Updated review Moxie called after i posted this review on…read moreGoogle, yelp, and 2 BBB Complaints against Moxie Pest Control LLC and Moxie Pest Control LP. Moxie did not mention the reviews but did reverse the 150$ charge. For that i'll bump them to a 2. I appreciate them reversing the charge, but i do not like that this has taken 3 calls and me posting 4 public complaints before i get anything handled. Sticking people into contracts when you are not holding your end of the deal is not the right thing to do. I appreciate you correcting your mistake. ---- Moxie came to my home and performed 3 services, after the first service i noticed for the first time a mouse in my house that i was able to get rid of (without moxies help) and i noticed i was getting more ants than ever before in my yard. So i asked moxie to come and they sprayed again, to which i noticed my yard getting WORSE again. Moxie comes out again, final service. This time same thing, i have paid in full up until that point no issues. I call moxie again and tell them i want to swap services because their service wasn't working for me. Then they tell me I'm being charged a early termination of a 1 year contract a fee that was 150$ and if i had just gotten 1 more service with them would've instead only cost me 100$? Business is shady i refuse to pay this 150$ they are trying to charge 1.5% on top of that 150$ every month if i don't pay it too. Absolutely not i will not be forced into paying for a terrible service. I swapped companies and within the VERY FIRST SERVICE of the other company I've noticed absolutely no issues. I called moxie to dispute these charges 2 months ago, at that point i told them the same thing quit contacting me, your service did not work. Please show me in the service agreement where it said Moxie can pretend to spray my yard with some magical spray that is apparently useless, and never actually help me get my yards pest problem under control. I bet it doesn't say that. Do not contact me again. Do not expect me to ever pay this 150$ For any consumer thinking of buying them. These guys are some grade A car salesman they make theirproduct sound great then leave you hanging when they donothing for you. Then try to charge you for something THEY DIDN'T DO AND HAD BEEN PAID IN FULL UP UNTIL THAT POINT.

I recently was made aware that my house had a small termite situation. This was not good news & I…read morewas very anxious about it at first. As you can imagine, I'm thinking worst case scenario & my house was going to fall apart at any moment. After asking around & getting some friend referrals, I contacted Strike 3 Pest Control. They were extremely friendly over the phone & offered to do a free in-home estimate. Strike 3 was able to come by fairly quickly. Their technician did a full inspection that took about an hour and provide us with a quote right away. He was also kind enough to throw in a full house treatment for the inside & outside. Luckily, I was told that the termites had more than likely not done any significant damage and this was actually extremely common in our area. We did get a second opinion from another reputable company, but they happened to be several hundred dollars more expensive & didn't give us much confidence with their level of knowledge. Strike 3 was able to schedule an appointment for about 1 week out. The work was performed over a two day period. The men that came onsite to do the work were very friendly, professional & worked quickly. They actually had to drill holes about every foot or so along the garage walls & around the back concrete deck. They filled each hole back in with concrete. There were several very small holes drilled inside where our drywall was. They also filled those drywall holes. We just need to paint over them again. Not a big deal. They were careful to vacuum up any debris that was left. I literally did not have to do any cleanup once they were completed. Overall, I was very satisfied with their work. I wasn't wild about the cost of it, but it really is a lot of work. I will more than likely use them in the future for any standard bug spraying. Since they did the treatment a week ago, we haven't seen a single live bug in or around the house. The termite work has a 5-year warranty.

We were originally quoted one price, but they continuously raised the rates and tacked on unmentioned charges. When we tried to resolve this, the office staff--specifically Tori and Jacob (the General Manager and Account Manager)--were completely unprofessional and dishonest about the costs. Furthermore, their "satisfaction guarantee" is completely meaningless. Technicians routinely failed to show up during their scheduled windows. Despite paying them, our rodent and bug issues were never resolved. My husband ultimately had to go to Walmart to buy DIY products just to get the situation under control. We will never use Orkin again. Save your money and find a company that actually delivers on its promises.

Our experience with Aptive Pest Control was extremely disappointing and demonstrated a complete…read morelack of reliability, communication, and customer service. Our most recent service appointment was scheduled with a four-hour arrival window, and we arranged our day accordingly. The technician never arrived. After the appointment window had passed and business hours were essentially over, we received only a text message stating that there had been vehicle problems. We agreed to reschedule for the very next day, expecting the issue had been resolved. Once again, no technician arrived, and this time we received no phone call, text message, or explanation whatsoever. We were simply left waiting. To make matters worse, Aptive's automated scheduling system then sent a notification stating that our appointment had been rescheduled for the Fourth of July--a national holiday--without anyone contacting us to determine whether we would even be available. When we called customer service to have the appointment moved to the following Monday, we also asked why no one had shown up for the second scheduled visit. We were told that the technician had experienced problems with the company's routing application. While occasional issues can happen in any business, repeatedly failing to provide service, coupled with a complete lack of proactive communication, is unacceptable. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of the entire experience was the inability to reach or speak with anyone at the local level who could address the problem or take ownership of resolving it. Everything had to go through a centralized customer service system, leaving us with no confidence that future appointments would be any more dependable. After two missed appointments, multiple conflicting explanations, poor communication, and an automated system that appeared to reschedule appointments without regard for the customer's availability, we concluded that we could no longer trust Aptive Pest Control to provide dependable service. We ultimately cancelled our contract. Dependability and communication are fundamental expectations of any service company. Unfortunately, Aptive failed on both counts.
