staying elsewhere next time we come to Corsicana and if I could get a refund I would

Nice overnight stop along the way from Mississippi to Austin, convenient location right on Hwy 31,…read moreroom clean and comfortable, relatively quiet, good rate. Only issue most probably could not have been helped: the desk clerk at check-in was attempting to provide information to a telephone caller with whom there was something of a language barrier. Meanwhile, there were two other guests waiting ahead of us to check in, including one very sweet local man, who was rather socially/mentally limited so that when the clerk finally got to him, it took another 10-15 minutes to get him checked in, payment made, breakfast options discussed, wake up call requested. The clerk handled both this gentleman and the telephone caller with admirable respect, but in the end it meant that after a lengthy drive we waited 20-25 minutes before being able to check in.

The staff was very nice, but we reserved a room with two queen beds and they were not. We…read moremeasured. A queen bed has 60" width, ( A queen size mattress measures (60" x 80" ). These beds were several inches short of that all around. And, believe me, when you share a bed with a kicky sleeper, you want all the inches of the queen bed you are paying for. We brought it up immediately, before we even unpacked, with the front desk, but they insisted that they were queen beds. I think the site I booked on claimed this was a 2.5 star hotel-- uh-uh, 2 stars at best, very run down and so smoky smelling for a supposedly smoke free hotel. One positive was the hot breakfast with an espresso coffee machine, nice! In the end, the false advertising about the queen beds just left a bad taste in my mouth, though.
