I had heard about the Tin Widow's holiday pop up being one of the best area, the hype was not wrong. From the entrance to the ceiling and walks, this place is the definition of deck the halls. Unless you get here right when they open it early in the holiday season, I would expect a crowd. The drink menu is so fun with holiday themed drinks served in matching glassware. You can even purchase the glass/mug for an additional fee. A lot of the cocktails looked to be batched cocktails which help with the bartender's efficiency. Highly recommend making this place a holiday stop. I'm also curious to stop in after the holidays to experience it without all the holiday decor.

Our driver was great and you could tell that they were trying to hustle at the end of the night even though they were plagued with post game traffic. It helps that they have a few shuttles going. The service is quick even when they're busy but there is definitely a welcoming ambiance throughout the entire team. The manager is super present throughout the bar and the staff and even the chefs all can be seen laughing and joking together even on busy nights. The event space was perfect for our needs. The beer and drink selection is incredible with a wide selection. I have never tried a dish here that I didn't like. I love their fish fry the most though but everything on the menu is incredible. The Brewers shuttles are a huge plus as well. They have alcohol samplings often as well which is fun too. I cannot recommend this place enough whether you need an event space, a pregame before a Brewers game, or a nice meal with friends and family.

The place does a good job with the decor of an Irish bar with the woods, stone fireplace, windows and light fixtures etc. I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary to start and I looked over the menu but I remembered from my first visit that they have a burger of what ever so I asked what it currently was and it's a Swiss patty melt on marbled rye with choice of side, onion straws is a personal favorite of mine so yes please. My food came quickly before I could even make a dent into my decent spicy Bloody Mary which had two olives as a garnish, weak presentation at best. The place wasn't busy at all and my server/bartender didn't do a great job at taking care of me and I waited 10 minutes at least for a box and a check after I was clearly done with my meal. The Swiss patty melt looked delicious with a cold pickle, onion straws and what looked like 1000 island dressing on the side. The pickle was a nice size with decent crunch wise. The onion straws were perfect with a light breading, tasty/thin cooked in relatively fresh oil. The Swiss patty melt was cooked perfectly rare with a char grill flavor, melty Swiss cheese, translucent onions with some crunch on perfectly toasted marble rye bread. Overall the service could have been better and yah I could have ordered an Irish staple but I was thoroughly satisfied with with the Bloody and burger of the month.

The space feels refreshed while still keeping that classic sports bar vibe. We were invited to a birthday party that happened to fall on the same night as a Packers playoff game, so the place was absolutely packed. That said, the setup for the party was great--we had our own area with plenty of TVs to watch the game and reserved tables facing the front of the bar. Pizza was served for the party (we didn't try it), but it looked good--cheesy with a thin crust. We ordered a patty melt and a cheese curd burger, and both were excellent and very large portions. Service was good, especially considering how extremely busy it was. I'd definitely come back on a calmer day or night to try more of the food.
