Very helpful and friendly When I first came into the shop,…read morethey greeted me very politely. And when I asked them for a shopping item, they immediately helped me. The workers are really nice and generous. They always help you when needed. They have numerous of supplies I needed. And overall a nice and welcoming experience.

Blackburn Post Office is quite a nice post office and a decent resource to have in Blackburn…read morecentre, just outside Blackburn's The Mall and opposite Morrison's. This is actually located in a newsagents, and it is a small part of the newsagents which contains around two or three counters. It does do most of the typical stuff you would expect from a post office and does sell envelopes etc which still seem pretty expensive despite not being the typical Post Office ones, but that is mainly coming from what I'm used to paying which is around £9-£10 for 100 Size D/C5 padded envelopes on Amazon, overall the prices were slightly higher than what you would expect normally, it would cost about 80p or so for an envelope as I recall, where three near enough exactly the same could cost £1 at Tesco, or the same for £1.50 at Sainsbury's. The staff member who served me didn't seem too friendly, they seemed computer-like and a little impersonal, I did have to go back twice as I did originally forget a parcel, she still didn't seem too friendly sadly. Neither staff member who was working did. This store is quite useful as it is open between 9am and 5:30pm between Monday and Saturday, which are typical opening hours for local post offices and ones located in large city centers such as Manchester, so it is just average, typical but visiting later on, on a Saturday was useful for this still to be open as certain branches like my local store in Middleton centre wouldn't be. It is pretty much a typical post office apart from it being a regular newsagents and the post office being inside it, the only good things are mainly the extended opening hours on Saturday and location so I feel it has managed to do enough for two stars.

CASHIER NUMBER FOUR PLEASE…read more Nice to see the Post Office is still here after the cuts that were suffered. My usual small office did disappear which meant a longer trip into town. What can you say about the service? Well how about up and down. There are those days when the queue is as far as the door and the odd days I t take the long winding trip through the empty barriers to the cashier. Do I mind that trip,? NO I just feel like jumping in the air and clicking my heels. Ohhhh how I hate it on the days everyone in the queue seems to be holding a form for car tax or thats what I have always thought it was. They get to the counter and then proceed to fill it in. Worst when it's staff lunch hour and cashiers go down to two. The Post Office used to sell lotsof bits and bobs, that seems to have gone and we are down to just the usual post items. It did give you something to look at or grab as you trundled along the queue. But at the end of the day, it's our good old Post Office. always been there and hopefully always will be. Not the most elegant one, not the quickest, It's friendly and does the job. Stands there like a rock of which I imaginee it is to alot of people. So now ,, I was actually going to give it Four stars but going to go back up the page and give it Five. I convinced myself just how much I like it, expect it to be there, and what it does for me. Would you like a Top Up, Insurance, A New Telephone Provider.? NO... OK ,, Thank you. CASHIER NUMBER FOUR PLEASE
