Staff is pleasant and helpful and, once you're a regular customer and they know you, go above and beyond. Even better they'll give you good advice that will ultimately save you money. Taber is reasonably priced and doesn't charge you unnecessarily for what they don't do. (This may make sense for some. I've had a bad experience.)

A very common feature for each review was the service quality, integrity and kindness of Louis. Louis answers the phone, follows up with each client, told me the truth and fixed my service issue. Today my rear brake job was completed after status updates throughout the morning from Louis. The job was completed under the EOD promise time, and Taber auto also completed my inspection. Louis went further to say he would have passed me before begining the work as my rear brakes were within allowable tolerances. Now I will visit Taber Auto for all of my repairs. A wise mentor once told me, people go where they are made to feel welcome and stay where they are treated well. Louis treated me well and I plan to stay with Taber Auto.

This is the shop that I would recommend going to. I went to Mavis discount tire in vestal because I was looking for something closer to me, cheap and quick. Mavis tried to rob me by telling me I urgently needed to repair my brakes and rotors(this was completely unrelated to why the vehicle was brought there in the first place too). I took the vehicle to Mikes intending on having those parts fixed and they told me the parts were just fine. I greatly appreciate the honesty there. I could have potentially had that done at Mavis and significantly over paid for work I didn't need. I also probably wouldn't have got the best parts because it seemed super suspicious they were even able to do put new parts on that second. Maybe they were just going to charge me for work they didn't even do if I agreed to it because the parts were completely fine. Mikes auto shop is the way to go for any vehicle issues. Very high level of skill/knowledge here and you can't go wrong giving them your business.
