The man at the front told me if I brought it back the reinspection would be free. I fixed everything and brought it back a few days later and my car failed for one singular license plate light out (when it has two) even though the place i took it after here passed it with it out. For the reinspection they also charged me $10, when they said it would be FREE for a reinspection. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Paul was first recommended to me by a trusted friend who had nothing but excellent things to say about him. Based on that recommendation, I called Paul, drove from Ithaca to Cortland to have my car serviced and to fix a troubling control arm and ball joint issue. From the moment I arrived, Paul welcomed me with a warm smile and treated me with respect. What impressed me even more was how he kept the lines of communication open throughout the repair process, ensuring that I understood what was being done and why. I recommend Paul 100%. I went back out after 1.5 hours to get a bag and check on my car, it was gone. I told the dispatcher I had a sound check for a show, the parking garage nearby is closed, businesses were mostly closed and no one was in the lot, and had returned to check on it it -- he initially felt bad but then became rude, stating it was $425 and wouldn't budge on price. Keep in mind, city tows are $275. I got there after my show at 12:30am -- just a truck sitting at the gate, no light, no office. The kid there said he was just about to leave. I asked for a receipt by text and never received a response. I also asked for the contract between the property management co and Kosiken's, no response. They could have written a ticket or put a boot on. This is legal theft & coercion.

I told him I had had minor work (replacement of a rear disk brake stone shields) done at another shop last October. The next day the left caliper seized up. I let them replace the caliper and pads, to the tune of at least $600. A day later the right rear caliper seized up. I also paid to get that repaired too. Ever since, the right rear has been getting hot and makes a scuffing noise. I left my car at that other shop at least a dozen times asking them to find and fix the problem. It was obvious that they either won't or can't fix it. So I told Doody Brothers, I think the other shop did something wrong. Anyone would logically assume that. Doody Brothers got argumentative with me saying I was looking to blame the other shop. I don't give a damn! I'm not looking to file a court case. I was just looking for someone to fix the problem. The guy got mad and started yelling. I never knew mechanics could be so hyper sensitive.
