Like most people, I am SO picky when it comes to a massage. This is hands down the best massage I've ever had in my life. Mohammed is a true master of his craft. He goes above and beyond and uses long soothing strokes mixed with hitting acupressure points. When he hits a pain point, he'll work at it to release the knot but then finish with a grounding and therapeutic touch to balance any discomfort that came up working out the knot. I am blown away by his expertise of the body mixed with his incredible strength and balanced with his tenderness and care. My favorite part is after he works the upper body, he puts a grounding, natural fiber heat pack on the shoulders and upper back, and then continues to massage the legs and feet! Every detail of the massage is so thoughtful and intentional. I cannot recommend him enough. He's worth every penny! And to be honest, his rate is beyond fair for the luxury experience he gives. My husband and I came to Muhammad on Valentine's Day for massages. He had great reviews on Google so we decided to try him. The location is small but cozy and classy. My husband had his massage first. When he was done he said it was very good. My husband never says that. He always says it's alright. He's a big guy so penetration is difficult on him but Muhammad was able to get to his tension. Then it was my turn. I have to add I had done a workout on Thursday so my legs were a bit sore and I woke up with a pain in my neck and back. He found ALL of the knots. A little painful but great. His movement is something I've never experienced and I've had MANY massages over the last 30 years. His manipulations are so fluid. He moved my limbs into position without me even realizing what he was doing. He also had me lay on my side to be able to reach the area that was bothering me. That was new for me. I've gone to Mohammed for massages for over a year now. He is a great masseuse that uses Swedish massage and some deep tissue, when necessary, that leaves you totally relaxed. He uses his whole body and both hands are on you always so it feels like a luxurious massage, as opposed to places that do not give you the full hour, or the masseuse takes their hands off of you or uses their elbows throughout the whole process. What can I say about Mohammad? He's a one-man marvel! What a phenomenal find. I'm a total massage junkie, and I've been practically everywhere in LA, so not many massage therapists manage to surprise me, but Mohammad did. His style is unique: The very first time he worked on me, all I kept thinking (silently to myself) was, "How did you know?" He has a special gift of reading your mind - he's so intuitive, you don't really even have to tell him where you are sore. His hands are like ache-seeking missiles! He finds deep aches and pains you never knew you had, and he was able to release several oppositional muscle groups responsible for my inability to even turn my neck, as well as trap, glute and hip muscles that are always wound painfully tight on me from excess sitting/being so sedentary during the pandemic. He targets these problem areas with ease, as well as ones that constantly flare up for me (lower back and inside my shoulder blade) due to my having scoliosis- and in a truly unique way. This is the best way I know how to explain it: Getting a massage from him sometimes feels like four hands moving simultaneously, like a well-choreographed dance: one hand providing a firmer stroke, on areas that really need the knots broken down, or on sensitive areas that would ordinarily tickle like crazy (like anywhere near my rib cage, or the sides of my super-tight hips), along with simultaneous movement with his other hand- an effect which totally distracts your brain from the tickle factor. It's disarming at first, until you realize just how skilled he is to be able to do that. (Ambidextrous?) I'd never experienced that. When I go for my sessions with Mohammad, I never want them to end. (And I usually think it's about to end like two or three different times, but then he keeps going..he's super generous with his time.) On top of his talent, Mohammad is simply kind: a good spirit with clearly felt, compassionate energy. He loves what he does and is very giving. Amazingly great therapeutic and relaxing massage by Mohammad! About two months ago, I went to Mohammad for the first time. I have been back several times since. I have had massages in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and Mohammad is excellent. Mohammad is able to sense where the knots and tension are and work on them in an experienced way that doesn't cause pain or bruising. Unlike some massage therapist who need to be told where the problems are, Mohammad is experienced enough to find these problem areas on his own. If you are in pain or just want to relax, GO to Mohammad. Hopefully, you will be as impressed as I was. It is rare to find a therapist who can relieve the tension and pain and do this gently.
