The food is tasty. Unlike most Korean restaurants, Kimchi and Bulgogi are not the highlight of this…read morerestaurant. Chicken is... as well as Mandu (dumplings... Gyoza for those of you who enjoy Japanese Gyoza). Give it a try!

You order online from a QR code given to you when seated which I'm neutral on. They speacialze in fried chicken and it was very yummy. We got the sweet and spicy soy sauce with garlic flavor for our chicken. We ordered a whole chicken of this because there were two of us and it also comes with fries beneath the wings. Very hearty meal and we weren't able to finish all of it. The order also came with a very yummy simple salad as well as some daikon radish. The chicken itself was extremely juicy and yummy. The coating was very crispy and overall well seasoned. My only problem is that the sauce on the chicken was veryyyy sweet. Like extremely brown sugar tasting more than a soy sauce flavor. It wasn't what I was expecting and honestly i didn't like it too much. It was entirely too sweet for me and without something sour to balance it, it became a lot. It was a good amount of spice thought that built up as you ate more but I liked the spice level. They also didn't have any Korean side dishes that you would usually expect. Don't tell anyone but we brought our own kimchi and it made the chicken a lot easier to eat because it wasn't just a sweet bomb. We also both ordered two Cokes and they were from a can but soooo crispy yummy. Overall would go to this place again but would get a different flavor of chicken for something more savory than sweet. I also recommend ordering a side of rice.

I don't honestly know how this compares to other Japanese places in Stuttgart, but it's just OK as…read morecompared to Japanese places elsewhere in the world. I came for the Ramen so that's what I ordered first. The Tonkatsu Ramen was reasonably priced, but the broth had very little taste - it made me wonder if they really made it from bone or if they used a miso base to save money? The egg was a hardboiled egg, so the effect of the yolk in the broth was completely lost. Unsatisfied I decided to try some sushi. For a place marketed as authentic, they were really obsessed with maki. I ordered some a la carte nigiri which was fine - but the garnishes they chose were unedible so it really took away from the experience. The place was cute and the server was nice, but at these prices I expected better.

This isn't your dine everyday place...this is your I've got a craving for good sushi and ramen place and I'll pay anything for it place. It's conveniently located near a train stop but the parking lot around the stop has abundant parking spaces. I decided to go with one of their set dinners for 44 euros. Started with a bowl of edamame, sashimi salad, chicken karaage, gyoza, bowl of miso ramen, and green tea ice cream. What I love is that you can customize it to some degree. Each dish was fresh and tasty...and honestly not terribly priced for what you get. My husband on the other hand got a plate of sashimi that was 34 euros along with his entree. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. His English was discernible. There are Japanese staff that deliver the food and their English is not so discernible but their Japanese is great! What I love and miss about Hawaii is the wonderful Japanese service and it's nostalgic to get it here. The graceful, polite service that the Japanese are known for is enough to keep me coming back, despite their higher than average prices.
