My first visit was good and the front desk (Courtney) she's very nice, after my teeth cleaning on my way out the person who's in charge of the payments and scheduling charged me $25 for the flouride wich I agreed on plus $62 for my next appointment a total of $87 , my next visit today I came in for a very tiny tooth extraction and paid $250 with culinary insurance. I wasn't aware it will cost me that much for that tiny leftover tooth that it really didn't bother me nor aches. I was surprised with the copay. if I was told how much I will be paying for my visit I would have canceled it. I don't think I will be coming back. read more

To say this was the best dental office in Las Vegas is an understatement! I had gone weeks in pain before finding them and honestly I'm so glad I found them! Marley is an absolute sweetheart! She took great care of me. She was so kind and gentle when I was crying and offered so much help. The assistant was amazing as well I never caught her name but she was so kind with me as well. I went in for a tooth extraction literally 6 hours ago , the numbness wore off about 3 hours later and still no pain! Dr Ressler was amazing! Today (10/23/19) Dr. Rick put in my new lower front implant and I am so pleased with the work! From start (when he removed my four lower front teeth which were loose due to bone loss) to finish, every step of the procedure was explained to me; he always made sure that I was comfortable. It was a blessing in disguise when I found this place. My front tooth was chipped and very sensitive so I need a dentist right away that day to fix it. We drove by Accelerated Dental and saw the tel. # outside the door,so I called and asked if they accept walk ins/new patient. Luckily it was Dr. Rick who answered the phone and he said just to come in and will check my tooth. He was sitting on the front desk and introduced himself and checked my tooth and said he can fix it. Staff were so nice and friendly. I feel comfortable right away doing the paperwork and xrays. Dr. Rick was joking while I was waiting for my turn. I was nervous being in the dentist so in a way I feel at ease and listening to him having a good rapport with the other patient next door made me feel relaxed. When it was my turn he is very thorough with his explanations and giving me options. I agreed to have a root canal(which I dreaded to have and have bad experiences in the past) but I really needed it and also have a crown. I told him"Doc,pls be gentle" He said "I have the gentlest hands in the west". The procedure went well. He was really amazing! Indeed,he has the gentlest hands in the west! I felt a little pain only when he injected the anesthesia,that's it! I dont mind having root canals and other dental works in the future as long as Dr. Rick will do it. Cathy was also a sweetheart. I cannot say enough good things about Accelerated Dental and Dr. Rick. The office has always been top notch, and I've been coming here since Francesca Barbin was the dentist. She did a great job in selling the practice to such a qualified, friendly, and knowledgeable dentist in Dr. Rick. Unfortunately during my childhood, I wasn't the best with taking care of my teeth, and now I'm taking the steps to repair my teeth via crowns, fillings, etc. Knowing this, I need a dentist that is capable of listening, caring, and having the heart of a teacher. I can safely say that Dr. Rick and his staff are all of those things. He will show you pictures of your teeth, and the x-rays to explain to you exactly what's going on in your mouth and will detail the steps needed to fix it. I never felt "upsold" on any service because I felt confident that Dr. Rick has always explained the "why" behind his recommendations. The office is always clean, playing fun music, and everyone is walking around with a smile on their faces. From the reception desk, to the assistants, hygienists, and the dentist himself, everyone is top notch and welcoming. I have a few more appointments to go and as someone who used to be deathly afraid of the dentist, I'm excited to go back and get my dental work done! I have been going to AD for a few years. Dr. Rick (I thought) was a great doctor. I schedule my appointments six months in advance. I am a teacher and I make sure to go in December and June. I was scheduled Dec. 27. They changed my appt to Dec. 20 without notice which was fine. I was off work. However, they then told me that the hygienist had a "family emergency," (I found out this wasn't true. She had quit) and the soonest they could get me in was 1/26. They tried to reschedule me yet again on the 25. I am a teacher and don't get off until 4:30 so I said. No thank you, that I would keep my 5 pm appt. They then told me the doctor would be gone. I told them that I only needed a cleaning and would rather not be rescheduled for a fourth time. When I arrived today, I had my cleaning which only took about 20 minutes versus the 45 or so minutes in the past. When I went to check out. (THIS IS THE KICKER) I was told I owe $50 for my deductible. (I have never had a deductible for a cleaning. Ever) My insurance didn't change. She continues to argue with me about this. She said. "We will bill you then. ". I called my insurance company as soon as I left and they immediately told me that I have zero copay or deductible for a cleaning. In the past they have tried to apply floride treatments during my cleaning and when I checked out they say I owe $25. They give you the treatment without first telling you the cost. It is optional but they don't tell you that. Please beware. I am concerned they are telling customers that they have a copay or deductible when they don't. Cleanings are typically covered in full when you have dental insurance. I am so disappointed in this office. I won't be returning. read more

Well I have to update my review from last time I came in and it was fantastic - this time was the extreme opposite for poor service all around. I made an appointment for a cleaning weeks ago, drove 20 minutes each way (which I was willing to do before for Dr. Barbin) only to learn (eventually, not even on arrival) that the practice has been sold to someone else. Practices get sold; but this is not McDonalds and when someone calls to make an appointment to see "Dr. Barbin" patients have the right to know that Dr. Barbin has moved to Texas! (Or how about notifying people in advance by mail or email?) This was beyond annoying, and I felt that the staff purposely hid the fact when I made the appointment, and they confirmed yesterday with no mention of this. Then a new dentist came out (which is when I discovered "no more Dr. Barbin!"), and told me he'd bought the practice. I was annoyed but considering whether to stay or go, and continued filling out paperwork, and he came out a second time at which point I said I would have to think about it and would call back. He seemed totally surprised (which I doubt, since I'm sure others are equally annoyed), and I said I wished the staff had told me when I made the appointment that the practice had been sold since I drove all the way here (and took off work to do it), and could have decided in advance. He said "oh maybe you made the appointment before - this 'just happened' March 1." Yes, but today is April 24th and I made the appointment several weeks ago - not in February. When I got up to leave the reception area, he seemed shocked and put out that someone wouldn't just be happy to jump in the chair of a dentist they know absolutely nothing about in terms of how long they've been in practice, and did not choose. "Oh, really? You're not going to have your treatment? Huh... ok then." Yes, imagine that. The whole thing was low grade - either they are purposely not telling patients the practice has changed hands, or their mindset is that they are "too busy" to provide this detail to patients. I might have gone to the guy, but not after not being respected enough to be given a heads up in advance. (And PS, why is Dr. Barbin's name still on the front door and website?) read more

Dr. Rick is very laid back, personable, funny, and he is an excellent dentist. Lynette, Jessica, and Rachel are always very helpful and professional. Been going to this Dentist for a couple of years now , Reffered my sister to them , at the beggining everything was good , nice people at front desk , they asked us to give refferals for them , we did. The VA originally Reffered them , they did a good job on my front teeth , but then my front right eye tooth broke in half . So , I went back to them , & the dentist told me this time I would half to pay half of the cost , the Va would pay the other . So I paid the $1,850.00 , for my share they removed the root & said comeback in in 3 months ( June 2023) & we will put in YOURE new tooth , " BUT", when I went back they said it was only for a cleaning, & then they said they where thinking about not useing the VA much longer because they would only pay half of the Cost , So I asked "when are you planning on putting in my new tooth I paid $1,859.00 for , they said we don't know , we will call you , but we scheduled you a tooth cleaning in January 2024 , so now " I WALK AROUND WITH NO RIGHT FRONT EYE TOOTH"! & not sure when or if they will call me , I am not sure at this point what to do , they gave me " NO INFORMATION AT ALL , other than saying " WE WILL CALL YOU !! read more
