Celio is attentive and healing, all while remaining professional and creating a safe space. Celio's massages have helped repair shoulder, calf, and back pains that hindered my fitness journey. His massages are restorative, unlike the many spa massages I received prior. He can pinpoint knots with precision and comfortably apply the pressure needed to address them. Celio is also respectful. He always communicates his actions and pauses for consent. He sticks to the areas specified in the intake conversation while listening to your body and asking whether he can proceed outside that intake form if therapeutically additive. In short, Celio provides a healing service while ensuring client comfort. That is why I have been receiving his services every month for over a year. read more

I am verrrry picky about massages and am working remotely in LA for a month. Got a recommendation for a massage and was told that Celio was the masseuse's masseuse. I am so glad I went. Celio doesn't follow the normal massage pattern, but starts with the areas that throw the other parts out of whack. He was honest and real about the tightness and gnarly areas and pressure he would need to use to work it out. He went in. After two years of working on some issues related to a torn patellar tendon, he resolved some pain I'd been having in my knees caused by my IT band and some unexplained bruising! And, if that was not enough, he gifted me with a travel roller so that I can keep things moving while I'm here. Celio is also just a really phenomenal person with a fascinating life and even though I don't do this often, we talked throughout the massage, and trust, he could multi-task but would respect your silence as well. Really great massage from a great person. read more

By far! The best message i never knew i needed! Highly recommend Celio for your needs. I work a lot . From home. I have to sit. Sometimes i walk around my apartment when on a business call and i knew something was wrong with my back. Since i started coming here i haven't had any pain and i feel lighter and more energetic now. read more

This is your sign to see Celio! Celio is attentive to where the body holds tension and stress. I hold a lot of my stress on my neck and shoulder blades from clenching my teeth at night - even with a nightguard. Before seeing Celio, I experienced major discomfort in an office chair, while standing, and sleeping at night. My chiropractor was not enough. Seeing Celio has made a significant impact on tuning and caring for my body. I also have significant jaw issues where the joints of my jaws pop and lock. With each session, I feel less tightness in my jaw. This would be a great holistic method as opposed to botox for the masseter muscle. Through each season, Celio puts my comfort first and he's such a wonderful person. Celio is a true professional and I am grateful to have a go-to master masseur. read more

Very knowledgeable about muscular anatomy and perfectly knew how to treat my condition!

I knew I would be in good hands when I visited Celio's site/instagram. He knows what he's doing, what he's talking about and how to tailor services to his client's needs. I was very impressed that he spotted my minor scoliosis and addressed some pretty intense tightness in my hips resulting from it. He was communicative, inquisitive, and pleasant to work with (they don't call it bodywork for nothing!) Delighted that the search for my go-to local massage therapist has come to an end. I will be back! read more

Let me start by saying, I've been dealing with severe sciatic pain, so my sessions with Celio haven't been the relaxing spa like massages. I know it has to be a different type of massage to work through my extremely tight muscles and ligaments. It's more like physical therapy (and psychotherapy ). That being said, he's amazing and I'm confident that once my sciatica is under control, I'll get to have that relaxing massage. Celio is so knowledgeable and caring! He clearly loves what he does and really wants to help heal people! He's also very respectful, as a woman, that's very important to me. *** it's also important for me to mention that his studio is located behind his home and you must wait at front gate till he's done with other client and he'll let you in. I recommend txting him when you arrive. I mention this because some people may be put off at first or have concerns that he's not a legitimate business and possibly a psycho killer. I assure you, he's not dangerous :) If I hadn't read so many positive reviews, I may have been sketched out on my first appointment. There's free street parking and I've never had a problem finding a spot. I'm so thankful I found Celio, and I HIGHLY recommend him for whatever your physical needs are!! (He also has the sweetest dog named Braza which for me is an added bonus) Go see Celio you won't regret it! read more

Ive had massages before but CELO was hands down the best! I came in feeling incredibly sore and tired and after he was done, I felt significantly better. He really took his time in the areas that needed more work and was very respectful the whole time. He was incredibly cautious and vigilant about covid procedures and I felt very safe. he knew exactly where I needed more work done and afterwards he let me know recommendations and exercises for my back which I have found super helpful. He never once applied too much pressure but also made me feel very comfortable telling him when it was too much in one area, something I have struggled with with other massages. Will definitely come back! read more

This time got the 90 minute massage. Never had one that long before but was, again, excellent. Massages are longer a "treat" for me, but now a routine and worthy part of optimal living. Glad to have Celio as my go-to guy. read more

Massage session was so so lovely! The therapist knew exactly what he was doing and I felt so much relief afterwards

I highly recommend Celio! His knowledge of the body is unparalleled to anyone that I have been to. He is highly professional and provides an amazing deep tissue massage. Great for people with injuries and his massage is a great addition for people that work out. read more

I have been going to PT for over a year now for frozen shoulder. Although the shoulder can now move, I still had a lot of pain in my arm muscles. Unfortunately Physiotherapists don't do proper massage. I decided to find a good Deep Tissue Masseuse to help speed things up. After working with Celio, I am now almost pain free and he is working to resolve my stiff neck too. He is able to identify where all the tension points are and really understands how the muscles work with his hands on approach. I really love going to him. read more

Celio did a fantastic job on an excellent therapeutical massage. I have a leg and shoulder injury, he was mindful of that and carefully worked in those areas to help relieve tension in sore muscles without causing any problems with the injuries. He was exceedingly professional and very kind and friendly. I would absolutely go back. read more

I got a great massage at CS Massage Therapy. Célio really listens to you and focuses on the areas that are bothering you. I felt 1,000 times better after my massage. I'll be coming back soon! read more

Celio is hands down the best massage therapist I've ever been to (and I've been to many!). I won't go to anybody other than Celio for a massage now. I have regular back pain because I work in the office and am sitting at my desk more than 50 hours per week. I got one massage from Celio and my back pain improved instantly. I had been getting regular monthly massages for years, but after one massage with Celio I felt like I had never gotten a real massage before. His massages are specialized, targeted, and healing. He really knows what he is doing! If you are on the market for any massage - relaxation, sports, deep tissue -- Celio is your person. Try him once and you'll never go back to anybody else again! Thanks Celio! read more

exellent session. he not only gave a great massage but a quick diagnosis on what he saw as problematic in my body. with suggestions on what could be helpful. read more

I've started getting back into shape after sitting at a desk for a year. My back and shoulders have been a mess and I thought I'd treat myself to a massage. I found Celio on Yelp and thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did!! Celio is professional, respectful, friendly, and incredibly skilled in his practice. He immediately recognized my back/shoulder issues, and gave me tips on how to strengthen my problem areas. I came in with a headache, stiffness, and pain, and left feeling absolutely incredible. I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you, Celio! I'll be back! read more

I got SUCH a good massage! Celio is incredible and is so attentive to your needs. I had a knot in my back that had been bothering me for weeks and he really dug in there to relieve the tension. Not to mention i've been to other massage places and they will waste the 60 min rubbing your back or doing anything other than a full 60 massage, but Celio will work the whole 60 min! I felt so good coming out of there, will definitely be back and would definitely recommend! read more

Feeling so refreshed after my massage with Celio ! It had been months since my last massage and he knew exactly what areas to focus on to relieve any tension I was holding. The new location in Beverly grove was lovely ! Easy street parking options and I love the zen vibe of the studio. I will definitely be recommending him to my friends and family and scheduling monthly massages in the future ! read more

I had a great experience with Celio and his massage service. I recently had a one hour massage with him and I found him to be very intuitive with his work. Celio is professional and knows what he is doing; he found all the spots where I held tension, knots and he helped relieve a lot of it. I will be going back in a few weeks so he can further work on my neck and shoulders. read more

I was recommended a massage at CS Massage Therapy by a good friend who knew how much my body could use the therapy. I have an athletic background with many injuries owing to my previous sporting endeavors. In my time I have had many sports therapy / recovery type massages. Never before however have I met a masseuse who was able to find all my injury points so quickly and precisely. Celio was highly professional throughout the entire process and was constantly checking in with me to ensure I was comfortable and feeling ok. His massage left my whole body feeling better than I can ever remember, his attention to detail on all my injury points was amazing and he ensured he got through all my injuries in our session. I arrived at my session with a migraine, I left without one! 5 stars isn't enough for such a caring and talented human. read more

Celio is an amazing massage therapist. He really understood what was the source of my stiffness and pain, and directly addressed those areas. He makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed, and also welcomes feedback during the massage to make sure you get the best experience. His studio is also clean, cozy and convenient. Will definitely be coming back regularly. read more

I had my first massage with Celio this week. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I can say honestly that this is the best massage I have received to date, and I frequently get massages for athletics. I have taken a class today after the massage yesterday and have seen improvement with flexibility and pain in movements. I highly recommend. read more

I highly recommend Celio for your next massage session. He is personable, respectful, his studio is perfectly clean, and he is HIGHLY skilled in his practice. The massage was fantastic. Celio has great intuition with your body's problem areas and will focus on them to achieve the results you are looking for. It's been a very long time between massages due to Covid and I felt tremendous relief after my session but completely safe during. None of us realize the unbelievable amount of stress this last year (not to mention last 4 yrs) has taken on our well-being. Put your trust in Celio to help alleviate some of that baggage. I promise you will feel much better after your session and will return for more. As I was leaving, I grabbed a stack of his business cards and have been handing them out to friends with this exact recommendation. You won't be disappointed. read more

My massages (2) that I've had with Celio have been possibly the most therapeutic massages I've had in my life, and I have had MANY. He's got great energy and really assesses your body and spinal alignment before getting started, he seems to have such a vast knowledge of the body and is very careful not to exasperate any pre-existing issues. I came in for pain in my neck that had been really bothering me and hindering my movement and he literally fixed my neck in the first session and my neck and upper back felt better than it has in quite some time. Beyond the massage itself being great and really effective it's also very relaxing . I recommend him highly!! He's super sweet, professional, and talented I will absolutely be going back. read more
