The reason per SSGE, was that there was dispute during install. During the sales process, SSGE had told me that HOA approval was NOT needed. I contacted Austin Breeze, lnc. to have them evaluate our HVAC system for possible dust and mold contaminants. Austin Breeze responded quickly to our request for help. Job: Full System Replacement TL;DR: Prompt thorough service,…read morehigh-quality hardware, and competitive pricing. Review: Pre-Installation: As a former commercial electrician turned software engineer, I had been maintaining my aging HVAC system for years until it finally gave out. When I called and spoke with a technician, we quickly confirmed that I had done everything possible to extend the system's life. The condenser fan motor was experiencing hard starts and drawing over 100 amps on startup. I had already installed a hard start kit and replaced the capacitors, so there wasn't much left to do. We scheduled a full system replacement. Installation: I chose the American Standard 4-Ton SEER 15 unit--same manufacturer as my previous 33-year-old Trane. The crew arrived promptly at 9:05 AM and began with the outdoor condenser, which I appreciated since my wife and kids were still getting ready to leave. I work from home and checked in occasionally as the work progressed. During installation, the team discovered mold growth above the evaporator coils and offered to clean and seal the area with bleach and rubber sealant, which I really appreciated. They also added a disconnect at the outdoor condenser--something not included in the original quote. Throughout the process, they provided helpful insights into the latest improvements American Standard made to their units this year, optimal filter sizes to increase airflow and tips for maintaining the unit. By the afternoon, the installation was complete, and my home was livable again. They're not some big-box company that just does the bare minimum, they adapted to what issues arose from removing a unit decades old and made choices that would result in the best outcome for the customer. Summary: These guys go above and beyond and I couldn't recommend them enough.

Our HOA's experience with Bee Cave Drilling in Dripping Springs, TX has been frustrating from day…read moreone. They installed a water well for our community, but the quality of their work and their lack of accountability raised serious concerns. To start, the electrical system was improperly wired, creating multiple safety hazards -- including three of their own workers being shocked. I was surprised to find out that they do not use licensed electricians during installs. I had to hire a licensed electrician to fix their mistakes, but Bee Cave Drilling refused to reimburse us for the cost. They also failed to keep their promised schedule. They told us the job would be completed by Friday, only to inform us late that evening that they wouldn't return until Monday. The well still wasn't operational, and they had not advised us to pre-order water. Our neighborhood had already been without water for weeks and we had to band together to finish the job just to get access to water. Following a billing dispute related to these issues, Bee Cave Drilling informed us they would no longer provide service -- effectively walking away from their responsibility. Fast forward five years, the pump they installed has now failed. According to the new drilling company making the repairs, this failure was likely caused by poor installation from the start. The wiring was damaged -- possibly from being dragged along the steel casing -- and the jacket had been stripped with multiple splices near the pump. At that depth, the extreme pressure can cause shorts and system failure. They also failed to install a check valve to manage back pressure and didn't properly set the pump saver, which allowed the well to run dry. The current contractors believe any or all of these mistakes may have contributed to the pump's failure. We are now facing nearly $30,000 in repair and replacement costs due to Bee Cave Drilling's substandard work and inexperience. I cannot recommend Bee Cave Drilling in good conscience. Their poor workmanship, lack of professionalism, and refusal to stand behind their work have caused serious, long-term problems. I hope this review helps others avoid a similar experience.
