Critter Control was able to stop by quickly to give a quote for removal/repair within a day or two and then was able to immediately start the work to remove the squirrels and cover up the holes they made within two business days. They answered all my questions along the way and did a great job with quickly catching the squirrel who was causing the issues and patching up the holes with metal and metal mesh to deter any future intrusions. Overall, I'm super satisfied with the work they did, their responsiveness, and their price!

During that time, service fees increased without my explicit agreement due to automatic billing, and appointments were scheduled by the company rather than coordinated with homeowners. My regular technician, Lee, was consistently professional and thorough. * On December 31, 2025, a different technician arrived and stated he planned to complete only an exterior inspection. I requested an interior inspection, which had routinely been included in past services. While checking the basement bait stations, the technician slipped on the stairs without wearing boot covers and spilled a his entire bag of rat bait across the basement floor. * The technician asked to use my vacuum and suggested using bleach on wood floors, neither of which was appropriate. Rat bait was tracked throughout the basement and into the main level of my home. I assisted with cleanup using paper towels and a garbage bag, as we do not own a broom. The technician indicated it was likely unsafe for my dog to access the basement. * He contacted his supervisor and inaccurately stated that I refused to provide cleaning tools. His behavior during the visit was unprofessional and verbally inappropriate. I asked that the visit be ended and rescheduled, and a supervisor assured me the technician would not return. * Despite this, I was billed for the service, and a service report was submitted stating an inspection had been completed when it had not. Due to poor customer service, inaccurate reporting, and questionable billing practices, I am canceling my service with Modern Pest effective immediately.

I was hesitant but he kept on. So I said yes. He came back with a white cloth suit,and 2 cans of natural care peppermint oil sprays. I said to him where is ur canister with the insecticide. He said we use all organics and this stuff works way better than anything else. My daughter wasn't there,or this wouldn't of happened. Eli started spraying his first can all over the the apartment in the air. I asked him shouldn't u spray the baseboards and cracks as they like to hide there. He seemed bothered. Anyway he took his card payment and left. They're was a problem with my bank so he came back by that time my daughter was there she had a few questions for him that he couldn't answer. My daughter is a biten so am I. And his response was fleas don't bite.....is he serious. He scheduled an appointment for 2 weeks out. I was already calling him the same day as nothing happened. He kept saying let it work. Ok so I did. And things just got way worse. I told him his peppermint cans did nothing. So my daughter started looking online til I saw the same product he used NATURAL CARE on amazon for $12 can. I said nothing to him til he came back the following 2 weeks. As soon as he walked in and seen that I had purchased the same cans he used charging me $300 his face turned pale. Then he raised his voice at me and started arguing with my daughter. My daughter said I want a full refund as what u used did not work whatsoever. He said yes it does work I use it all the time. What he is doing is a scam he is purchasing these cans in bulk so he's getting them even cheaper than $12. I love how he said that one needs a special license to get those. I'm still waiting for my refund. After he said that he would at least give me some of my money back. His last words to me were "this isn't McDonald's where u can just get ur money back" Stay far away from this con artist. He takes short cuts. If u want to waste $300 for $24 job by all means call Eli. And for rodents he puts a humane cage than let's the mouse/rat out in ur backyard so it can come right back in. I know this cuz he came from a rodent call and I was curious. This man wasted my time and money. I work hard and I pretty much gave him $300. Please stay far away from this con artist. I don't know how he's lasted this long. I guess no one checked him out.
