I was recommended to Summerlin Smiles by my coworker who's been coming here for years. She had beautiful teeth and raves about this clinic. I called, and Morgan on the phone was super nice and very helpful. She was able to get me in really fast because of my dental situation. The day of my appointment went super smooth, everyone in the office was kind, attentive, and professional. The front desk staff was also very helpful and patient, which I really appreciated. The office is clean, organized, and has a calm vibe. Dr. Meron Anghesom was amazing! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. His assistant Tysa (hope I'm spelling her name right!) was also great, she helped me feel comfortable the whole time. Both she and Dr. Anghesom were super gentle and have such great bedside manner, which made a big difference for me. Dr. Anghesom was able to get me in for a root canal the same day. My insurance didn't cover much, but I was in so much pain I didn't even bother shopping around, and honestly, I'm glad I didn't. The procedure went smoothly, and I feel so much better now. I can finally drink water without wanting to cry! Such a great relief to finally be able to get back into my life routine again! I'm truly grateful for how everything was handled, and I can't wait to start my healthy teeth journey with Dr. Meron Anghesom and the whole Summerlin Smiles team! read more

Drove down a fair distance here for the past three years for teeth cleaning, which has been good and the reason for the +1 star, otherwise this would be a 1 star review. Since November of 2023, I have been a patient of Dr. Anghesom for two crowns that I needed in the lower rear molars on either side of my mouth, which previously had fillings but both of which were cracked. During the initial installation procedure, the dental assistant to Dr. Anghesom was quite unprofessional. At one point she dropped my new crown on the floor and then tried to put it right back in my mouth without disinfecting it. When I told her that she needed to clean it, her response was "with what?", as if she did not realize the ground was covered in germs and the crown needed to be sterilized. She also was very impatient with me during the painful procedure, asking me if I just want to stop and come back another day instead of having a few moments here and there to deal with the pain. Dr. Anghesom also had to continue to ask her to do things that normally I would expect an assistant to know how and what to do in such clinical procedures. This was all very concerning. In all instances of installing the new crowns (new or fixed ones), even though Dr. Anghesom knew that my crowns would need to be buffed down so that I could close my mouth properly, it was primarily his assistants that did that sanding down work on my crown and not himself. I found it strange he did not want to do this careful work himself since he was said he was ultimately responsible for his work. Indeed its possible both crowns got the chipped hole because the sanding down was not done properly. By August of 2025, both crowns had a hole and came right off just during eating regular meals. Dr. Anghesom said he wanted to correct his work for the first broken crown so I forgave the previous issues and allowed that to occur, but now, two months later, the other crown has also gotten a hole and come right out. I don't have the time or patience to continue working through a painful procedure for someone to get all their work done right a second time, and maybe even more after that! I have already gone to a different dentist who said the issue was not the material the crown was made of, but the "technique" of the previous dentist. My assumption now is that I will need to get the repaired crown fixed yet again. Guess I should have seen the writing on the wall with the assistant's Dr. Anghesom employs and known I was not at a dental office that takes the careful attention to detail for something as costly and important (and painful) as permanent new teeth, which my new dentist said "should last at least 10-15 years if not possibly forever"! Dr. Anghesom did not want to offer any kind of refund for the two cracked crowns. He did offer to repair his work at no cost, but two repairs is not a coincidence and he did not want to offer and refund beyond fixing what I think should have been done correctly in the first place. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Summerlin Smiles and have cancelled all my future appointments with the team. I don't take the time to write reviews on yelp regularly, but felt so disappointed by this entire experience that it was necessary to warn other possible patients and to recommend they go elsewhere for important dental work outside of teeth cleaning. read more

It took me a while to write a review due to not being sure how to word it. I felt something off in this office. It felt fragmented and some odd experiences with the heavy metal music in the waiting room, to waiting a few months for my first appt an then being told during that appt I wasn't getting my teeth cleaned and an available appt for a cleaning was two months away, some odd conversation of the person who cleaned my teeth, and how a random dentist I never met nor was warned about coming into my cleaning appt and helping me understand my bite, which was nice but I didn't know who he was or why he chose to come in, and then he told someone to set an appt with me for Invisalign and the person goes "a 15 min block?" And he goes "an hour". Overall, I feel confused here and a lack of cohesiveness in the practice. The X-rays, exam, and cleaning went fine. But I won't be back. read more

Redemption Today, I met up with a friend for a dental appointment with Dr. Dean. This person had previous trauma, was fearful and needed a direct resolution.. Dr. Dean was phenomenal at this appointment. He collected data addressed the patient's concern and indicated a best course of action. The front desk team was helpful and courteous. I really loved coming here my hygienist was really nice. But it's just to hard to get any appointments anymore. I was told it would be better after opening and offering Saturday appointments. I just walked out of my dental appointment and it was the most absurd experience I've ever had in a dental office. At this point in my life, I have probably been to the dentist 100 times. Typically, you get some x-rays done, they make sure you don't have cavities, the hygienist cleans my teeth, and they tell me to floss better. That's pretty much it. Not at this office! First, they did some sort of full head scan which I thought were x-rays, but apparently aren't. Then the assistant took like 20 x-rays on me. She was fumbling with the equipment and kept clicking the button on the handheld x-ray device over and over and over again. Then, she puts these devices in my mouth to pull my cheeks apart and tells me to hold them so she can take pictures. She is then fumbling with that camera and has to get another assistant to try to help her make it work as I am pulling my cheeks apart with these two metal devices. Then she tells me that hygienist has come in to measure my gums to see what kind of cleaning I need. I stopped her there and said, " I just came for a basic cleaning. I understand the x-rays, but I'm not really interested in this battery of tests. I just want to get my teeth cleaned. " she responds with, " you are not even scheduled to get your teeth cleaned until three hours from now. " What?!?!? I was never told that the exam and the cleaning are two different appointments and that they said I was very lucky that I was able to even get them on the same day. When I asked to speak to the doctor, she was absolutely unapologetic and said that is how they do things there. I told her, that is fine, but the patient should know when they call in to get a cleaning done , that they're not actually going to get a cleaning done . At that point, I just walked out and told them I will never be back. What a waste of time! This could be their attempt at being the most thorough dentist in town, but it comes off as them attempting to bill insurance for as many possible services as possible. So they split the Cleaning into a separate visit so they can bill an additional office visit. That may not be true, but it's what it seems like. And most importantly, it's a waste of thepatient's time. I think their office procedures need a cleaning. read more

We have been in this dental clinic since 2017. Yvonne is the best front desk clerk and Wyatt is the coolest dental assistant there. We have been under the care of Dr Lee, Dean and Anghesom. Dr Anghesom helped me when my crown fell off. I got the next day appointment and got it fixed right away. Highly suggest this dental office. I've been seeing Dr. Dean for a few years now for my general dental care. If you've been in Vegas for awhile, you know how difficult it is to find trustworthy doctors that still have amazing bedside manner. Well, he's definitely one of the few! He is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and conservative in his approach. In an industry where most dentists are constantly recommending treatments that aren't needed, Dr. Dean isn't one of those doctors. I recently started Invisalign a few months back, and couldn't be more pleased with the results I am seeing so far. His office staff is professional, friendly, and keep the office looking amazing. First off, the office is immaculate, as in, perfect and clean. When you think of how a Dentist practice (or any business) should look and feel, Summerlin Smiles should be the North star. The staff is very friendly, polite, and helpful and made me feel welcome. Dr. Lee is the most professional and caring dentist. He goes above and beyond to ensure all my dental needs are taken care of. One time, I had to get a root canal done as I was in so much pain. I was here a few months ago when my teeth started giving me troubles while I was on vacation there. Definitely NOT where I had hoped to be on my vacation, but I feel so lucky I ended up at this clinic! The staffs are very knowledgeable and friendly. They really listened to my concerns and answered all my questions before the procedure. They also helped me with all of the insurance paperwork since I'm an out of state patient. AND the entire facility is VERY clean!! Both the operating room and the waiting area (See my pictures) My doctor was very thorough and caring. I am fairly new to the area and was searching for a new dentist and am so glad I went with Summerlin Smiles! I have always had a fear of going to the dentist but from the time I walked through the door and left, I had the most amazing experience and felt at peace strangely. The facility was extremely clean and welcoming, the front desk lady was very nice right off the bat and so was the oral hygienist. She explained what type of x-rays I was getting. Dr. Kitchen was so great and explained to me step by step what she was doing, had an amazing personality that made you feel welcomed and accepted. I had to cancel my review. My insurance changed & when I called to update my info, they asked for my husbands social. We've had some identity theft and didn't feel comfortable giving our info. I explained that our orthodontist didn't need any of this info. I had the card Id and everything. I work in the medical field and know about billing and know you don't need the social security number. When I explained I wouldn't give my husbands social, the young lady (very polite) asked me to hold to have the manager talk to me. She came back on the line & said they would go ahead and cancel my appointment. The manager didn't even want to talk to me. Not a place I feel I'd go back to anyway. I became a patient of Dr. Deans starting around September of 2020. We started with the basics which was no problem. Office staff was friendly and accommodating and the assistants and hygienists were also knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Dean was very thorough when starting the process for replacing my front 6 teeth with crowns/veneers. He will be honest with you and will give you sound advice for what would be best. The only minor hiccup I had was after getting the temporary crowns placed on, I bit into something a little too hard and it came off. Wasn't painful and after researching more, it's a common thing. They were able to get me in first thing in the morning the following day since this happened the previous night. After that we did the permanent ones and I couldn't be happier. I haven't been here in years (haven't gone to the dentist since 2018 ) but I definitely need to go back. I just know the person that cleaned my teeth is Wyatt and I am hoping he still works here. I got Invisalign from them and unfortunately it took a long time to finish because i got a root canal and the doctor didn't cut my retainer while I waited for my new trays that fit the crown which then shifted my teeth. Luckily they were able to reopen my case and I said I liked the final result but honestly I liked my teeth way more before I got the root canal regardless I am still planning to come back because my root canal cap seems to be loose and I am in need of a cleaning. read more

I'm not a fan of going to the dentist at all, however I needed to get some work done, which I have been putting off for as long as I could. My friend spoke highly of Summerlin Smiles so I decided to take their recommendation and pay them a visit, even though I live in OC (thank goodness for $20 flights!). I met Dr. Lee and he was amazing! He was very thorough and educational of the procedure I needed done. He even asked about my health history to make sure there won't be any potential complications. I wasn't just another patient to him. I left the consultation learning and knowing more about my teeth and dentistry than ever before! All my other dentists that I have gone to would just do the work and I'd be on my way. Dr. Lee was different. He takes the time to explain to you the current status of your teeth and what he recommends and why. He was never pushy and I never felt like he was trying to upsell, as other dentists would. With all the information that he was providing, I was able to make the best decision for myself and my teeth. During the procedure, Dr. Lee was again super patient and explaining what he was doing every step of the way. The hygienist and assistants were super friendly and accommodated to my needs as well. Summerlin Smiles is one of the best dentist offices I've been to in awhile! My visit to see the dentist was from a snowboarding accident, resulting into a front tooth crack. My boss referred me to Summerlin Smiles to see Dr. Lee, and honestly I couldn't be any happier. From the beginning upon arriving, their front office was extremely sweet & helpful. They explained all the papers to sign & broke down the payments/copays if needed after insurance. After I was called in for my appointment, their dentist assistants/techs that took all my CT imaging & X-rays were super gentle and worked efficiently. The scans were done and they reviewed it with Dr. Lee. After analyzing my tooth fracture with his team, Dr. Lee was super informative with what dental plans he had for me. He took the time to talked to me about the procedure of my front tooth, but also went into depth of reviewing my teeth/mouth as a whole. He wanted to let me know what else I eventually needed to get done ie: wisdom teeth extractions & potentially needing Invisalign/braces in the future for better longevity in protecting my compromised tooth. He mentions it's not just for the aesthetics of having a better looking smile, it's about the functionality and quality of life for your teeth/gums. Dr. Lee and his dental assistants worked very hard to help me maintain/save my tooth when my dentist back home couldn't do it. He was able to restore my tooth and was very thorough with getting the impressions of my tooth right. His team did multiple impression kits. The way they took care of me, I just knew everything was going to be ok. Dr. Lee's skill & knowledge in the dental industry is out of this world. This was her first dentist where she did not take the funny gas. Her pediatric Dr. prior was so amazing she never even knew she got a shot in her mouth. I've been going to Dr. Lee for a few years and I'm impressed with the precision with which the office is run. I never have to wait long to be seen, and the equipment is completely up-to-date. No spit bowls here! The new office on Russell is less of an open floor plan than the old one, which affords more patient privacy, if that's important to you. Alas, it's a much further drive for me, but still, it's worth the trip. All of the support personnel are professional, friendly, and well-trained, and Dr. Lee is a sweetie. What a nice experience. Initial consultation was conducted 45 mins after confirmation of opening. They were the only ones answering the phone on Friday morning. Full set of X Rays, Doc checked the the ole TiC Tacs for issues and then a good thorough cleaning. No charge since my insurance covered the exam. All in all it was about 2 hours. Waiting room is nice and the facility well kept in a nice area. Will become my regular stop. read more

Unfortunately I need to update my review due to their current Manager on duty today. I had an 10am appt today and was running behind. I arrived at 10:15am, after waiting 30 minutes the receptionist advised me at 10:45am that because I was 15 minutes late they gave someone else my slot and they are with the dental hygienist. The next available appointment they could schedule me for was in October. I asked to speak with the Manager. She advised me that they make appointments by the hour. So if that is the case how is 15 minutes a difference on losing an appointment if the next cleaning appointment would be at 11am? Also, are there no courtesy calls after 10 minutes? They told me they assumed I wasn't coming. She also had the audacity to tell me "well why didn't YOU call"...WOW. That's definitely a no no. While I'm driving I would prefer not to be dialing a number on my phone if I must explain myself. My family and I have been coming to Summerlin Smiles for over two years. We drive over 30 minutes because we always had a good experience with their office. The Dentists are also wonderful. We have never no-showed. In fact every text reminder sent one week prior I always confirm my appointments. Finally a noon appointment was offered, unfortunately I cannot do noon due to other obligations. Life happens and I thought this office would show courtesy grace for their patients. I guess since they are busy, old clients don't matter any longer. I'm very sad about this but I have prolonged looking for another dentist due to distance. This will force me to find a new place to bring my family. I warn this type of behavior for future with other patients. Crumbs make loaves and if you continue to treat patients this way little by little you will see the effects. You don't talk to people the way your manager did. She isn't rude but she is condescending. 30 minutes after isn't when you address a patient. You tell them immediately if a courtesy call isn't made. And your definitely shouldn't have the nerve to response to a paying customer that maybe they should have called. While the statement is true, you are providing a service and I'm the customer. All around an amazing experience I took my two little one here, my oldest who is 5 is so scared of any kind of doctors office. My daughter had Jen as her Hygienist who was an amazing and sweet lady. My son had Wyatt as his hygienist, he made my son feel so comfortable and actually let him get some X-rays on him before cleaning he's teeth. They were seen by Dr.Lee who I have to say did a wonderful job explaining any concerns I had.
