The staff here is incredible hands down the best customer service experience I've ever had. Everyone is involved and genuinely caring. It never feels like a rushed "hi-bye" visit; they take the time to connect, make you feel seen, and somehow manage to be personable, funny, and kind all at once. Honestly, I wish I could be friends with all of them! I've come here for pictures, X-rays, cleanings, deep cleanings, and most recently wisdom teeth removal. Every experience has been amazing, but it was my wisdom teeth removal with Dr. Kamal that drove me to finally write this review. I was terrified going in. I put off getting my wisdom teeth out for 5-7 years because my pain tolerance is laughably low (getting my ears pierced was traumatic enough). I had to get all 4 removed at once to relieve some pain I was experiencing, and from the first conversation, the team completely reassured me. They went over everything, post-op plans, expectations, recovery tips and made me feel like I was genuinely in good hands. But even then, I had no idea just how committed they were to making this comfortable for me. The surgery? Flawless. I didn't feel a single bit of pain or discomfort not before, during, or after. I'm someone who cries at a paper cut, so to walk away from oral surgery without pain? Truly a miracle. I chose IV sedation, and it was so easy , i fell asleep, and next thing I knew, I was at home, pain-free and minus four teeth. Recovery has been just as smooth. No pain, no issues, and if there ever was a moment of mild discomfort, Tylenol took care of it. I went in for my post-op checkup and everything is healing beautifully. Ill now be starting my invisalign journey with them. Dr. Kamal is amazing, and I still can't believe how positive this entire experience was. I couldn't have asked for a better team or outcome. Thank you to the ENTIRE team, I appreciate you all. Desert Inn Smiles truly feels like family and I'll never stop recommending them.

Mind you I haven't been to the dentist in over 5 years and I was very aware of the severity of my dental problems. Financial issues kept me from going back to the dentist for years. At first I was embarrassed by my teeth but Dr. Masons team never made me feel ashamed. They welcomed me and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Mason himself was also very kind and also very informative. He really takes the time to explain and answer any questions you have. I ended up having to have a root canal which he did that day. I now have a dental plan and he is working with me to get my teeth healthy again. They offer different payment plans and a few different options for loans. I called, and Morgan on the phone was super nice and very helpful. She was able to get me in really fast because of my dental situation. The day of my appointment went super smooth, everyone in the office was kind, attentive, and professional. The front desk staff was also very helpful and patient, which I really appreciated. The office is clean, organized, and has a calm vibe. Dr. Meron Anghesom was amazing! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. His assistant Tysa (hope I'm spelling her name right!) was also great, she helped me feel comfortable the whole time. Both she and Dr. Anghesom were super gentle and have such great bedside manner, which made a big difference for me. Dr. Anghesom was able to get me in for a root canal the same day. My insurance didn't cover much, but I was in so much pain I didn't even bother shopping around, and honestly, I'm glad I didn't. The procedure went smoothly, and I feel so much better now. I can finally drink water without wanting to cry! Such a great relief to finally be able to get back into my life routine again! I'm truly grateful for how everything was handled, and I can't wait to start my healthy teeth journey with Dr. Meron Anghesom and the whole Summerlin Smiles team!

Since November of 2023, I have been a patient of Dr. Anghesom for two crowns that I needed in the lower rear molars on either side of my mouth, which previously had fillings but both of which were cracked. During the initial installation procedure, the dental assistant to Dr. Anghesom was quite unprofessional. At one point she dropped my new crown on the floor and then tried to put it right back in my mouth without disinfecting it. When I told her that she needed to clean it, her response was "with what?", as if she did not realize the ground was covered in germs and the crown needed to be sterilized. She also was very impatient with me during the painful procedure, asking me if I just want to stop and come back another day instead of having a few moments here and there to deal with the pain. Dr. Anghesom also had to continue to ask her to do things that normally I would expect an assistant to know how and what to do in such clinical procedures. This was all very concerning. In all instances of installing the new crowns (new or fixed ones), even though Dr. Anghesom knew that my crowns would need to be buffed down so that I could close my mouth properly, it was primarily his assistants that did that sanding down work on my crown and not himself. I found it strange he did not want to do this careful work himself since he was said he was ultimately responsible for his work. Indeed its possible both crowns got the chipped hole because the sanding down was not done properly. By August of 2025, both crowns had a hole and came right off just during eating regular meals. Dr. Anghesom said he wanted to correct his work for the first broken crown so I forgave the previous issues and allowed that to occur, but now, two months later, the other crown has also gotten a hole and come right out. I don't have the time or patience to continue working through a painful procedure for someone to get all their work done right a second time, and maybe even more after that! I have already gone to a different dentist who said the issue was not the material the crown was made of, but the "technique" of the previous dentist. My assumption now is that I will need to get the repaired crown fixed yet again. Guess I should have seen the writing on the wall with the assistant's Dr. Anghesom employs and known I was not at a dental office that takes the careful attention to detail for something as costly and important (and painful) as permanent new teeth, which my new dentist said "should last at least 10-15 years if not possibly forever"! Dr. Anghesom did not want to offer any kind of refund for the two cracked crowns. He did offer to repair his work at no cost, but two repairs is not a coincidence and he did not want to offer and refund beyond fixing what I think should have been done correctly in the first place. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Summerlin Smiles and have cancelled all my future appointments with the team. I don't take the time to write reviews on yelp regularly, but felt so disappointed by this entire experience that it was necessary to warn other possible patients and to recommend they go elsewhere for important dental work outside of teeth cleaning.

Free parking available, I was able to do an e-check in and all they needed was to scan my ID and insurance card. It was super quick and called back within minutes. It was semi-busy around 12pm on a Monday, but the staff was friendly and courteous, and the wait time was still minimal. They accepted my Dental USA insurance, and I was in and out very quickly. The facility is a bit older, but it was comfortable and welcoming, with coffee and water available. Most importantly, Dr. Barin was honest and thorough. It turned out I didn't need a new crown at all--my existing crown just needed to be ground down a bit. I really appreciated the conservative approach instead of pushing unnecessary work. I'll definitely be coming back here for my dental care. Highly recommend.

It'll be hard to top this place, my childhood dentist has long since retired. I believe it was Dr. Mitchell Loo who did my last filling there, he was very kind and answered all my questions before the procedure. Impeccable bedside manner and he put me instantly at ease. Plus, they are financially reasonable: you can split your bill into monthly payments for more expensive procedures, and the cleaning/xray combo was less than $150 for people without dental insurance (like me). Vegas, in a plethora of dental offices you've got there, this is the "diamond in the rough"!

Several staff members acknowledged the ongoing issue and voiced frustration about how much it has affected both patients and staff schedules, but unfortunately none of this was mentioned during the appointment reminder call, so I ended up arriving late. Once inside, the experience became a reminder of how much one staff member can shape an entire visit. The clinical staff themselves were pleasant and professional. Britney was thorough with X-rays and photos, and Dr. Po completed the exam and recommendations professionally. While there were a few awkward moments regarding my medical and oral surgery history, nothing during the clinical portion of the visit stood out as negative enough to keep me from returning. What ultimately changed the entire experience for me was my interaction with Jessie at the front desk/billing area. From the beginning, I felt more like an interruption than a patient. During check-in, she continued conversations with coworkers while handing me paperwork with minimal acknowledgment. I initially brushed this off because everyone seemed stressed by the construction situation. However, after the exam, the interaction became increasingly uncomfortable. I clearly stated multiple times that I only wanted to proceed with the cleaning for now and was not ready to address additional recommended procedures. Instead of respecting that decision, Jessie repeatedly pushed the issue, emphasizing that everything was covered by the VA and questioning why I would not "fix" the problems immediately. At one point she said, "I don't understand why you won't get this done but alright," before leaving the room. Regardless of intent, the conversation felt aggressive, dismissive, and lacking empathy. Patients do not always make decisions based solely on insurance coverage or clinical recommendations, and it should not require repeated explanations for a patient to set boundaries about their own care plan. The unfortunate part is that one interaction overshadowed the entire visit. I actually had no major concerns with the licensed dental staff, but because of the way I was treated by Jessie, I will only return for the already planned cleaning and will not be pursuing the additional recommendations or continuing care at this office afterward.
