Definitely read before going to this dentist. Right when you walk in, you see a sign about missing or late appointment fee. Red flag, right away. This isn't a place where the owner understand customer service. I do not like it when a business threatens their client. There is other ways of trying to get people to make their appointments. Like calling to get confirmations like other dentistry. I know it's a headache for missed appointments. I have my own business too. But I couldn't imagine charging them. Guaranteed they go somewhere else's when you do something like that. Putting that sign up, just leaves bad taste in your client's mouth right of the bat. They make you sign a paper stating you understand the missing/late appointment policy. Than you have to sign a paper stating you are responsible for any payments, even if they provide you a wrong quote from the insurance company. A Good business will get the quote right or take responsibility for it. Many times in my business if I quoted wrong, I would eat the cost. The way they have it set up. They can Give you any price to get you to do the procedure and change the price later. Than blame on the insurance company, saying it's not their fault. Best to have them apply for procedure from insurance than schedule appointment after they get approval and payment. When they were doing ex-rays, they didn't put the chest lead cover on me. They vest was hanging on the wall. She said, it's not necessary. Just minor radiation. If so minor, why do you run out of the room to push the button? Why does every dentist put on the protective cover during x-rays? Because it's a necessary precaution. If you forgot, just say so. Don't lie to be like I'm an idiot. My wife went the same day. I asked if she had the lead vest on, she said yes. You feel like your at a used car lot. You are up-sold the whole time. Even the nurse/assistant gets in on the upselling. Telling you should really do it. It's best for you. They said a couple teeth could crack. It's better to do something now than later. I went to another dentist after, they said no problem at all. I knew they were trying to get me to do something that wasn't needed. Also, they said I needed deep cleaning. The other dentist said I didn't, just regular cleaning and extra attention in couple areas. That's it. I was told I had a cavity. I decided to do this procedure. Didn't think they would lie about the cavity. I was told my portion was like $50 and the insurance paid the rest. Than couple months later, I got a bill for another $80. I remember signing that stupid paper saying I m responsible for their mistakes. So I decided to just pay and not waste time arguing about it. Just won't go back to this place again. And never signing or going to a dentist that makes you sign something like that. I asked to cancel all my appointments. Than six months later I get a postcard reminder of an appointment. Getting this appointment card triggered my memory of sign at the front desk about paying a fee for missed or late to appointment. I emailed right away, this way I have email receipt as proof. Dont want to be charged for anything else from this place. Trust me don't go to this dentist. It's like taking your car into a crooked body shop, use fears and pressure to get you to do unnecessary maintenance. Fix things that aren't broke. I brought all this to the attention of the main dentist/owner. Below is his response. I wasn't going to write a review, but the blatant disregard to a clients feelings. I had to share my story. "I just read your complaints. If in my business I like to tell people who habitually fail their appointments that there is a charge for missed appointments, that is my call. As a customer you have every right to object to that and decide not to return and that is your call. I am not going to apologize for that. As far as the up-sale, we are not a farmers market. If there are problems, legally and ethically we need to inform you. But at the end, it is your call to do the treatment or not. Yes we do educate the patients about their problem area and the treatment, but no high pressure sale. As far as billing goes, if you were a cash patient, you will never get quoted a wrong fee, we just quote you our fee. When insurance is involved, we have to estimate what they will pay. Sometimes the insurance will pay less and sometimes nothing at all. That is when what we have quoted turned out to be off. We never intentionally overcharge anyone. Now, should I apologize to you about the way I choose to run my business? I apologized about the staff not canceling any future appointments like you had asked. I wanted to wait until I had several visits to post a review of Most Dental. All I can say is WOW. Dr. Most is respectful, knowledgeable, gentle and didn't berate or judge me for the condition of my teeth, like other dentists have. I had to have a molar extracted, and he called me at 10 pm to see how I was doing that night (I sleep days and work nights, getting up at 9:30 pm). I have NEVER had a dentist personally check in on me after any procedure, let alone so late at night!! I need a lot of restorative work, which I am SO ready for. Dr. Most provided me with a treatment plan, along with prices (I am paying out of pocket) for everything. Unlike other dentists I have been to, I do not have to pay for the entire treatment plan prior to work being done - I pay as I go - each time I have an appointment, I pay for the work that is done that day. How refreshing! Maria, the Dental Assistant is SO sweet, and when I told her how nervous I get at the dentist, she assured me that she would be right there during the procedure, and if I felt any pain whatsoever, I could signal her right away. She really made me feel cared for and respected as a person. She will probably never know how much that is appreciated. You might say that the "face" of the practice is Gabby...when I call, she is the one who answers, makes appointments, takes care of ALL of the paperwork, answers questions - and if she doesn't know the answer to my question, she'll tell me that she will find out, and she follows through. She is SO pleasant and professional, and a pleasure to talk to. While in the waiting room (not very long, by the way) I see her juggling constant phone calls, patients checking in and out, insurance companies, dental sales reps, etc., and she handles all those things with grace and with the utmost competency. I am in awe of her calm demeanor whilst she is being pulled in so many directions at once. I want to be like Gabby. Debbie, the hygienist, did my deep cleaning, which I was scared to do, I have heard and read so many negative things about getting that done...I had never had that procedure, and yes, I was VERY nervous. Well, she put me at ease right away, telling me that if I had any pain to let her know, she would immediately give me more anesthetic. She did a great job numbing me, and we chatted on and off during the procedure - what a sweetheart! She told me that she really feels for her patients if they have to have a rough injection, so she tries to put herself in their place and works accordingly. I have an appointment to finish my deep cleaning, and I am no longer afraid to have it done. All in all, I cannot recommend this dental group enough!! I have been sharing my experiences with family and coworkers, telling them that if they need a dentist, this is the place to go! You have no idea how wonderful and comforting it is to know that you can have dental work done in an accepting, kind, yet truly professional, manner. I've been to several dentists in my lifetime. However, Dr. Most has been the very best. Why? Let's start with his staff, friendly and welcoming to myself and family. As soon as I walked in the office, I felt the family atmosphere. When I was seen by the Dr. he took the time to educate me about my teeth and the hygiene of my teeth. He showed me how to properly take care of them, tips and tricks that I have been using. I noticed my teeth are whiter and my gums are healthy. I normally give most people the benefit of the doubt so this review is quite different from most I have given. However, I went to this dentist when I first arrived in town when he was at Westcliff Dental. I had lived in that area and saw an advertisement about free teeth whitening on the outside of the business, and since I was new to town, I figured why not? I had never required any kind of treatment except for the normal cleaning, so I figured trying out this new place couldn't hurt if it was only a cleaning. He had gone to school at the University of Minnesota Dental School (and I had heard good things about that college), so I figured he was probably legit. However, when the exam came, he used this machine that kept making noises when it came upon certain teeth. I thought to myself... hm... this is strange, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. At the end of the exam, he informed me that I had 6 cavities! I was very confused since I had just been to my normal dentist from back home who informed me I had ZERO! So, at the end of the appointment I just left and said I would get back in touch with them later. A few weeks later I went back home (a few states away) and had my normal dentist give me a second opinion. He stated that I might have 2 cavities starting but definitely not 6. Then, when I returned to Vegas I asked a co-worker about her dentist just to get another opinion. When I went to the other Las Vegas Dentist, he also stated that he felt my normal dentist was correct, and I only had 2 cavities. I was furious that this dentist was willing to drill SIX holes in my teeth! I was so angry that I never went back. They continued to call me to reschedule, but I never returned the call because I just didn't want to deal with it. It has been almost 4 years later, and those other 4 teeth never turned into cavities. I'd like to say my experience was a "fluke." However, upon reading more complaints at www.insiderpages.com under Westcliff Dental, you will see many unhappy people in regards to this dentist. I would be very skeptical if he requires extensive dental work and would definitely recommend a second opinion. To go into the medical field to help people is one thing, but to go into it to give unnecessary treatment to make money is NOT OKAY! read more

I have been a patient of this office for just about 15 years. Every staff member they've ever hired has been kind, helpful, approachable, detail oriented, and puts in the extra effort to accommodate your needs! The Dr. has repeatedly taken the time to thoroughly explain things to me until I was comfortable, and will periodically ask me how I'm doing in the middle of a procedure. The Dr. has even apologized for what he thought didn't reflect his high standards at a previous appointment, something I didn't even think twice about at the time and had completely forgotten! This office projects a very welcoming and caring environment, and I'm so glad to have found it! I have had several primary care doctors in 15 years but only one dental office. I had to write a review about this business. Across the board, everyone we have come in contact with at this practice has been excellent. Gabby went above and beyond with my insurance when there was a glitch and I can't imagine how much work she put in to reduce our bill after my son had a procedure. She is on top of everything and so great to see at the front desk. Even my kids enjoy going to the dentist now because Debbie is so great. And Dr. Most is the best. He even answered two emergency calls during COVID and helped us figure out the issue with my son's tooth. Dr.Most helped me after my previous dentist said that i had way too many cavities and he told me i only had 2. My previous dentist also sent me a referral to go to a specialist to get my root canal done and when i went into Dr. Most he re- did my exams and saw he could do it himself and made it as easy and pain free as possible. He was very informative during the process and explained what he was doing and why and i never once felt any pain. My father is a dentist, but lives too far away, so i am very cautious about going to other dentists. However Dr. Most was extremely nice and professional and made me feel very comfortable. I am aware of the dental vernacular and anatomy as I grew up working for my father, so as Dr. Most and I spoke, I noticed he wasn't trying to over diagnose my treatment, in fact he was very conservative. He was very flexible with my payment options, since I didn't have insurance, and actually repaired a chipped crown at no charge.
