Haven't been to Mos 2 in a very long time. Glad I stopped by, the prices are pretty decent and the portions are not bad at all. Unfortunately there are virtually little to no vegetarian options. Still the fflavors are great. I was surprised to see that they have 2 small restrooms behind the business. They look decently clean. It's a small place so it is a little divy. The staff are generally friendly but service is fast so be ready. The interiror is generally clean. I can see why it is still in business. Definitely will be back. read more

Haven't eaten at MOS 2 in a long time. I am happy to report that it's still great and a great value. Meat is fresh and hot off the grill and the sauce is unique to mos. The place was clean the service treats you like you're wasting their time. The parking lot was clean. The outside was well kept. The food is ready in a timely manner, but the health standards definitely need work and the same with proper temperature holding equipment and procedures. The beef bowl I got was ok the majority of the beef was dry with lots of gristle and fat, very chewy the rice was really good and the teriyaki sauce was really good. The chicken was also dry lacked seasoning and flavor. I don't know if the relying on the sauce? The shrimp was absolutely wonderful flawless execution. The eggroll and salad are done well. They could make it more friendly and have better practices in the execution of the kitchen and do a few minor adjustments. There's no reason why this couldn't be an epic place to go for teriyaki. I'll check back in a few weeks and see if it gets better. I really hope they do. read more

I can finally give this place five stars. This has been a favorite of ours for a long time. We stopped going since cash was the only option but they now accept card! There was another reason we wouldn't go here alone, let's just say there was a lot of staring from the guys when a girl walked in. this unassuming restaurant is known around here to have great teriyaki bowls, so i was so excited to try it. there is a small parking lot but its a pretty in and out place, so parking is not an issue. the food was good! the chicken had a delicious smokey char and the portion was generous. if i went again, i would prob get the bowl over the plate. the side salad was very watery/didnt have any dressing and the egg roll and gyoza was just okay. the plates come with plenty of teriyaki sauce which i appreciate !! i also really liked their hot sauce - it tasted like thicker tapatio. heads up - this place is CASH only! read more

The dressing distribution for the salad was uneven but besides the really critical note about the salad, the food was really on point. Tip They only take cash. I went during lunch around 11:50am during a weekday and they got very busy around 12pm. If you are on a time crunch, prime eating times seem to have a slightly longer wait but the service is very fast. They only have one indoor seating spot with the rest being outdoors. read more

I visited Moss 2 and ordered a chicken plate with double salad. The food was good and the portion size was generous. I've been coming here for years, and it always hits the spot. I make sure to get a bag of carrots and jalapeños and add extra dressing to the salad because they tend to put very little. While the place could use some new renovations, the food is consistently excellent. 5 STARS!! read more

I hit the plate with extra chicken and extra chicken is 5 dollars. It didn't really feel like 5 dollars worth of chicken but who knows. I'll pay attention next time when k get the plate again to see if there is a portion difference. Hopefully there isn't so I don't have to change the star rating. The plate does come with rice and meat of your choice, egg roll, guitar and a salad. The chicken was slightly over cooked this time. 12 bucks plus extra meat came out to 17 bucks. Expect a food truck vibe when coming here, made to order food from a pretty short menu. So a lot of people just get their food to go but that's fine and I didn't expect much. I had a teriyaki chicken bowl and had a side of teriyaki pork. Both were excellent (great charred taste and flavor and texture) and had a good amount of meat for the price. I would keep coming back if I lived closer. First time trying this place out, around from my moms house, so my husband said let's try it out. Walked had to wait a little bit but gave us time to look the menu boards over, wasn't greeted but ask what we wanted once I asked him a question about shrimp combo with a joke he lighten up. Mom wanted Shrimp only as a combo so ask if we could get it that way and he said they could do it for us, then me and my husband ordered the teriyaki beef/chicken combo. Mom enjoy her shrimp but a little to much breading for her liking and no sauce for the shrimp but other wise she enjoyed it. The teriyaki combo was good we both liked it but some of the meat was a little done for my taste and my husband, thought we could share a combo next time even though we ate it all.
